hi i have the colorvu 8mp It works really well during the day capturing reg plates but at night they all have a white glare and does not read any at all, do you know how to solve it?

Looks great but can the white light come on solid for 60 seconds and then turn off like the previous model did when it detected a human or car instead of being always on etc?

Very nice videos. I'm hesitating between this model and the model without speaker ( LU ). With this model ( DS-2CD2347G2-LSU/SL ), is it possible to configure it without alarm speaker and just use the speaker in life time if needed ?

Can you show night time humanoid and especially vehicle capture performance, gen 1 had huge issues, I believe gen2 still has- blur, plates not readable...

Live guard fw was too buggy, kept making my ds7616ni 16 port randomly reboot every few min. Which is a shame as I would like to easily disable all the noise the cameras make at times

Perhaps it was an issue with the firmware. I would definitely try the latest version as it has been stable for a while now.

Hi, does the LiveGuard function depend on the camera or the NVR? i.e. it must be activated by which of the two?

What's the approx frequency of the strobe on the fastest setting? Something like 10-15 flashes/second would be disorientating and an effective deterrent.

Hi mate……great video…..whats the best bang for buck camera in your opinion for home security ?…..im doing a new house build but lost with all the different models out there? Do i go 8mp or stick to 6mp?….is there any models out there that allow me to talk through the camera real time??….appreciate any advice you may be able to provide

You can talk through this camera and I reckon its the best option for most people. This or the acusense g2 with mic and speaker.

You can, but it has to be done on an individual camera basis, which is not as convenient.

I don't get the excitement regarding software features. Better to install something like BlueIris and let it AI detect/alert from any video source of any vendor. And if image of this cam is not better than in a previous gen then there is no reason to pay extra for the new one.
What I don't like is a white led and a low 4MP resolution as for 2022.
