Five Nights at Freddy's (FNaF) is a video game series and media franchise created by Scott Cawthon. The first video game was released on August 8, 2014, and the resultant series has since gained worldwide popularity.
The main series consists of nine video games taking place in locations connected to a fictional family pizza restaurant franchise named "Freddy Fazbear's Pizza", after its mascot, the animatronic bear Freddy Fazbear. In most games, the player assumes the role of a night-time employee, who must utilize tools such as security cameras, lights, doors, and vents to defend themselves against animatronic characters who inhabit the locations and become mobile and hostile at night. The series' lore is gradually revealed through voice recordings, minigames, and Easter eggs featured throughout the games.
Friday Night Funkin' is a Newgrounds rhythm game made in HaxeFlixel originally created for Ludum Dare 47. Programmed by ninjamuffin99 with a soundtrack produced by Kawai Sprite and artwork created by PhantomArcade and evilsk8r, the game can be played on Newgrounds or played/downloaded for free on itch.io.
The plot of the game centers around Boyfriend trying to hook up with Girlfriend, but her ex-rockstar father Daddy Dearest doesn't approve of him. It's up to Boyfriend to rap battle his way through him and anyone else that stands in his way so that he can finally get freaky! Think you got what it takes?
Freddy Fazbear is the titular antagonist of the Five Nights at Freddy's series, who later appears as multiple variations in the succeeding games. Freddy is an animatronic bear and children's entertainer housed at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, alongside Bonnie and Chica. He is the mascot of the original Freddy Fazbear's Pizza chain and takes the role as the lead singer of the band, standing in the center of the stage. Secretly, Freddy and the other animatronics are haunted by children murdered by a man named William Afton. He and the others are now seeking revenge against their killer by attacking any adults in the pizzeria after-hours in blind rage.
Springtrap, previously known as Spring Bonnie, is the main antagonist of Five Nights at Freddy's 3 and the withered form of Spring Bonnie. He is possessed by William Afton, the main antagonist of the series. He appears in Five Nights at Freddy's VR: Help Wanted and Five Nights at Freddy's AR: Special Delivery.
Huggy Wuggy is a tall, slender creature covered in thick, bright blue fur. His arms and legs are several feet in length and end in large yellow hands and feet, respectively. His hands have large Velcro straps on the palms, and both they and his feet possess four digits, including thumbs, though they are fused together and are unable to move individually (with the exception of the thumbs). His torso is stout and disproportionately small in comparison to his long limbs. His head is large and contains two large black, dilated eyes. On his face are oversized, cartoonish, bright red lips.
CatNap’s monstrous form resembles a feline creature cloaked in purple fur. Its eyes showcase black pupils encircled by white irises and a cat-like nose. The creature’s mouth can unhinge widely, devoid of discernible teeth, forming an abyss-like void. Monstrous paws bear four digits, each armed with sharp, black claws, and elongated limbs seem loosely stitched at the joints. The disproportionately small, emaciated torso exposes the rib cage and pelvic bone beneath the skin. Around its neck, a subtle melanoid-black zipper runs, akin to a dull yellow crescent moon charm.
The Source Filmmaker (SFM) is the movie-making tool built and used by us here at Valve to make movies inside the Source game engine. Because the SFM uses the same assets as the game, anything that exists in the game can be used in the movie, and vice versa. By utilizing the hardware rendering power of a modern gaming PC, the SFM allows storytellers to work in a what-you-see-is-what-you-get environment so they can iterate in the context of what it will feel like for the final audience.
The main opponent of the Vs. Sonic.EXE mod is the titular character from the Sonic.EXE series, but it also features many other horror-oriented characters from other official and fan-made Sonic media, including Sonic (PC PORT), Sonic CD, Sunky, Sonic R, Sonic Shorts, and Sonic the Comic.

I like how Bendy sides with Freddy and isn't against him, because they both know that they're original and amazing indie horror games

Love everything from the scenery, vocals, and even banban’s model just being png’s. The only little nitpick I have is that I feel the title could’ve have been something like “inferiority complex” rather than “inferior mascots” but that’s really the only negative. Overall great video, keep up the good work

I love how despite Theodore Peterson, Huggy Wuggy, and Blue being the punching bags and the butt end of the joke here, they are still considered more worthy of having 3D rendered sprites than BanBan, who just gets a bunch of goofy ass PNG image sprites.

I like the fact that Huggy has decent animations and an intro animation because, even if Poppy Playtime is a new horror game that is somewhat aimed at kids, it's still an actually pretty decent game with a ton of effort shown
Poppy Playtime Chap. 3 was genuinely very good in the horror department, to me just barely beating out FNAF Ruin in fear
I love how the amount of effort put into the characters like poses or extra animations (huggys entrance and exit for example) reflect the amount of effort the devs put into their games

All the other horror mascots at least had some kind of popularity when it first came out. Like Poppy Playtime before the controversy and drama with the devs. So at least they deserve some kind of proper model and poses. Meanwhile, Garten of Banban is shit from release and still is. Not once was it scary and it was even a rip off Poppy Playtime

The only franchise I'd say is missing is Baldi's Basics, although there is a limit to characters for character replacement songs, so 100% correct calls were made.
Also fun fact: Baldi's Basics's 5th Anniversary is March 31st! I started play indie horror games in general with Baldi's Basics Classic in early March right before the 3rd anniversary, so 2 years of me being a Bald Math Teacher runawayer lol.

Apparently 0.4.0 for plus is coming somewhat soon (no date, probably in a few months) but then afterwards apparently updates every 2 months. And 0.4.0 will be the first time a new character was added to anything Baldi's Basics related in ages! (Not counting joke characters, Null getting is "name", or Micah actually appearing after glitch mode in classic remastered)
I'm honestly kinda scared. I'm way too used to Plus right now, so a new character can change the entire feel for me. But it's that fear that will make it scary for me again lol. If only for a little bit. 185 hours and counting on record for Plus lol
8 months later: De Reflex is announced for Baldi's Basics Plus, alongside a bunch of important changes. Supposedly launching during January. I'm again hyped but nervous. And I have over 420 hours in BB+ now, so that's a thing

I like to think the reason why Bendy was on Freddy's side was because he's an iconic horror character unlike Neighbor, Huggy, Blue, or Ban Ban who are just cringe horror games that barely have any horror
There is also the fact that his game (Batdr) is extremely good and does not feel rushed
honestly at this point Pouria could probably make their own horror-themed Indie Cross and nobody would be surprised
I understand the trouble behind animating a monstrosity of a 3D model such as Banban. Plus the effort put into his sprites have more effort than the game itself so that’s still a W.
I don’t see how this is fair. We have two very good indie franchises going against games that either A. We’re good until they started to do other things, or B. Weren’t bad but not good either.

If there was a garten of ban an mod I think ban bans song would probably be more smooth and not to hard like a extended version of fading but the music is something similar to jazz.

I mean it is a possibility but good luck convincing Penove to make music since he has ouright stated that he does not want to do an fnaf 3 mod. That being said Pouria could always have someone else do the music (Thunder92yt made really good music for vs w Freddy and vs fnaf 2) but Pouria would also have to be interested in it. It also brings up the question how would you do a fnaf 3 mod with only just Springtrap and the phantoms. Pardon my rambling I will shut up now

Man its tru actually bendy and fnaf are some of the best horror games that many people actually got scared of.
It's like Freddy receives a flashback or vision of each popular "Mascot Horror" indie game that came after FNAF, watching the successes and failures of each one which slowly ends in a true and strange descent into madness...
It's beautifully poetic, in a way, and hopefully an inspiration to budding game devs that the game and horror of it comes FIRST when making something like this.
Otherwise, you'll end up with the lazy, repetitive "copy-and-paste" formula of Garten of BanBan. :-/

I feel like Garten of BanBan and Rainbow Friends shouldn’t be part of the famous indie horror games. FNAF, Hello Neighbor and BATIM have been around for ages (Poppy Playtime is new but ALREADY fits in so well). One is just a Roblox “Horror” game for children (which is alright for a young audience) and Garten of BanBan is a new game that’s trying to do well, but (In my opinion) is pretty unsuccessful. My thoughts may change if they revamp some things and later chapters get better. Anyways, they all have lore and this cover itself is amazing! Good job!
