Why would you remove the option to see both your uploaded music and the youtube music catalogue as a single library. This was one of the stand out features of Google Play Music!
Yeah what the hell I used to start radio from uploaded content as well, and it would work fine.
I was also indignant at blocking this option on TH-cam Music. All of my playlists have been degraded because of that!
@@Rafaellrg Not to mention when they make a playlist (autoplay) YOU CANNOT DELETE a crappy song if you even look at it. NEVER GOES AWAY and I HATE THIS, will prob NEVER use it again

I now fully support TH-cam Music
This Feature was major factor of why i loved Google Play Music, the ability to upload my music library from my computer to the app, without need to plug in my phone to my computer and Bascally have to stuff my phone of music files, so with TH-cam Music I was worried the feature wouldn't be avaliable but now that it is i support YTM.
But only Google Music let me play on my smart speakers for free,
TH-cam Music refuses playback of bought/uploaded titles on smart speakers, without active YTM subscribtion.
I DON'T HAVE AN "UPLOAD MUSIC" OPTION!
I don't have another way to save this album damnit!
How do I add a song that is on my device files to playlist? These are songs that are bought elsewhere and not on youtube music.

Music you have uploaded can only be played by you (in your account) and other TH-cam Music users will not have access to your uploads.

Yes. It'll all be there, just search for the name of the video and it should pop up. If it's not there, make sure the category for the video is music.
It would be great to have a client software like for Google Music for uploading my library continuously.

Because they meant the personal music collection, just like a cloud storage for photos and videos, to free up space.
If you want to upload your own music publicly, you just need to upload your song as a regular video file to TH-cam.

Where is the "recently added" option for new uploaded music ? I upload an album and all i can see is my massive library transfered from Google Play in alphabetical order. Google Play Music used to have an automatic playlist for that, is there something similar that i don't see right now ? Thx.
without a fix for this it will become unmanageable to locate new songs uploaded... smh
And another big mistake. How it's possible to not allow to edit metadata? Very disappointed with this launch
Wait when you transferred from Google play did it put that music in the uploaded section on TH-cam music? Or do you have to do it over the computer like this video says in order to get it under uploads? Because apparently only music in the uploaded can be played in the background without ads, otherwise you have to pay for premium every month to listen to the music you already bought. I don't want to have to do that so I'm trying to figure this out.

Thanks for that. For some unknown reason it wasn’t letting me upload by the upload link but dragging and pasting worked. I had to upload an album that I had deleted because I needed to edit the song titles.
What happens if you get this: "You're signed in to an account that doesn't support uploading. To upload music, switch to your personal Google Account." I don't want to swich to another account I want to use this channel as I'm typing this in. How that be fixed?

Drag and drop isn't doing a thing and when I use the upload button it doesn't allow you to select either folders or multiple items meaning I'd have to upload every single song one by one!?

This is an incredibly dumb system. Why would I want to upload music from my phone to play it on my phone? Why can't it just access the music on my phone and not be streaming at all, like Google's music player used to? Dumb idea.

What to do when you used "free music" fom a 3 million subscribers channel and a few months latter that music its not free anymore and you start to receive srtikes?
I’m quite sure the tracks you upload using TH-cam music won’t get you strikes. Unless you’re asking a question unrelated to this video.
The only 100% free and safe music to use is from the TH-cam audio library. You can still monetise your videos without getting fear of a copyright strike. Never trust anywhere else that says their music is copyright free because it is you taking a risk by using it in your videos. There is a link to the TH-cam audio library in the description of all of my TH-cam gaming videos. I hope that this helps.

I've been working with music distributors to upload music for a while. Recently I switched to another distributor. My old music got on TH-cam music no problem, but my new music is not being added to TH-cam music at all, even after I upload them onto TH-cam (they are on all the other platforms such as Spotify, Apple Music etc.). I won't move until I can edit my uploads' metadata like in Google Play Music. It is a necessary feature for me. I also need the ability to download my music from my TH-cam Music (as files). If those two things are added I will 100% switch.

How do I upload from iTunes like I did with Google play? Is there a free version because I'm afraid I'll have to find a free version, if it was 0.99 cent a month I would agree but I'm already buying the music legally so I'm not gonna pay per month for this, also the app looks too chaotic, it just needs my music on the homepage in order of upload date and a play button like Google play

How do I get my music to media player so I can load onto a flash drive?
I have transfered my google play library to youtube music using the link I got. But all songs are not there. I have a playlist, and only 11 out of 19 songs are listed in TH-cam Music. Where is the rest? Can I transfer the songs manually song by song? I dont want to loose the songs.
My YT doesn't have "upload music". It's only 3 years later. It has YT music, but from there. hard to navigate, such as "no upload music.

I do as well. That's how I have accessed so much music on youtube. It's great that people can share their personal collections. I have found so much rare stuff that otherwise I may not even know existed or would never have found in music stores or shopping online. The whole point is to not only share out collections but also so that I can get rid of boxes and boxes of CD's and records.

The gotcha is now if you wish to download the music your already bought, for offline listening, that feature is ONLY AVAILABLE ON PREMIUM. Yes you read that right. You have to pay continually so you can download the music you already bought so you can listen to it without WiFi.

( PLEASE HELP ) major question ... so on the youtube music app all of my songs under " Videos " which anything from the actual youtube channel ... all of my song titles show up as " That NiLLa " ... on the youtube app.... so this is like on the youtube son the t.v..... I can tell its something that i mustv'e done on my end...because its spelled how i would spell it myself. is this under google ??? or youtube ?? ive tried contacting people and nobody respons through email over the years about it. I need to get this fixed because people look me up all the time....and its weird because its all the song titles. can someone please help me and let me know why this is doing it.... it has to be something i accidentally changed in a google setting under a nick name or something...but that wouldnt make sense because its the titles of the song. someone go to youtube music app and type in " Yak Nasty That NiLLa " and once i pop up click videos up top.... and you will see...everything is title " That NiLLa " but if you go to regular youtube... everything is titled properly. please help and thank you.
