- New camp life is here as we go insdie training camp with #shakurstevenson O'Shaquie Foster and #keyshawndavis as they all prepare for their upcoming fights.
Shakur Stevenson will make the inaugural defense of his WBC lightweight world championship against Armenian-born German Olympian Artem Harutyunyan on Saturday, July 6, at Prudential Center in his hometown of Newark, New Jersey.
In the co-feature, O’Shaquie Foster will defend his WBC junior lightweight world title against Brazilian Olympic gold medalist and three-time world title challenger Robson Conceição.
In the 10-round lightweight televised opener, Keyshawn Davis will take on Mexican veteran Miguel Madueño.
Stevenson-Harutyunyan, Foster-Conceição, and Davis-Madueño will be broadcast live on ESPN, ESPN, Deportes and ESPN+ at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT.

No one has ever questioned the skills of Shakur. He is very skilled given the degree of talent he has faced. He has never faced an elite fighter. The one time he faced someone near elite his true colors showed. I don’t wanna hear about no injury because he didn’t seem injured that whole fighting camp leading up to DLS fight. He fought the smartest way he knew how but it wasn’t entertaining and it made him seem scared to be hit. I think Shakur is a top guy for sure but he isn’t battle tested. To a lot of fans including myself the only way to gain that respect back would be to rematch Edwin. If he wasn’t afraid of his skill set that would be happening. Shakur likes to fight dudes he knows his skills are far beyond. Edwin closely matched his foot work and speed, outmatched him in power. CRAZY HOW SO MANY PPL SCREAM FOR TANK TO REMATCH PITBULL WHO HE CLEARLY BEAT BUT SHAKUR DOESNT HAVE TO REMATCH DE LOS SANTOS TO GAIN RESPECT BACK.
