To my Jewish friends who are just learning Hebrew, if a Mormon guy from Salt Lake City can learn Hebrew, anyone can. Enjoy the journey and relish every word. שבת שלום
I truly enjoyed your video. I am a christian but I also love the jewish faith. Thank you so much, I ordered your translation sheet and I can't wait to learn the prayers.
I'm so tickled you are on TH-cam. I have purchased several of your printed verses and the אב chart couple years ago. I have several books and courses on Hebrew language. I can unequivocally that your method of showing the correct pronunciation of Hebrew words is by far the BEST. In fact it is THE ONLY useful pronunciation guide out there, including all the very expensive Hebrew grammer books. So keep up the good work and I look forward to learning a lot of Hebrew from your youtube site.
Thanks for teaching on the shabbat blessing and recite the prayer correctly. The texts in the prayer reminds us of being grateful to g'd provision in our daily meal. Sounds melodic and rhyme. Will practice memorising the blessing prayer. Toda raba.
I used to go to a good friend's home for Passover and I actually can say the blessing over wine from memory, and almost get the bread blessing the rest have not mastered yet. This will help me. I love hearing and learning Hebrew.
Yay my Next Shabbat Shalom going to a Blessing 🙏 I can bless the Bread not so much the Wine as im recovering Alcoholic lol So i will Use Grape Juice 🙏 Shalom 🙏 God bless 🕊
Hi, I find the phrase (שהכל נהיה בדברן) particularly powerful as it sums up the entirety of all reality as is, was or ever shall be, i.e. that everything only exists and has its being in the word of God. We find this same Jewish insight reiterated in the testament of John's Gospel which opens with the famous lines: (בראשית היה הדבר והדבר היה עם האלוהים ואלוהים היה הדבר) Many thanks for your readings of these very beautiful traditional blessings.
Vielen Dank. Sehr schön gemacht. Ich mag diese Wort so gern hören. Irgendwie berühren sie etwas tief in meiner Seele. Mit deinem Video kann ich sie öfter hören, wissen was sie bedeuten und auch üben zu sprechen.
I worked in Israel for more than six ears and one of the things I like most of you jewish people is that you always say bracha for everything. That's why God always make you prosper in everything.
Thank you for all of your dedication and work! Your method of teaching Hebrew pronunciation is flawless and the in-text transliterations are extremely helpful. I love to find the places in the Catholic mass where I recognize the Hebrew origins. About 50 years ago I spent 3 years discerning between becoming Roman Catholic or Messianic Jew. It would seem I am a blend of both!

It is fortuitous that you bring out these prayers at this time Ayelet. Many in the gentile Christian churches have expressed interest in knowing them, mainly because of the series “The Chosen.” Have you seen any of that series?
Thank you for this video! Does pasta count as bread? I'm newly converting with my young son and trying to do the math on what I made; tonight is pasta with vegan pesto and challah.
Thanks Ayelet! In the scripture in Matthew 26 where it says Jesus blesses the bread (blesses God for the bread), would he have said this blessing? Or maybe used "Abba" in the blessing?
