I loved how Casey is Frank Morris, one of the 3 who escaped Alcatraz along with the Anglin brothers. Frank was very intelligent (IQ 133) so that fits with Casey being smart.
Episode 5 really took this idea of a world without the TVA, made Loki the most important figure in the show, and proved to us all that he is who we need to trust.
I love how Episode 5 was about meeting all his friends so he could figure out his most basic reason why so he could learn to control the time-slipping.
mobius has 2 sons, one is irresponsable (like loki) and the other likes snakes (like thor) also the burnt toy that mobius picks up is literally a TVA agent :O
@MAC React, 0:54 Everyone at the TVA is removed from timelines--the Sacred Timeline, where every timeline, the Multiverse in all its glory, is the only place where time passes as we know it. Time usually doesn't pass at the TVA or at least not how we perceive it, which is what Mobius tried to explain to Loki last season. Still, I think time is passing because of the temporal radiation engulfing the area around the TVA which is where the TVA and the Citadel at the End of time sits and that would explain why HWR's body decade last episode and possibly why Loki is Time Slipping in the first place as he was sent back to the TVA when the temporal radiation was increasing. 1:28 We saw this in the first episode of season two =) 2:34 Notice they are on Branched Timelines. Timelines that have grown back! Pruned timelines are never really gone, and neither are the people from those timelines as we see here. We are meeting Loki's friends as they were before they worked for the TVA. They are growing with their timelines, living out the lives they did exactly the way it was before they left--everyone's story IS predetermined! Timelines are like body hair. you can shave them down, but the hair grows back in time, and that's what's happening with all these new branches in time. Once HWR took his eyes off the ball things started to get crazy real quick, and once Sylvie removed him... This is why HWR isolated himself (to keep watch over everything), and why he needed the TVA, to help him maintain the constant course corrections of time, Nexus Events, or Branched Timelines. Casey, Mobius, B15, OB, and everyone working at the TVA all came from Branched Timelines. While their timelines were gone, well, before Sylvie did what she did, HWR brought many of the people from those timelines to work at the TVA. With Multiverse and its numerous universes all making up the Sacred Timeline which is the past, present, and future all existing at once, HWR needed an army to help him maintain the bits of time he managed to save. 3:22 Casey is Frank Morris and the two guys with him are Clarence and John Anglin, the escapees from Alcatraz! =) 5:53 Everyone at the TVA kept a little of the personalities with them, even Casey--you just have to think back to season one. Do you remember his cart full of Infinity Stones, military metals of valor, and other rare memorabilia? I don't think the TVA cared for the things he took as they were useless to them, but Casey was still stealing stuff and while others might have had Infinity Stones and used them like paperweights as he said, he might have been lying to cover himself, as he might have thought he was found out. We'll never know, lol. 8:09 Loki's moving instantaneously across time and space--the Branched Timelines Loki's visiting 1962, 1994, 2014, and 2022 all exist at the same time. Like branches on a tree, they are all growing at different speeds and to different lengths, which is why some timelines are much further ahead in their stories than others. 8:39 I don't know if this is "a nice life." Mobius' wife left him. Her exit broke his family. His youngest is acting out stealing things and setting fires. Mobius is working 6 days a week, 9 to 5 trying to hold things down, and because he's not around things at home are getting worse =/ 9:30 See? Branches are growing at different speeds. What was minutes for Loki was months for OB. 9:55 This would explain why HWR erased their memories, to make it easier on all of them--we shouldn't overlook the fact that he apologized after ordering Miss Minutes to erase their memories, and he meant it. 10:50 Because that's what Casey does, lol, he's a thief--he stole the Infinity Stones last season, and I'm sticking to that belief! 15:06 2012 Loki never got to experience Infinity War and Thanos' snap, and this moment lets him feel what that moment felt like for every one that survived it. 16:14 The "Who" are Loki's friends. Loki doesn't want to be alone, and the people he cares most about, the people he's fighting for, are his friends, the source of his power =) Thor's power is Asgard, and Loki's power is his friends, nice! 16:18 Loki went back to the moment everything fell apart. I can't wait to see your reaction to the finale. You are in for a treat!!!!!
Remember when Casey had that desk drawer full of Infinity Stones and other bric-a-brac? It looks like he's always been a collector of items that do not belong to him.
It is not that Frank doesn’t remember Loki, he is just meeting him before he was given his TVA identity of Casey. Möbius, B-15 and OB as well. Sylvie is Loki and does not count as she was not working for the TVA so she was not under He Who Remains’ influence.
It’s crazy to think that this episode was re-written from scratch fairly last minute over the course of one weekend after Feige nixed the original plan for what would happen in it. Ended up being one of the best episodes of the season.
I think Kang only took Humans for the tva because he knows Humans the best, I remember Mobius mentioning that they'd pruned all sorts of aliens before. IIRC the Tva is 'outside' the universe, outside of time so there should be no way of finding it without a tenp pad. I loved The Mist, it really does have the most devastating ending i have ever seen. I watched it in a cinema with friends but only five other audience members. My friends and I started yelling NO! when we heard the noise coming and then when the rest of the audience figured out they joined in to yell NO! with us. It was such a good film.
I'm saying this now, When the new phase of Marvel films come out real fans will have too fist fight the negative before they're seen. For those who aren't fans ...leave the real ones alone . People today rather have vinegar than milk, The new Capt America will show Marvel as it was as is... Shang Chi, HULK, Thor have a fight coming... Nuff Said

Loki, an Asgardian/Frost Giant, is an alien working at the TVA.

You guys are sooooo cute! I love seeing you both come to the same conclusions I do! Just want to hug you both!! 🤗🤗
