White box labels are pairs made in China for the U.S. The black label pairs are the ones made in Vietnam for Europe/Asia (hence no MSRP sticker on label).
I'm 41, and honestly like the OG colors in Jordan's. A new colorway here and there doesn't hurt though. Some colorways are wild trash, but people will still purchase them because they are a Jordan.
