The main concept is from Korean traditional fairytale, . It's a story about children who go up to the sky to escape a tiger and becomes the sun and the moon. story: A poor brother and sister are waiting for their single mother, who is a rice cake vendor. But a hungry tiger comes after the mother, saying, "If you give me one rice cake, I won't eat you," and eats all the rice cakes, and after that, eats the mother. Still unsatified, the tiger approaches the brother and sister by pretending to be their mother. The brother and sister use their wit to check the tiger's hand through the door (the window of an old Korean house is made of paper) and run away secretly, but they are soon caught and tracked down by the tiger. Caught on the roof, the two children pray eagerly, and the God gives the children a new wire to make them the sun and the moon, and gives the tiger a rotten wire to make it fall and die. So that's the "happy ending" in this fairytale. But in the MV, ive members ARE the tigers who loved the sun(maybe.. us?). They are constantly described as tigers, and thet don't want happy ending of this fairytale. They want to swallow the sun(us...) and be with us through the eternity...🥰

Ive's 'HEYA' is an imaginative and deep song with the motif of a classic Korean fairy tale. It will be more interesting if you know the Korean classics about the tiger, the hundred-year-old fox, and the sun and moon.
When it comes to Korean traditional items and Hanbok. I get emotional ! I am not even sure why. Also, Tiger is the animal that is representing Korea and I love the concept.
Liz and Leeseo blew me away. Especially Liz… she’s the only idol that manages to send goosebumps through my whole body every time I hear her voice. It’s so beautifully haunting I can’t explain it. On top of these two, they all absolutely killed this! Yujin is the camera’s (and stage’s) best friend I swear. Wonyoung’s voice has improved so much, I confused hers with Liz’s for a second. And Gaeul and Rei with the attitude. They always bring such a cool vibe to their MVs. They all look stunning. And my God this song is an absolute BOP. The MV is up there with my favorites next to XG’s Puppet Show and Grl Gvng MV. Just phenomenal 😭 I love IVE. They have been working so damn hard and it really shows.
