- Geri Horner has launched her TH-cam series Rainbow Woman with a grand tribute to one of Britain’s most iconic Girl Power figures, Queen Elizabeth I.
On its debut episode, ‘Queen Speaks’, Geri undergoes a regal transformation to portray Queen Elizabeth I. Ever an avid storyteller and lover of English history, Geri shot the episode in Ashridge House, where Princess Elizabeth - the future Queen Elizabeth I - lived until she was arrested by her sister Queen Mary in 1554. This picturesque episode was shot in collaboration with BAFTA-winning cinematographer Laurie Rose, who has worked on Peaky Blinders and Riviera.
Written, directed and executive produced by Geri, Rainbow Woman is a collection of vibrant vignettes following her on big and little adventures, each hued with humour and their own message of hope and positivity. A new episode will be unveiled every Sunday with bonus content called 'Hangovers' for fans to follow.
Rainbow Woman will also feature some new, original music by Geri, who has written several unforgettable hits that have soundtracked our lives with the Spice Girls and as a solo artist.

I remember just being in awe with you and so crushed with your departure. I left right along with you. My bedroom door was plastered with Spice Girl photos. I’ll turn 40 in a month and I’ll still dance and bust out to signing those early SG songs. Then LOOK AT ME came out and my gay boy life came back. I can’t tell you how happy I am to unexpectedly learn you are taking me and so many others on a Girl Power Journey! Started listening to you as a young closeted gay teenager and I’m still here gurl! So relate to this!!! My bedroom was all covered with posters, photos, articles and everything about SG too! It was so empowering, so helpful having SG during such lonely and frighening times of dealing with being gay (Gay kids/teens today will never understand how that was).

The world is so crazy and little as well. I was a teenager when I discovered a book about Queen Elizabeth I. I got shocked when I read about her passion & love. I don't like the word "sacrifice" I prefer to named it first a commitment.
I am Mexican, and we have a lot of brilliant women here (my mother, my grandmother, aunts, sisters included). It is great to understand history from all over the world and take a deep immersion in our own history. Then there's Geri here, I feel respectful every day about Geri's place and how she lead the Spice Girls. She had vision back in 1994, she took these girls in her Fiat UNO to find a manager and to make a dream came true. They all fly higher. I am sure a lot of people don't understand but I can clearly see a girl, now a woman with an amazing imagination -"Goodbye" lyrics were so assertive to describe her- I can see through her eyes & mind, she imagine herself like an amazon, a warrior, a queen but she is also a warrior daughter, an amazon as a friend, she took a flag as a performer, as a mother she is a Queen. "Like a rainbow" Rolling stones is playing in my head right now. Geri is a wonderful woman she is one of the bravest hearts and she means a lot to people around the world. Thanks Geri for your passion you've inspired a hole generation.
