Lilac is actually a kind of flower where it’s scent isn’t captured well in alcohol like most perfumes. It’s best captured in fats/oils. So, it’s unlikely to find a spray perfume with REAL lilac in it, unless it’s made from the distillate water. If you want perfume with real lilac look for “lilac enfleurage” it’s a palmade like perfume that rubs on the skin

Hello James, I think Chamy Elysses might be too floral for you (but who knows?!) and Bud perfumes is quite vintage so you might like it. Although those two layered together would be very beautiful. Indeed, one is rather a day and another a night time option💜
This is Literally the first time I am hearing of Lilac in perfumery. I have not even smelled the flower to my knowledge, but I just sprayed Hummingbird and if Lilac smells like a purple flower, I definitely get it. Quite a complex scent actually. Thanks🙏
Hummingbird is not the realistic take on lilac it's just a part of the party! If you want to know how it really smells than try White lilac or Lilas exquisi

Love Chloe is discontinued, but there's a good clone by Pull&Bear. And I have white lilac blossoming in my garden right now and it doesn't smell at all. I think white lilac is a note which, similarly to poppy, is what a perfumer imagines it to be, not what it really is

Thank you for a great video, I learned a lot and love your personality. I would love to try the two DSH perfumes you mentioned but where do you order them? In Belgium they are hard to find. I would love to try Afrodite as well, really love the Terenzi creations. My favourite old school, Belle Époque style and in my ‘all time ‘ top 5 is Opardu by Puredistance. You should really try it! It”s soapy, peppery, has a fascinating evolution and is extremely long lasting. My last discovery is Seringa blanc from Luciano Ferrero, a combo with many other flowers but it feels like walking in a white lilac tree. it’s absolutely stunning. I also like a lilac a day by Vilhelm perfumes and have Lilac Love by Amouage which is only about lilac in the opening but mostly a cocoa gourmand, an Angel on a diet to me. I have Vacances by Patou too, as a reference classic, but it’s not so much my style, it’s not peppery and mysterious enough, but still it’s very nice. Love to see your favourite ricepowders and also hyacinth favourites, because they are very close to lilac, that would be interesting too. And we say “Aphroditee” with a long I, an I like “I” am going to the store:-). And btw I heard that Lilac Path by Aerin is the most realistic also. Demeter also has a lilac scent but I haven’t tried either. I want to try that Sultan Pasha!
As I did my research I saw lilac path but I remember when I tried this line this perfume doesn'T stand out to me and on fragrantica I saw that jasmine in there is very prominant and I am very careful with jasmine, wouldn't blind buy a jasmine perfume for example (with a few brands exceptions) so since I had no money to blind buy it anyway I passed. But many people recommend it so I want to smell it again

this list is great, and i know its not a perfume but eu de toilet but i would mention Yves Rochers Lilac toilet water as a cheaper choice.

Currently I am loving Trussardi's My Name. It has a strong lilac note with an interesting warm powdery twist.

As far as I remember it's a very beautiful almost rainy lilac scent...maybe try Bottega Veneta but it might be even more expensive
