@kimhouston1234 The flowers mentioned are Clarkia, Calendula, Zinnia, Bachelors buttons (centaurea cyanus), Cosmos. Other great for direct seeding plants are Morning Glory vine, Nasturtiums (edible flower), California poppy (Eschscholzia), Poppies (Papaver rhoeas/ & commutatum), Sweet pea vine, marigols, sunflowers, Larkspur (annual delphinium) and Lavetera.
@GettingThereGreen No direct seeding has been done yet this year, it is usually done the first or second week in June. The video footage is from 2nd week of June 2010 and the second portion with the flowers in bloom was the 2nd week of August. Unfortunately you don't see all the other flowers blooming in this video!

can you type out the flowers you say on the video. I want to look it up but I don't the spelling of the seed of the flowers.
