- A new leak shows that valve is cooking up a massive new update for their anti-cheat to help detect closet cheaters and legit hackers!
Cheaters Profile: steamcommunity...
this is not an closet cheater hes obviously cheating hes not even trying to hide it..
dont think hes good enough to understand that hes being super obvious to more experienced players xD
Yup hella obvious yet streamers always want to make it controversial. Lame
Yea that's deff it. You could even tell sometimes he'll forget to take out his rifle and hold the angle like he's supposed and then catch himself doing it and quick swap back. @@Joegengstah
@@TheCivanina True that. Cheaters will often have their knives out despite nobody having cleared the angles. And the way he never peaks but somehow on the fly makes up grenades to bounce against walls to then hit enemies lmao. You can almost hear his tiny cheater braincell buzzing trying to line it up perfectly to where they are standing :D
@@Joegengstah lmfao the grenades were heinous. If I did an overwatch on this guy I honestly might have convicted him on his blatant grenade usage alone.
another very obvious tell is his control of areas of the map, he knows exactly how safe he is at any given moment, and his game sense is so wrecked from cheating that he doesn't even remember how to hold positions naturally
Obvious tell besides the wallhacks you can clearly tell he's using. Dudes literally stressing so hard trying to hide it. Also when he hits a "sick shot" and shakes his mouse, that really gets me, what a loser.
Yep, that's always the biggest getaway. Even people who were at least decent/'good' at the game before cheating, their map awareness and game sense literally atrophies and fatigues from non use, to the point where they forget how to play a fps game normally. Same with EfT cheaters, Rust cheaters,e tc. They will just casually walk around corners in firefights instead of carefully peaking/checking because their ESP overlay shows that it's clear, for example. They think they're being natural but it's so obvious to anyone with a brain when a guy with 5000 hours in rust or a level 55 guy in eft for example just casually walks around without ever checking corners or angles.
the faceit dudes that had to review matches for cheaters said that often cheaters with walls would often not go into cover when reloading and thats a dead giveaway, Holding a site/angle and reloading without going into cover
@@GGGmod1 Exactly. They literally forget that they are supposed to pretend that they CAN'T see everything. Just casually reloading out in the open in cs sounds about right. I've seen some of the CSGO overwatch youtube vids many years ago and so often eg if the suspect is on A and the enemy team plants on B, the cheater will casually beeline straight for B, they don't check a single corner or angle and conveniently find the safest way to run directly into the site. But they then check the right corners for the enemies and kill them with some totally epic reaction times.
Anyone else remember the CSGO forums where all the trolls would claim Valve was doing SO MUCH to combat cheaters? This was like 10 years ago...
10 years before that we had punkbuster
cat and mouse game, if you make a lot of money from a cheat your not going to just give that up because a update broke your cheat you fix it and keep on going. and with most games about 2% of the players cheat, more in CS2 say 5% but 5% of 1m+ players is a lot of people that cheat so you cant say they have not been trying to fix it. its just that there are a lot off cheat makers but i bet there are less people working on the anti cheat so yes its not the best but have you played other games like BF1/4/5 all the cod games? they have a lot more cheaters and BF games don't even have the player count of CS2 but you find 5/6 in every server.
@@Muddy.Teabagger In cs2 it's only about 0.8%. not 5%.
Wrong lol. If you fall into low trust factor games, you'll find the large percentage of hackers. 0.8% would be an achievement for even the best anticheats out there lmao, let alone cs2 with basically none @@stel9178
@@stel9178 If we knew the answer, the answer would be 0%. Since the only ones who can know that for sure is Valve, and if they knew who was cheating to count out the %, they know who to ban. The amount of cheaters in any game is unknown.
8:41 gave it away instantly, he has an aimbot that doesnt care about walls being in the way. Most likely an external cheat like Ekknod, that cheat does this type of thing where it flicks towards people through walls exactly in this way.
In my opionion the savest way to expose a cheater is when you look at their behavior. The wall hacker has an information surplus which he can't hide. He won't invest as much time into peaking where nobody is hiding. On the other hand he uses more time for spots where an enemy is.
Allone using this as a statistical method you can probably exclude over 95% of the legit players (on higher elo even more).
Yes and no. If you have someone toggling on and off, it makes it tougher to determine outright however, the rounds where they play "amazing", usually you can tell if they are cheating outright due to said behavior.
I've had multiple cheaters do this shit where they are blatant some rounds and then throw other rounds.
Also at this point, I would guestimate that upwards 30-40% of the NA Premier Leaderboards are filled with cheaters.
I haven't had a clean game in so long, I've taken a couple week break from grinding. Was stuck at 20500 due to cheaters.
@@duckyHsGaming I would rather cheaters feel the need to toggle on and off to not get banned, rather than just blatantly cheating all game with no ban
@@duckyHsGaming yeah, that was a very common scenario in csgo: first they cheat until they have only a few rounds left to win, and then they turn off cheats and lose many rounds in a row to make it not seem so blatant, I guess that's how they tried to not be suspected in overwatch.
guide on how to cheat without being found out xdddddd
this dude has mouse1 bound to a 0.1 fov and wallhacks, he's trying really hard to hide it, but the way he walks towards and away from people gives it away. his timing is to good.
That aint 0.1 more 1-2 fov which is standard settings for legit cheating. He just has silent aimbot which means his bullets can go anywhere in his aimbot fov without needing to flick his camera. So if he had 10fov he could shoot your feet and the bullet would go into your chest/head if he wanted and his camera wouldnt flick at all I dont believe.
@@User-kq3od basically what I mean by 0.1 is it will only 'lock on' if you are aimed at his head and the bullet will register. They used to do this way back in the day of 1.6 hacks.
@@dataset_cs Not at all man, this is just 1-2 fov silent aim, with the AWP he has multiple bone targets selected Head/chest or head, neck, upper chest, lower chest
As long as any of these are in his aimbot fov the bullet will magically go to its target even if his crosshair isnt even on the player but the target bone is in his aimbot fov. His aimbot seems to prefer head or higher up targets too which makes it more obvious by a mile.
There is no flicking involved in this.
@@User-kq3od nah this man doesnt use anything beside wallhack lmao, 100% not using p2c so im a little bit skeptic that he even got aimbot
@@evan6049 Listen, Ive used every kind of cheat you can imagine, hes using silent aim on a low fov. I dont know how you cant tell, at one point hes literally aiming at a wall, shoots, theres no flick movement and he hits a headshot. Another the enemies shoulder is visible but his head is behind a wall, he shoots the shoulder, theres no flick but he hits the head with no wallbang.
Hes using silent aim, even if you could flick like that you would miss SOMETIMES but he doesnt.
fun fact, due to how subtick works you don't actually see the shot position in the demo or even while spectating. pSilent (aka shooting in a different direction than you're aiming) is back in cs2. This happens because when spectating you see the normal view angles (the ones that update once per tick) but when shooting it uses the subtick angles (aka the ones that update every frame). nospread is often used in combination with pSilent to hide the fact that to make it work you're flicking like 30 degrees in a "random" (calculated but random-looking) direction but it can be used without spread compensation as well.
Also the new anti-nospread check they added in its current form is utterly useless because you can just simulate the check yourself in the cheat before shooting and pick a different angle if it counts as "sus". So it basically does nothing to stop the current nospread
@@jeffd5 even if somehow that's his natural aim, the guy was blatantly walling anyway.
@@jeffd5 he was very much cheating jeff
Your explanation incorrectly identifies subtick as a per-frame update; when subtick in actuality is a timestamped micropacket. That alone tells me you're talking nonsense.
The most obvious example of how you're speaking nonsense; 5:43 You can clearly see the mouse end position above the head, starting at the chest. This was an instantaneous, tool assisted flick.
@@D-Vinko idk what you're trying to tell me, but I have been developing a cheat since the start of the beta and spent dozens of hours reverse engineering both the input system and how the packets are assembled. Sorry to disappoint you but I trust the code and not what some stranger tells me. My comment wasn't specifically addressing the video but describing the general idea.
Yes, you are right - nonetheless the hs rate with awp is TOO consistent as this wont proof aim assistance. But - Specs shouldnt focus on "another hs" .. you can see - CLEARLY - within 2 minutes this guy is walling. And as a result - it doesnt matter how he is hacking, every kind, wether aiming or walling need to be punished.
I could tell from the first clip, he plays patient passive and just waits for the peak, and if the enemy falls back he knows exactly when to be aggressive and take map control with no contest. The scenerio happens 95% of the time and perfect utility use is the cherry on top.
You see how he aim and move you can tell he dont have More than 100hours on the game 😂
Man I have been playing against these kinds of players since CS2 dropped for the public. Like how can a guy who has zero awareness frag out so much?
I agree, I suspect he has walls. He isn't caught off guard and reacting, he is always premeditative.
It's obvious cheat lol. The fact that the vast majority of the community can't instantly tell he's a terrible player with wh and aimbot explains why this game is full of cheaters.
@@cerealhit555True. After the First 4 min of the video I would have skipped the rest of the case, cause it was beyond a reasonable doubt at that point.
I wonder how any sane player would think that he is clean 😅
@@cerealhit555 i see a lot of players that think legit players are hacking too tho, i have a 22k friend that is legit and people think hes hacking a lot. its so hard for a lot of people to know whos hacking or not, especially since hacks have gotten so good at making people still look legit.
@@cerealhit555 Well that's what I meant. I could tell before his first kill because his movement was so awkward.
lmfao as a closet cheater myself who has a high value prime account. we would NEVER use either no spread OR magic bullet (both of which are considered rage features and one of which has already been patched by valve)

Great video.
I'll just keep waiting until I actually see the anticheat do something.
I've always wondered, working anti cheat is not a thing of impossible (Faceit, ESEA, Valorant, etc.) , and Valve cannot get it working for more than 20 years...?
I'm lucky to play in the EU server where there are less blatant cheater, the same cannot be said for the Asian server in general, you literally have 80% chance to meet a cheater

When you reckon valve will address the broken greif report spamming system? Just got banned for greifing after a 2 week break, playing in a 5 stack.
Maybe dont be the 6th player in a team?
@@lullebulle2 Its okay, ill just have to log onto another account and smurf and ruin other peoples experience because valve ruins mine with stupid greifing bans.
@@ThatOneSloth it may be this attitude that got you banned for griefing
@@nexuhs. yeah not making a great case for himself lmao
@@nexuhs. Being realistic? Smurfing is not enjoyable for me, neither will it be enjoyable for the people i play against until im back at 20k+ elo.
It would actually make more sense for me to get reported on a smurf and banned compared to playing on my main account with friends.
Tell me how I never caught one greifing ban on csgo, in over 2500 hours, but within under 150 hours of cs2 i have caught 2 bans (1 day and now 2 days).
Did i just randomly turn toxic on cs2? While playing with friends?
This aged like milk xd
3 months after this being uploaded. Game was tied up 9-9, someone on my team was toxic, guy on the other team spin botted with an auto sniper and the game was over 5 minutes after. W game W anti cheat
Question now is how many years we have to wait for it.
I appreciate you looking into this for me agora and Lazlo m8. I'm Sinep. Good video as always mate.
Cheater caught = 1
Cheater Banned = 0
Just to point out if you'd like to know, invasive anti-cheats are literally useless when you support Linux because Linux is a free and open source kernel and so you can just modify the kernel to lie if someone makes a kernel level anti-cheat. (it wouldn't really even be that trivial so long as you know how the kernel works, which takes nothing but time to learn) This means any kernel level anti-cheat would validate cheaters on Linux, this is why invasive anti-cheats, despite all supporting Linux, don't have almost any games that will support Linux even in Proton because if they allow it, the anti-cheat can be even more trivially defeated. Granted I think that's a stupid solution to the problem anyway, never banning anyone and instead segregating them from the rest of the community with extremely toxic players would be more effective and scalable, but either way Valve will never support kernel level anti-cheat so long as they support Linux, I'm also fairly certain that Gabe despises rootkiting people's systems just to protect the game, seems like Valve's opposition to kernel level anti-cheat is also a principled stance.
I doubt Linux has much to do with this decision; almost all cheaters use Windows anyway (granted, if cheating on Windows became impossible, that might quickly change).
I'm glad that Valve does not go the rootkit route with their anti-cheat, it's a bad solution for various reasons and still does not prevent cheating (see Valorant), and I think Valve understands that. Also, they're still working on their AI-based detection system that (probably) just needs time to get better.
@@andwoe1752 I think Linux is a big factor, but I'm fairly certain that Gabe by principal hates the idea too and it very well could be that being the biggest reason.
"Silent Aim" and "Magic Bullet" are a PLAGUE among Call of Duty streamers right now. It's absurd how many of those clowns are using those cheats.
You just can't have anti cheats on a free game, cheat makers have infinite free reign to experiment without any consequence of triggering a ban
It looked like his coordinator was sitting behind his back
😂😂
Last 4 game I lost against cheaters… best anti cheat ever
it’s super obvious as soon as he gets the m4. he has the fov set high and when he was trying to prefire the angle onto banana it keeps locking through the wall.
The body doesn't want to die even in a game so if you know where death is you play around it. He plays like a person that knows where death is at all times does things to play around it moves in ways to keep people on his screen. That's a big give away even if the person is good at hiding it it's hard to just let yourself die.
4:59 you can see his cap through the smoke
"recent leaks" is the last thing you want when reading about an updated anti cheat...
This looks something familiar to what siege had where they can always get a headshot even if not aimed at there, there is a cheat where is like a circle and depending where your crosshair is at on the upper chest, it will auto register as a headshot. Not sure if it is the same as siege but ive seen it happen and players that blatantly cheat on stream
He is walling and those who can't see are foolish. He keeps eyeballing players through walls come on dudes.
I’m at 15K ELO and the number 1 problem higher ELO players are suffering with are enemies who wall hack. Perfect prefires on players that have 0 game sense. It’s so obvious and yet VAC live doesn’t do shit to detect it
OG Cs had incendiary grenades if I recall
I just got 24 Hour griefing comp cooldown from casual. Mass report is now weaponized with griefing report. Not even in comp. Casual and not griefing.
This is not closet, this is blatant.
I'd honestly take an invasive anti cheat over this, because then I'm sure that there will be less cheaters :D
Ty for doing this for the community !
That guy made it too obvious with the nades and perfect utility
You can easily learn nades if you sat down and watched a few videos.
nah that apps nade he threw at the corner instead of deep. The molly were nowhere near line ups he was throwing most in spots where players were which were off angles. Did you even watch the video?@@stel9178
@stel9178 Yeah, but you don't learn how to throw them so that they land perfectly on people before even making contact with them. Tell me who you know that has almost a 100% success rate with grenades before even seeing people.
@@randomniem8313 Me. It's really not that hard to predict people once you know their location or if you prenade certain spots. i get nade damage in every match i play.
@stel9178 I literally said without making contact, rewatch the video, he SHOULDN'T know they're there for at least half of the nades in the video
They should add some IF statements to the VAC Live to fix it
IF spinning + killing enemy
Then allow VAC
This will prob reduce spinners by a lot.
Spinning alone shouldn't be enough to ban someone
Its like the guy frome faceit, rewiving the semi pro guy, and found him guilty of cheating. Cause he reloaded in the open, and always knew when to push banana.
Who really believes that cs2 will get a working anticheat soon believes in Santa clause aswell.
Thanks for talking about the new anti cheat for 2 minutes and then showing me an over watch of a blatant waller for 18 minutes
Am I the only one who can't wrap his head around the fact that even with walls those guys are below bot level?
Valve should just buy rights to the faceit anticheat, I can't fathom that looking at PC processes can be a privacy issue.
Its crazy how many times someone will move and he completely ignores any corners to follow them. And he doesn't check any corners after they have moved even when they were just in those corners. Its so obvious.
Watching this felt like that game KQLY played on inferno in ESWC 2013. Even the awp headshots are back.
I will say that it seems like some people just play in a way that spawns a lot of de-sync headshots. My friends often say that shots I take that headshot do not line up with their head ever on their screen. This happens sometimes when I play Valorant but seems to be far more common in CS2 and I wonder if the Algorithm will be able to tell the difference. I think it has to do with how people time their shots with their flicks, like how I almost always shoot right at the end of my flicks, and I flick for EVERY shot to some extent.
I notice that too about cs2. Random ass headshots sometimes
@@Joegengstah yup, I have super low sens (480 e-DPI), but flick crazy hard and will hit bullshit headahots
Normal people do not get 4/5 shots with awp as HS my dude, its not just about placement of his crosshair that just seals the deal.
@@lullebulle2 never argued that fam. He cheatin his butt off. It's just that CS2 makes it harder to see them micro-flicks
@@gizmoman2388 in csgo it was very rare to say "wow that didnt look like a headshot" unless you randomly had recoil from moving or falling etc
It’s sad, it’s really sad, I know how in feels. Back in the days in cs1.6 I had my own server and i was very careful banning anyone because didn’t want to scare away a real good players from my server…from my experience I’ll say one thing that always noticed about all cheaters is their movements..if a player always tops out the scoreboard but his movements doesn’t matching his score - he is 100% has some sort of cheats. But there was a case that I tracked a player over 1 month..because i wast sure he had the movements and aim but something to me was off..eventually i got him and he admitted on the forum. It was 14 years ago..i imagine how cheats are better and hard to detect today specially in talented hands.
This game is plagued with cheaters.
I've had some recent matches where the enemy team is trash, but can magically hit any shot with a deag consistently. People either don't know how to hide their hacks or they don't even care to anymore.
it looks like your game capture doesnt get all of the picture? some stuff at the sides are missing
the guys crosshair placement is a dead giveaway as well. Most people that run around looking at the ground cant hit shots like that
That dude has no clue how to play without cheats. His movement is garbage, especially that jump to balcony in second mid-zero strafing, just a basic jump. It's painfully obvious he's lacking experience big time. Even though he's probably deluded into thinking he's hiding it well, he's really not. His skill level is seriously lacking.
radar screen on other monitor since these types of people didn't even checks corner let alone the sites they just know where the enemies were
Nobody else concerned about the franatic movement of the flashbang at 7:54?
this aged really well:D:D
the first example of cheater, after every shot with the deagle he instantly reloads, like a type of player with that rating wouldn't make this noob mistake, because you can always be peaked by somebody else, but because he knew nobody is going to peak him he just reloaded comfortably, it sucks that there are so many cheaters and they are huge noobs.
He’s just too good for how bad he looks.
The fact that the cheaters suck so bad even with cheats they die to legit players😭
If you’re trying to not get banned you can’t just go bananas with it. Overwatch was the only reason people couldn’t blatantly cheat in CSGO 24/7.
Rotary93 here. Haha no way. Swagster on the enemy team changed his name to "X". I see why now

my best experience with cs2 was when i actually quit the game and started to play 1.6 again
Cheaters spend money on cases too, valve doesn’t care.
deagle on pistol is the only evidence ill ever need
My everyday matches always have one of that!
zuhn wont be happy with this video
Homeboy sounds like Zac Oyama from College Humor
Now this is PSilent
He is also useing aim lock, it looks very strange the awp shakes every time he switches to awp, that's not normal, has anyone else noticed this?
I don't think you know what closet cheaters look like since this definitely isn't one
What's funny to me is the movement, cheaters always move like bots or silvers. If they move like that they shouldn't be connecting all those headshots
So this cheater obviously has little to no knowledge of the map and the mechanics of counterstrike in general. Imagine this cheat being used by someone who has full knowledge of the map and mechanics. Nearly impossible to know if they’re cheating until they abuse it a little too much and people get suspicious. That’s how hard it is to detect a fucking cheater these days
2:30 what I don't get about it is, why is he trying to hide? 1. Overwatch is disabled, 2. he is terrible at hiding apparently because it's like his first round of cs and he absolutely doesn't know what he should do lmao
He has an headlock going that u can’t really see because of the switching of the weapons, seems like a macro
This is for the nospread exploit, not closet cheating
This will still not touch soft aim and wall hacks. For example soft aim aim assist for you but magic bullets and nospread change the bullet code to hit the player but if you play with softaim the game codes are the same and the rng and spread are the same but you flick and draging to the head with possible speed and movement. This update is honestly pointless to ban cheaters bc most of them closet cheats and those cant get detected for when the are not changing the bullets spread or change the bullet trajectory.
Probably would help a lot if they stopped banning cheaters and would only ever segregate them into their own toxic/cheater servers, they're already unlikely to voluntary create a new account without being forced to, and then you give them incentives, they'll almost certainly prefer to stick around, its not like they care who they actually play against, else HvH wouldn't exist.
No thanks. Steam wont ever see another cent from me
his POV hurts my eyes, it is clear for the HS he is hitting his way of opening angles and cross positioning are completely wrong, for someone who plays deagle as much as he did, to manage to actually perform you need to know AT LEAST how to keep your aim at head height at most times, but he only kept it somewhat there when someone was coming, that by itself could be a believable proof of wall hack
Cheaters gonna be crying with the obvious again: "Got autobanned for no reason? The system is bugged!"
My friend got vac banned for fucking around and spinning couple weeks ago.
Bro you can't imagine how many cheaters I've seen and recorded and video reported to Volvo and they are still not banned. And I'm talking about rage cheaters in matchmaking...
Can we talk about Lazloh's ping tho? 😂
"vac will detect closet cheaters" and my guy is talking about magic bullet and nospread LMAO.
How can they update something that doesn't exist?
I played one time against this dude, 2 mounts ago, I reported his ass..
Hes still playin..
as far as i am concerned I am having a great experience in mm right now i think the ranking system is slowly sorting ranks out.
You're either naive to cheats or don't care, either way, 20k+ elo is horrible. Cheaters in most games, you have to demo review and know what to look for. Majority of the time it's ESP or low FOV aimbots.
My favorite is when the aimbot consistently locks on to the gun because it's the next entity picked up after character model death, and recoil control automatically directs the recoil at the gun for 2-3 bullets hitting it mid air as it's dropping.
Fun times.
@@duckyHsGaming Don't be so butthurt because I say I am having fun mkfer. You can see just by his movement and crosshair placement how bad this guy actually ist.
i think he might only have radar but wh is also probable
as ex legit hax user back in the days 2017,sometimes hiding ur behaviour while using wallhack is kinda hard honestly, as legit player, your behaviour and crosshair placement is the things that i should know in the first place, this player literally tried to legit as possible but it turned into blatantly lol, u can see the different movement with pros or cheater behaviour like map controll and etc 3:09 ,i rather to play without cheat lol except hvh
Put me on a VACATION
I am going to check his profile in a week to see if he got VAC banned, if not am giving up on this game.
Turn Xray off to correctly evaluate players.
If anything AnyBrain needs to be turned up. This is obviously a cheater
no spread / magic bullet are both rage cheats. Not commonly used. Not what closets do
you can see instantly that he is cheating because it looks like he has supernatural gamesense when he can barely control his character or actually aim or peek
and this guy never gonna get BAN :)
he is 100% cheating, I think the only way to prevent cheating is to have some sort of personal ID linked to your account that only Steam or Valve has access too, once linked to your account it can only ever be linked to 1 account permanently and if convicted of cheating, you're no longer able to play VAC secured servers or you are permanently banned from the game, this is the only way to truly prevent it but they wont do it because they want the money cheating brings in
ill believe it when I see the results
