There are a few round here that I wouldn't let on the boat at all. I know Chris will call me out on anything I have done wrong, he has many years experience, an thats what I want him to do. I'm almost going to be sad when you're done with all the work. Although it's a safe bet that you two won't! I used to drive the maintenance guys at work crazy because I like to watch. Getting brisk here as well, I've had the heat on already. Fingers, paws and fins crossed for your BSS. I have the whole pet crew on it for you! Hugs and stuff❤
We always look forward to your comments Cyndi, we have missed them. I don't think a boat is ever finished is it? We want to keep the channel going and are thinking of a way to do that without just rerunning what everyone else has done. If you have any suggestions?
@@narrowboatmoonshine Don't worry about me! I've seen all 20 seasons of Time Team at least 6 times. I don't mind seeing things again if they're good and you always catch things you've missed. I only started watching on youtube because that's where Travels By Narrowboat went to. 7 reruns through all 8 seasons and I'm 2yrs younger than Aslan. All his fault I sub to 11 NB channels now.🙄😵💫😍 I do hate waiting a week for the next Rings of Power, though.

We love doing the TH-cam channels, but only want to put videos up when there is some content, thats why we have been a bit quieter. Along with that we have had to refocus on our businesses, the boat side has been bonkers this year, it can be difficult for me (mart) to work on boats all week than start on our own on days off. Having said that the boat is working very well, it really feels like home. Thanks for the comment, appreciate it.

I have a question for you if you don't mind, I've been trying to find the acrylic interior trims you got, but can't find them anywhere, would you mind telling me where they came from please? thanks in advance
It wont get that could here to affect the viscosity to that level. The pipe is 10mm so shouldnt be an issue. Yes there is a safety valve installed in the diesel line should the water in the boiler get too close to boiling.
Mart, I think you have misunderstood my question. I’m not talking about oil viscosity or anything like that. Most oil drip feed stoves have safety devices fitted to stop the flow of fuel if the stove flame fails. The Reflex stoves use a thermocouple to shut off the oil in case of flame failure, this prevents unburnt oil pooling in the stove. You stated that when you lite your stove that the oil was puddling inside and that was before you had even lite it! Anyway, great vlogs and most enjoyable, keep up the good work
@@optimist3580 ah right. I had opened the valve to let diesel in, I do this as I get meths and light. Instructions say a biscuit size “pool”. If these stoves go out, there is nothing that stops the diesel, their design “feature” is they can only fill up to 15mm in the chamber, and will not leak out. Of course you’d have to get that out before relighting.
@@narrowboatmoonshine Mart, thanks for the reply. I was just a little concerned because I used to have a Taylor’s Stove, one very windy night the flame blew out! I woke the next morning to a small pool of diesel around the stove, it took weeks to get rid of the smell. Believe Taylor’s and Reflex stoves are now fitted with flame failure devices as standard.
@@optimist3580 gotcha, yeah these can’t do that due to the Toby valve design and burn chamber. No diesel smell at all, but if you got diesel in wood floor, that smell ain’t going anywhere. One of our best purchases.
