with a little practice and excersizes most guys can hit both ranges...the hard part is transitioning between both smoothly...im a low baritone and on good days I can sing the alto and sometimes soprano parts of songs but the transitions are the hardest part trying to do them quickly and smoothly

I used to sing this to my nephew as a lullaby, but changed the chorus to "Caleb Alexander~" (his name), and though he's much older now, I still sometimes say his name like that to get him to smile. Lot of good memories to this song.

There's actually a lot of evidence that Albert is a horrible sailor. First he only woke up when the pirates had already bombarded and immobilized his ship, boarded them, reached his captain and then began to drown him. Then he's such a horrible navigator that he sailed directly into a six or seven hundred foot tall walrus, somehow unable to notice and consequently dodge the enormous animal. Then in the end he sailed into a thunderstorm in waters known to house giant octopi.

Ive got a voyage in 8 weeks. I know this is weird to bring up but having been in a wild life, not to the standard of Albert. Well, not yet. Ever since i was a wee boy i wanted to be a pirate. So Ive ventured this world, next country is Brazil! But this song gives me such peace. As an orphan growing up and reading treasure island and the oddssey and later Moby Dick. Just wanting to sail because without a family the sea has been my family for a long time and she is a leviathan. But i always find myself returning here before a voyage...
This was the first SPG video my brother showed me about a year ago and since then I have seen this hundreds of times but I have only just noticed that at around 3:55, The Jon says "Stop dancing Rabbit" :D
