My thoughts are: corporations are beholden to their shareholders, like the billionaire/millionaire class, and if these folks are in favor of Project 2025, well, there's the reason why the media doesn't challenge.
Mental health. The real policy positions he seems to support. His convictions. His remaining indictments. The Epstein papers. The signs he is rapidly declining mentally. His refusal to show medical records. Project 2025 as an end to democracy in America. Nothing to see here. Old news.
The media actually does talk about Trump's mental health, just not enough in written media. MSNBC has been discussing his mental health literally for years, at least as far back as 2019, but more repetitively and extensively since 2020. Trump's niece, Mary, a clinical psychologist has been a frequent guest discussing this on MSNBC since 2020. Since George Conway has delved deep into the world of sociopathy pertaining to Trump - about 2 years now, he has been a repeated guest highlighting Trump's psychopathy. Plus many of the hosts have discussed this amongst themselves and other guests.
CNN used to do the same up until the right wing takeover in 2021, often also having Mary Trump as a guest, but John Malone - chairman of Warner/Discovery - his CEO David Zaslav and [formerly] Chris Licht, head of CNN before he was fired - all of whom are Republicans/Libertarians connected with Rupert Murdoch and who have stated they like/associated with Fox and do not the Democrats back in office - purged nearly everyone who used to say negative things about Trump [actually, they were merely stating verified truths] so now they do not emphasize Trump's 'issues'.
I have read several articles in major media sources discussing Trump's psychological/mental 'issues', but not nearly enough, as they tend to normalize it and/or do not want to appear biased.
In other words, they aren't doing their jobs. Give us news, real news. I care nothing for any opinions by any "pundits" until they start truthfully doing their jobs. All the resources of MSM, and they can't tell us the truth.

Back in January, a friend and I speculated that Donold's final collapse would be towards the end of August.

The book "The Dangerous Case of Donald Trump" published in 2016 is written by a group of psychologists, psychiatrists, and other mental health professionals who say the same thing. Psychopathy explains every maladaptive behavior, every terrible impulse, and every distorted thought that comes out of his mouth. We have been trying to warn the public for 8 years now. I don't understand why it took this long to gain some steam.

I don't think the public as a whole realized how utterly worn down and exhausted we were from all the dark, vitriolic, vengeful rhetoric of Trump and his cohorts until someone like Walz came along and just lit up the room, as it were. He personifies joy, hope, exuberance and a unity that was so desperately needed. Even if you don't agree with all of his policies, his genuine regard and empathy for others is palpable. He is a genuinely decent man and I think Kamala knew this and is why she chose him over Shapiro, who was the presumptive pick. She talked of being unburdened and she knew the nation needed to be unburdened from the weight of so much darkness and divisiveness, so picking Walz was the absolute correct choice.
