For sure, it was a step in the right direction, but there's much more we'd love to see balanced! Including further refinement to the +reload crossbows.
Do you play anything else or just DOE. Great game I should play it more. I have a massive library of quest games and never stick with one game. My backlog is ridiculous😂
I mainly play DoE because it's definitely my favorite, but I've played dozens of other quest games. I'm the type of gamer that finds a game they love and sticks with it unless something better comes out. Racket Club might be one of my other favorites right now because I'm a big tennis and racket sport athlete. I also try to get friends and family to try VR, so I tend to play whatever they might express interest in too. Puzzling Places is one of those games recently, the colocation mixed reality co-op in that game is amazing and I can't wait to see other games implement it as well as they do. I totally understand the backlog too though, there are a few games I've bought and haven't played along with plenty on my wishlist.
The one thing that kills this game is throwing weapons. Coming from asgards wrath 2 to this kind of stinks. It doesnt have enough velocity and pulling it back is a frustrating exercise. Otherwise pretty cool game.
Fair enough. Not sure if you've thrown the daggers yet, but they can be thrown much faster than the other weapons (swords btw are not throwable in this game). I actually love the throwing in this game much more than Asgard's Wrath 2 though because this game feels more realistic. Obviously, AW2 was meant to give you more of a godlike feel, so just tossing the weapon jolts it to it's target like Thor's Hammer. I would argue that there shouldn't even be as much aim assist as there is now when throwing in this game (or at least make that assist optional). Hitting targets in this game is so much more satisfying because it's difficult opposed to AW2 where it is still satisfying, but I know that it's easy, so it's not quite as satisfying. I would love to see a weapon specifically designed to be thrown like the weapons in AW2 though.
I think the rebalance was a good thing. They need to let us hold more than 3 power gems to make staffs more balanced imo.

Yes 3 sucks or they could let em last longer as well
TALK IN YOUR MIC, DONT MUFFLE IT WITH YER BURNT PAN!
Yeah I wish the Quest 3 mic was a little louder too.

Oh nice, I was looking forward to this 😂
This games one of the best on quest 2. 👏
So true and the Quest 3!

Right, realistic physics in an immersive dungeon crawler is hardly a complaint
@@LILAC_CHAOS true, that’s more of a compliment to the game.
Lol, yeah no more melee crossbow. They still make good bat swatters though.
Idk, I’d say they can still melee, just not quite as well as pre patch.
