Darn. Was hoping for plans for the mallet but apparently there aren't any. It's a beautiful piece of work and I'm going to try to replicate it this week.

incorporating the washers as weights in these lighter woods is a genius move. Given how attractive the design is, nobody would ever know they’re inside.

Never would've thought that seasoning the wood glue with salt would be a good tip.
This is incredible! If you achieve so much perfection in a mallet, I hardly can imagine what you could create for more delicate tools.

I got rid of all my wood working machines. The one I wish I kept was a drill press. I was going to buy a desk top but never did. I enjoy just watching these days.
