Thats great mate. Just keep the BGA as a back up. Just like my long reach hedge trimmer, I'm glad I shifted to battery. The blower does use a lot more power than the hedge though, so make sure you get sufficient batteries. Keep me posted if you are liking it. 👍 😃
We have a tree lopper that praises stihls battery chainsaws. He uses a combination of petrol and battery but he said he absolutely loves how well the battery ones perform. Battery operated has come along way. They are fantastic if you are a contractor as they are quieter and they don't have the horrible fumes related to the engine one. Due to getting svere migraines from the smell of the fumes I would not get a contractor in with the petrol equipment any more and our old petrol whipper snipper sits in the shed now, we even tried a product that a guy said wasn't as fumey but it was still very smelly. The good thing is that at least you decided to look into this review.
Hi! Always enjoy your videos mate. Thanks! I have a KMA 135 multitool with an AP300s and I get a couple of hours with a hedge clipper attachment. Do you really only get 25 minutes runtime with the blower?
Hi Ben, I am currently looking for a blower for our property. Ours is more for getting rid of bush leave litter to reduce fuel. Does this blower have enough power for small twigs or small branches at a push? We have the back pack and could buy the larger blowers but I am not as strong as the boys and I would probably be the one using it. It looks like it would be about the same weight as the Stihl whipper snipper battery charged that I use.
Hi Apologies for the delayed response. Yes, this I believe would have plenty of grunt from your needs. I wouldn't recommend getting any small battery than the AP300 though, as blowers suck up the power. I have certainly loved shifting my blower from the BG86 to the BGA86. Much better. 😀
Old guy here and I'm tired of pulling on a cord. I will be buying one of these blowers very soon. Stihl has never let me down.
Hi Robert
Having a battery blower is far easier on the body. Just pull it out and go. I don't really tough my BG86 anymore.
Have a great day 👍 😀
Think I may go for this one .. Thanks ❤😊
Glad my review was helpful. Mine has been great.
Thanks
Ben 😀
Hi, would you recommend BGA 100 over BGA 86..? what are the main differences between these two models..?
Hey Ben, excellent review mate think you sold me on the blower, been thinking about upgrading from my bga57 for awhile now

I'm still keen on the petrol version to be honest
Many people are still. Pieces of equipment have to fit in to what you do.
Have a great day 👍🏻🙂

Noise and confined spaces makes this cordless viable.

Good review. Do you use mix of Husky and Stihl? Looking to go into battery range thought would see what you find better
