Oh my gosh, you’ve single handingly gave me so much memories watching stuff like this, the slow pace is also really good too, makes it enjoyable, while still being (“epic”), the part with Luigi with the TNT caught me off guard, it was really funny giving me the same weird Luigi that were use too, thank you for making this!

Crossing over from plushes to pixilated blocks, the charm and impressive dedication crossed right over with it! :D It's always been amazing how you both have made the plushes so expressive, and now the Minecraft skins are still really expressive; I smiled a lot throughout the video! This is another amazing Goomzilla series that I hope we will see more of!
*SPOILERS, PLEASE WATCH THE VIDEO BEFORE READING*
It all starts with a worried cry from Luigi, waking Mario up in a frantic search to find out what happened to his brother. And he doesn't have to go far to find that a blocky pipe has appeared right in their backyard! Great idea using Mega Bloks as the Minecraft-like material in Mario's plush world! ^_^
Luigi calls again, and it's indeed coming from that pipe, so Mario does what he does best and inspects the pipe. That was really cool touch putting a Nether portal inside the frame of blocks! Of course, Mario isn't one to shy away from the unfamiliar!
I really liked the warping scene with all of the Minecraft objects flying by, it was kind of like a Wizard of Oz moment with cows flying by! XD And afterwards Mario takes his first step into Minecraft! Or, fall, I guess. Sort of like the beginning of Super Mario Bros. 2! I like how it was from 1-st person view, too. :) The way he looked around slowly and then jerkier while reacting to his environment really puts us in his shoes! And then the 3rd person forward view to see what Mario's form is in this strange, new world!
Now it's off to find Luigi! And Mario takes some time to take in his surroundings. I like how he reacts happily to seeing a large mushroom! It's something familiar! But he can't jump on it or eat it... Even when he brakes part of it and gets a small mushroom, he still can't eat it or use it the way he wants to. Nice sound effects to drive the point home!
And then there's another familiar sight that also proves to be different, at turtle, but it's no Koopa: Mario can't jump on it to get it's shell, even after attacking. Mario is bewildered... but he's not going to let it stop him. Even when he comes to a ravine. He still has his jumping skill, though he takes fall damage a bit easier than before.
As the sun sets, Mario catches a glimpse of someone in the woods, and it appears to be green, so he figures it must be Luigi... Only to get a nasty surprise when it turns out to be a Zombie! 'The horror...!' XD But then Luigi does come to the rescue! :D And it looks like he's already familiarized himself with the world! Mario takes a couple of hits, but then Luigi takes on the Zombie in an impressive battle for our favorite green plumber! ^_^ He's pretty good with a wooden sword!
Mario's happy to see Luigi, and Luigi even removes his helmet to show it really is him! :) Then Luigi guides Mario to his home that he built underground beneath a Mushroom. I love how Luigi's house is designed! Nice and neat with a green L on the wall and a green bed! And even a daisy! ^_^ I like how Mario is impressed: 'Too cool!'
Luigi gets right to work, cooking up some food to restore their health. The way you chose the camera angles and how Luigi and Mario move and interact is all very well done: Luigi turns and looks at Mario and nods while the food is cooking, and Mario moves and looks interested in what Luigi has for him... It's the little things that really add to the overall feel of the movie!
And then Mario is a bit surprised when Luigi throws the hot potato over and past him! XD But then he receives it into his inventory and says, "...Oh!" with understanding. So many things to get used to in Minecraft! lol
We get some text from Luigi, and he lets Mario know how to survive in Minecraft, and crafts him a wooden sword like his own.
We also find out that Luigi found a letter from Princess Peach, and it turns out they aren't the only ones that stumbled into Minecraft...
Wow... How long did it take you to build Bowser's Castle?! It looks incredible! :D And the way the letter faded into where the camera follows the lava river and pans around to the castle itself and the music... 8D
We see Peach in a cage hoping that Mario finds her and scared about this terrible turn of events.
Bowser laughs from his golden throne, it looks like he already feels at home! >:) He promptly declares himself the ruler of the Minecraft world, to Peach's disgust. lol
Bowser heads off, and we see Koopa has gone with him there as well. And Bowser has Koopa open the door for him, Koopa is still one of Bowser's top servants.
Bowser's room also looks very nice and reflects his personality, with a kingly double bed with black covering, and the black and white checkered floor. Even a black rose, and the lanterns hanging from chains. The windows kind of resemble evil eyes with how they are shaped... And the desk has a book and quill in a frame... is that Bowser's diary?! XD That's a great Paper Mario reference, and also a reference to your first movie Mario's Quest! :D There's even a lever that will open the trap door to Peach's cage, and a sign warning others not to touch it. lol
Looking out from his new castle, Bowser feels he's prepared if Mario does happen to show up.
Back with the bros., it's business as usual, in an unusual place. Mario's eager to get going, but Luigi knows that his brother needs to get more familiar with how things work in Minecraft before taking on Bowser, so he gets to train him! :) I love the use of Super Mario Odyssey music during the training! Luigi shows Mario how to get wood from trees, how to mine in caves, and not get ore with his bare hands. X) How to use a pickaxe, and how to not be reckless and get used to building his way around obstacles.
And, how to get resources from the animals! I love how they herded cows together! lol
After a long day of training, the bros. cross their well-constructed bridge and head back home. They craft a red bed for Mario, and some red leather armor, too! ^_^ It's time for a rest, and in the morning their adventure begins! :D
Aw yeah, my favorite Mario song, 'Break Free!' :D It's amazing how well it fits with the Minecraft theme, too! It's an epic adventure montage to the song as Mario and Luigi swim through the water, meet some parrots ^_^, cut through the jungle and find a jungle temple, and Luigi learns about how boobytraps work! :S
The boating down the mountain rapids was one of my favorite scenes! XD I love how Luigi was terrified and Mario was having fun! And the music was at just the right place for 'take the plunge'!
And then that cinematic scene of jumping over the mountain gaps with the sunset in the background... :) And riding pigs! XD Then they boat with the pigs across the ocean, I thought it was cute that they had some pets. :) And then they camp out in the desert and... cook porkchops. I guess they weren't pets... :( lol
The mine cart scene past the cave spider was really cool, and so was finding a Creeper in the cave! I wonder if Mario was comparing the Creepers to Bob-ombs?
Then, at last, coming out of the woods in the night, they reach Bowser's Castle! All those scenes were very well done before and while they enter... did you take film courses, or did you just naturally have the talent? :)
I love how Mario just waltzes up and says, 'Hey, Bowser! 8)' XD
Bowser looks amused, it's another familiar situation for the both of them, and Mario declares that he's going win against Bowser, as usual. And Peach is really happy to see her hero. ^_^
But Bowser has some new tricks to go with his new castle and has Koopa flip a switch to release a hoard of Zombies on the plumbers! It's 'showtime!' >:) How did you get those Zombies to ignore Bowser and Koopa and head right for Mario and Luigi? Was it some fancy split screen editing, or some other thing?
Mario and Luigi put up a fight, but they are soon overwhelmed by the numbers and have to retreat! Mario heads up a vine while Luigi ducks through a doorway. Mario finds a bow and some arrows on the upper floor and quickly uses his position as an advantage to start shooting the Zombies!
Meanwhile, Luigi is chased by some Zombies and finds an armory. He uses a corner as a cover and fights off the Zombies, though he takes a few hits, and is relieved when it's over. Mario continues to shoot at the Zombies below, but then more Zombies come through a door from behind him, and he has to run again! He gives them the slip by using a jukebox to jump over the stone guardrails, and heads back down to the throne room as Bowser orders more Zombies to chase Mario! Some of the Zombies even jump down from the upper floor and hurt themselves and Bowser cheers them on. lol
Back with Luigi, he explores more of the hallways in the armory, and finds another boobytrap! I like how he's prepared for it now, and sneaks past it along the wall. :) He then finds a button by a dispenser, and it turns out to be a Creeper dispenser! He knows what to expect from them, and quickly fights it off! 'Hey, tough guy!' XD
He gathers the dropped gunpowder and finds a chest full of 'Anti-Mario supplies' to his horror. Within the chest, he sees what Bowser had the Creeper dispenser for... to make TNT... Which gives Luigi an idea. :D

I hadn't thought of the Wizard of Oz directly when making that scene, so it's cool that you mention it! Bowser's Castle took a couple of evenings for the 3-4 of us to do, not as bad as it might look - maybe we're just pro builders :P
Glad you noticed a lot of the details like the diary, the daisy and even the way I got "take the plunge" to be audible over the boat section! The creeper in the cave took some careful staging with a stream set up in the ceiling, because there were only three of us filming at the time including me on camera! I've never done film courses or anything, that's very kind of you to say - just similar sorts of skills to filming plushes I guess :)
The zombies ignored Bowser because we updated his game mode to creative, it was a cunning trick! We also didn't have enough actors to do everything again, so used a villager in a mine cart as the bait.
I like that "so long" can be interpreted as "goodbye", but also as "this is a long pipe!" The explosion at the end was redone a couple of times by reloading the world, because we didn't get everything to explode the other times.
The Goomzilla at the end is made up of "Gooo [red team]" "[I']m[gonna win]" "la [la la hm hm hm]" and one other clip for the "zi" which I think was actually a "si" sound? Can't remember which, but yeah! Thanks for the review, we love to see it :D
