How did you put a message on the bus🧐
Here you go:
Open console (` key under Esc)
type this in the console while having the bus selected as the Lua input (bottom left, next to the typing field) :
controller.onGameplayEvent("bus_onRouteChange", {direction="direction", routeID="42"})
"direction" being the text you want to display and "routeID" being the number
for "routeID" you can use [bng], [bus] or [air] as icons instead of a number
