Thank you for all the wonderful tips. I’m glad my nephew introduced me to your channel. What a blessing! I agree about the music. Sometimes you’re watching a video and you don’t know if the person put the music loud or if TH-cam did it to drown out the content or what. Sometimes you can’t hear what’s being said. Thank you for all the information you give us. Blessings.
Excellent video, Zdenka! I have FIlmora and just use the basics but, with your help, I've now learned some powerful tricks that will help my editing process go more smoothly! Thanks!
Great tips, Zdenka. Especially sound is something I find very important. Once my volume levels have been adjusted in the editor, I export all my audio in one single track and get it through Wavelabs to master it and set the levels to TH-cam loudness standards. A slight bit of compression here and there and some air on top make the soundtrack (vocals and bg music) sound more steady and "radio worthy" always on the same decibel levels. Okay, maybe not for absolute beginners, but it's not a very complicated thing to do and the results are consistent.
Thank you so much for this video. I'm trying to take my first steps into learning how to edit video, and I chose filmora because I thought it was good for someone like me who knows nothing. Your tips are very helpful!!❤
I’m glad that the video helped. This is software is a good choice. I find it very simple. Just take every step a time learn at one thing once you feel comfortable move on…. Before you know it you will be a pro
I’m glad that this video helped. At the beginning, every software might feel a little bit difficult but once you try some more, it will come very easy for you.
Sister Zdenka! Thanks monstrously much for extremely helpful video discussion! I am loving your channel. Btw, what is country of origin? You have delightful and beautiful Slavic accent! 🙏🏽💛
I have been using Filmora since late 2018. I mostly shoot and edit drone footage with it. I consider myself fairly capable with the app. (I also, on occasion, will switch to DaVinci Resolve as I like the smoother transitions it offers). I don't really need a lot of AI generated effects, as I feel it would take away from the content. But I was not aware of the AI Masking capability. Not needed very often, but on occasion I will use ground cameras to help a story along. AI Masking would allow me to remove things that would be otherwise distracting. Thanks for the tip.
Hi Zdenka, I'm new to editing and considering purchasing Filmora for its light weight and beginner friendly interface. But my main reason is the ability to desqueeze and edit anamorphic footage, hopefully quite easy. I can't seem to find much help with this anywhere using Filmora, can you help please?? Thank you!
I know this isn’t directly related to this video but if anyone would know you would! Is there a way to have the play head move with my cursor and not just while clicking? In iMovie, CapCut and FCP I am able to do this but in Fillmora I can not figure it out. TIA!
It is Razer Blade 15 gaming laptop. I used desktop before but I need to be able to take the computer with me anywhere I go. This laptop it’s fast. The only thing I don’t like about it is that the fans are loud.
@@ZdenkaDarula thank you! Yes, I would love to buy one as well, but I would prefer if Razer made it possible to choose the keyboard layout (Portuguese). It seems Apple is the only one giving us that option when ordering online, where I live.
@@andresalgadomarquesI use the Apple MacBook Pro 14”, the new M3 version. It’s absolutely quiet, snappy and works great unplugged for many hours without loosing its punch. The most obvious shortcomings are price and its ability to run graphic intense games.

you sound like you can handle Premiere Pro and Davinci Resolve , both have good audio tools, but I use Adobe Audition with Premiere, I listen to the entire clip , as I go I select the pops, and noise and silence them, when you have silence breaks and cut out the audio timeline it is perfect for those cut-aways.. you can work just as fast or faster in the pro programs
You just made me realize that I should check out the Adobe audition. Thank you so much much. I mostly edit in Premier Pro and do everything manually for audio. Lately, though, I’m thinking that I don’t even need premier anymore. For the stuff I use it’s just kind of waste of money for me
Hello! I hope you are open to help me with the following problem i have as Filmore their support is aweful and they constantly come with basic things that does not solve my deeper problems. So, when i turn on the AI Chroma Key so that i can see the background on my greenscreen, it makes my myself look very weird having a weird flaming aura around me on my shoulders and all. It was not always like this, but it also seems like it is a bit mroe snowy. They constantly get worse and worse it feels. Maybe you know about this issue. Also the editing part of the Tolerance and all did not work same like the other bars. I don't know what have caused this problem. I hope you can help me out!
Wondershare Filmora has engaged in unscrupulous business practices.... many years back i purchased 2 lifetime licenses to 2 different Wondershare products and a few years back they decided they would NO LONGER HONOR THIER OWN LIFETIME LICENSING to those products in favor of monthly rental fees. thats the kind of company Wondershare is.
Yeah, money doesn't stink, right? Just look at the history of Daniel Batal and a lot will become clear. You cannot compare this with Adobe, who did not sell a lifetime license. You can now earn through Filmora, but it could be the downfall of your reputation. 💸@ZdenkaDarula

I don’t know the answer but I’ll look into it
If you double-click on a video track in the timeline the play-head will follow the cursor.

I think Filmora got a bad rap from the recent license debacle BUT their actual license fee is very cheap so in some ways, it was unfair to them.
I know…. It was like that with Adobe too once they switched to subscription model..
