I don't understand the vtuber thing at all. Like are agencies like wrestling companies like just for example a WWE guy can't just show up on an AEW show while under contract then you got your indie scene but also like collabs between companies like NXT/TNA AEW/NJPW? Am I remotely in the ball park? Unless they start doing cannibal corpse covers or something like that i don't really care for the music side. Just funny cartoon characters replacing webcams making jokes playing games. Like goons or vanoss without the cartoon -anime or charcuterie to replace a missing face. Like i recognize fuwwamocco regardless of animation style just the thumbnail
kinda there is a rivalary between the big corpos, and its get akward when an ex talent joins a competting one. They play nice most of the time just Nijisanji got some terrible PR. Also the corpo talents have pretty nasty NDAs so they got to be careful. Also most corps own the Ip of the vtuber so once they leave it gets a bit akward when job experiance and past events with friends are brought up. To bring it to prespective imagine you was in boy band and went solo at a different lable.
Wrestling is a pretty good comparison but it's not 100% the same. Probably 90% of vtubers are just streamers who wanted a little guy in the corner instead of a face cam called Indy vtubers. Companies are kind of different because they hire vtubers with the promise that they get an initial fan base that comes with the company (company fanbases are especially strong in Japan), connections for any projects the vtuber might want to do (merch, songs, collabs), and the model and IP of the vtuber. In return, the company gets a cut of all donations/subs the vtuber gets. On top of that, if/when the vtubers leaves the corporation, they have to give up their model, channel, etc. because the corporation owns the copyright. However, Matara is in a different kind of corporation called Vshojo. The vtubers own their IPs and the company acts more like a management firm rather than your standard vtuber corporation.
I love that Badda's profile thing is just a Croagunk cosplaying Sans.
omg, another member of Badger's Mob. this has to be good
Momotopolis standa and Matara lives!
*STOMP STOMP*
"The Momo's still stand."
The Momo's will forever stand.
Another great stream. Bada and heavenly are a great comedic duo. Arielle has an awesome laugh. Glad you're enjoying the subathon.
Wait hold up is that THE BADDA ? Heavenly father's husband ?
Heavenly Father, Badda, and Arielle this is going to be good
Matara's new model is wild!
I imagine Gary was confused by a bunch of followers going to his channel.
