I think Discord creates these type of Linux based Virtual Machines when you create a online account When they say it's a "Discord server" it's not a physical unit it's a VM guest host

@@TechsavvyProductions and how is this possible? There is no remotefx. Mxgpu I was considering but not sure it would work as in hyper-v I don't see this option. Nvidia grid on hyper-v according to Nvidia is not possible as remotefx doesn't exist anymore.

Microsoft announced it will not be releasing Hyper-V Server Free as part of Windows 2022. However, if you're already using Hyper-V Server Free 2019, you can continue to do so until 2029.

For some of the i9 Intel features to provide direct access to VM to the hardware and drivers. Trevor, (sorry so slow in replying) after scanning Intel's I9 products page I can not find any new Intel product in the I5 and above that does not support VT-x, the reason is all the critical security mitigation technologies built into Windows 10/11 and Server are leveraging virtualization. The I9-11900 has VT-x. I would recommend putting pfSense on a device like this (this mini PC has "opensense" already installed) Opensense and Pfsense have the same firewall software just different vendors. Certain Video Cards with their respective drivers can allow Hyper-V to virtualized the GPU for many VMs.

Great questions, you really need access to the parent partition to really verify performance losses at the VMs.
Hyper-V will be replaced with Azure Stack HCI and Hyper-V Server 2019 will be the last free version
