      He also said to obey man's laws. Homelessness is the issue. Our government needs to spend money on them. Not the 20M illegals that are in five star hotels. Address those laws being broken.

    • @leeannkaiser2782
      @leeannkaiser2782 8 วันที่ผ่านมา +3

      @Jeep-Life he is actually saying to obey man’s laws in a general sense to the degree that the law is just. No man can keep the law, that’s why the law is like a mirror that shows us how dirty we are; however, conversely, we are to obey God and Scripture above all else and if the law contradicts, confuses, or goes against Gods word, then we are not to comply with it, but to comply with God’s word- not the law of man. Unjust laws are not justified; therefore, we are to expose them by bringing them into the light, and refuse to comply while standing on the word, teaching and sharing it with others in love, for loving correction, and pray to God for guidance in how to move or navigate the situation.

      I don’t either. I can’t understand what all this entails and why they won’t give the facts behind this. It’s difficult to understand, but if these homeless people are not lawbreakers and need a warm place to sleep, then I fail to understand why they won’t give mayor and judge target this place and not any other buildings. Why don’t they give people the entire background and the facts behind what’s going on? I thought maybe they’re handing out Bibles and tracts, something that now goes against hotels and motels in places that removed the Gideons Bibles because they are ‘insulting’ to Muslims and other anti Jesus people. Is there actually a fire code not being followed? Why would it be alright to operate if the place shut down during peak hours? It’s all too confusing.

    James 2:14-17, 14What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him? 15If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food, 16And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit? 17Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.

    Opinion: this is what the church should be. You are cutting into their federal funds the city gets for the homeless. They provide little services but collect big money and charge a high administration fees.

    Similar situation here in Louisiana. A ministry with a home for aging out foster youth has empty bedrooms that they cannot use because the residential home needs a sprinkler system to house more than three girls. I find this absurd. No other home in the neighborhood is required to have a sprinkler system. Why are these youth being required to have one? If they were roommates leasing the home they would not have this requirement! It’s so sad to think 3 more youth could be housed and mentored but the government steps in and says no.

    No matter what the situation is, they will have thousand of excuse for putting the homeless back on the street. They want no one to show compassion for those less fortunate. This story breaks my heart because I do believe those people hurt mentally and emotionally and with the proper care, many of them could make something out of themselves. Thank you Pastor, and don't give up. God Almighty is on your side and with him on your side, everything is possible. Many blessing are coming your way.. 🙏

Has anyone taken this to Ravek (Governor)? It’s a violation of freedom to worship by not keeping doors open. Take it to the Governor and president.

    It sounds like what he is doing is similar to the non-canon account of Abraham's Grove. The record was he planted a grove where travelers and wanderers could stop and rest on their journey, and get refreshed by drink and food being provided daily for any of these travelers. I always thoght that might be pleasing to God if every city provided such a kindness..
