In 1995 the we visited US and our friends Mike and Airlie took us to see Eddie and trio at Montclair---WONDERFUL !--In the interval we chatted and told him,as a violinist, I recently played in Carmen in the UK.Later he quoted from that opera,during a riff !I Its great to see and hear him here.We have not forgotten our visit to "Trumpets" in Montclair.Such a warm friendly place,with extraordinary playing thrown in--!! Remembering also,of course,Joe Cacuzzo and Lenny Argese.
