I was worried when I acquired my 07’ Mercedes S550 that it’s digital instrument dials would be laggy occasionally, but luckily it stays at a solid 60fps. Which is kinda of incredible for such an old car with that tech. Though it’s far more basic than these gauges. Jeep by far has the worst, they’re like 20 FPS maybe. Watch a track hawk acceleration video and see how bad the dials lag.
Wow. So much hate in the comments. Lol I will tell you the truth between the e63s and the m5 competition. I have driven them both on the same day for an hour or so each. These are my findings. The BMW is the better overall car by a significant margin in most areas. Let me explain why before you Benz lovers go crazy and accuse me of being bias. The only advantage the AMG has over the m5 is the exhaust note. It's better no doubt. The AMG is a very capable car overall too don't get me wrong. However, the BMW is just better to drive. It's smoother, a little quicker, and way more comfortable. It has sharper steering and stronger brakes. It's also better balanced with better cornering control and hides more of its weight. The chassis is so solid. The road and wind noise inside the cabin is so so low too. The AMG on the other hand was quite noisy and the ride was way too stiff. BMW achieved a way better ride with better handling somehow. There was also a strange noise with the AWD system in the e63s . You could occasionally hear it working away making whirring noises and there was a strange sensation when it would engage the front axle. I asked the dealer about it and he said it's just how it is with the 4matic +. It's even more noticeable in wet conditions I am told. The BMW X drive on the other hand was completely invisible. Just seamless in its operation. You wouldn't even know it's there working away. The transmission on the BMW was much smoother too and was great in stop start traffic. That 9 speed automatic in the e63s was quite jerky around town and too snappy for everyday driving. Almost to the point of annoyance. It was awesome for a high speed Run though that's for sure. It shines at maximum throttle. Interiors, the Mercedes seats are so uncomfortable. The interior is bling but the materials are very cheap with a lot of plastics everywhere. It does not feel worth the money. The BMW interior was more simple but still elegant. It was very solid feeling with better quality materials and put together better. No cheap plastics here. The seats in the m5 are like recliners. So supportive and comfortable. You could eat up alot of miles without a sweat. It is obvious Mercedes Benz have cut quite a few corners with this vehicle and I'm surprised hardly any reviewer on TH-cam mentions these faults. Maybe they are being paid? Who knows... Let me know your thoughts or if anyone has driven these vehicles too. It's nice to share information

I have driven an M5 competition, Mercedes e63s amg, Mercedes AMG GT 4 door, and a Porsche panamera turbo s-e hybrid, at the end of the day I bought the M5 competiton. First of all, it was the fastest of the 4 cars in a straight line it is the current fastest 4 door. Secondly, it was the most comfortable suspension wise and it had the most tech just beating the AMG Gt 4 door. Next, it was the second best on interior quality just being beaten by the Porsche and tied with the GT 4 door. The cabin was very eligant and in real life its classes above the Mercedes and about the same as the Porsche! It felt the most darty and fastest around the corners just edging the 4 door with the heavy Porsche and E63s way behind! The exauhst note was the only thing lacking but I fited an Akrapovic exauhst and that was fixed. In conclusion, the M5 competition is the overall best car only losing interior quality to the Porsche!
I drive the 540i, which isn't the monster this thing is, but it's built on the exact same platform (minus the engine, and the tuning, and the brakes). I love how even when going 110mph the damn thing is still smooth as butter and feels like it could handle another 50mph easily. Of course I'll never take it that far, or even much beyond 80 since I don't feel like having my license revoked.

Autobahn is so much fun. Once in a lifetime experience (except if you live there, of course). Being able to go literally as fast as you want/can is so fun and liberating.

Of all the cars he tested on the Autobahn BMW has the most smooth engine operation, pleasant traction, And in my opinion, in second place in terms of sound insulation, in the first Rolls Royse.
I think we are in a "golden era" of cars right now, no doubt in part due to the foreseeable demise of petrol/diesel engines on account of global warming. Anyway, I just love many of the cars you drive these days (I'd like to see more from Klasen) so let's enjoy them while we can.
The problem is that when the future comes there will be newer m5's so you won't like this (m5 f90) as much you like is now...so your dream car in the future would be the current m5 not this f90,..
please do the toyota land cruiser 200 excalibur all the test comfort, noise level, power as a kingsuv, mud capabilities, climb capabilities, top speed on the autobahn, and acceleration 0 to 100 and 0 to top speed
I really love the interior of this car I love the Mercedes too but I prefer this because I think it will take a much longer time before it get outdated... it's like a normal interior car so it doesn't get oudated and I really really love teh way the speedo look

Bmw for autobahn runs any day low wind noise and almost no body roll. I remember the s63 amg video having lot of noise and vertical movement
