There is nothing with being hospitable to help people the problem is if he is making his church a hideout for the illegal and directly interfering with the government of removing and deporting the illegal then you are in transgressing of serious law and has exposed yourself to whatever plays out. These are not ordinary times
There are hypocrites everywhere...Jesus will stand up fir him now
Soooo wronge how did peop.le in this country get so selfish and hard hearted
Greed and power always corrupts
Ironically, Jacksonville, Fl. Public libraries are open right now, and have been for over a week to anyone looking to get warm, and throughout the night
Is it private property? If so, they cannot impose this, PERIOD! They would be considered guests not homeless housing. (Private citizen armed volunteer security to keep all safe and city out). Has anyone taken this to Ravek (Governor)? It’s a violation of freedom to worship by not keeping doors open. Take it to the Governor and president.
It sounds like what he is doing is similar to the non-canon account of Abraham's Grove. The record was he planted a grove where travelers and wanderers could stop and rest on their journey, and get refreshed by drink and food being provided daily for any of these travelers. I always thoght that might be pleasing to God if every city provided such a kindness..
If your a 501(c)3 church, unfortunately you've contracted with the government who classifies you as a business by which these statutes and regs apply. Revoke your status and it will remove you as a business under their jurisdiction.
So the ordinance will protect you of dying by fire, but not by frost?
The church building is a CHURCH building. It's not a homeless shelter. If he wanted to build a homeless shelter, I'm sure the city would let him. But that building is not a homeless shelter. I stand by the city.
Another church gave this man a very large sum of money for legal fees, what did he do with it?
It is ridiculous what is the difference if the church was open 24 hrs for services.... It used to be when there was a disaster the church was able to house people
What about a city trying to prevent a person from helping others what a disgrace Instead of trying to stop him they should be helping him in being able to help others without any issues talking about bassackwards those city officials sounds more twisted than a football bat to me
