i remember the times when hiachi's maze was so confusing, kuriko was so scary to look at, kusonoki was too slow, kaito looked like michael jackson, mihari's maze was horrible, daku was too fast, kusonoki's chapter 4 counterpart was an ankle breaker and saigomo was too annoying. A, i miss those times

I was happy when they brought it back. I really missed the old models from book 1 and they terrify me when I first played the game. I missed it and kept thinking to go pass through time just to play the old versions of the game.

I beat chapter II on nightmare solo like 4 times and in groups atleast 10
chapter II used to be my FAVORITE, especially sama's maze

If u were to ask me which I prefer the most between the new mimic or the old mimic, I would definetly choose the old one. Less lag, less bug, low-graphics but the best, pitch black everywhere and the old models of monsters is totally scarier than the new ones. The new mimic today is... absolutely nothing compared to the old one. It didn't give me the same energy I kept feeling before. And they keep making difficult chapters in the book 2.

i missed the mimic OG a lot. i remember when i’d dare myself to play solo only to leave the game after ending up in the classroom where you get the key to go to the next part of chapter 1…😢 i miss how simple it was back then. no lag, no rage quitting…just playing with your friends for a scare.

I first joined the mimic when they only had book 1 chapter 2 and it wasn’t even revamped! The monsters all had the same clothing and looked like some plastic dolls with masks on and black eyes. The design was simple but very boring to look at. Now they have book 2 and everything was revamped to a much greater model which they actually look really scary and not some plastic dolls anymore and the map revamp also makes it look very realistic. Playing the mimic classic brings back those memories to where the game was still developing and old.
