    Finally someone with a sound clip of a cat delete for the 2.7 ecoboost with stock cat back!!!! I haven't purchased the catless downpipes from SPD because I didn't know how loud it would be. After watching and hearing your video over and over again, idle is quieter than I thought, but on throttle it's as raspy as I imagined. I have now decided to go with the high flow catted down pipes after watching this. (trying to keep it as quiet as possible) I might of considered the resonated catless down pipes, but they informed me they don't make them anymore. Awesome video!!

    I'm not sure if I'll get a reply, with the video coming out so long ago, but was the drone bad with just the stock exhaust and the downpipe?

    Man, that sounds great! I saw you installed an aftermarket catback, but do you recall how it sounded on the highway? Any drone? I'm looking for more sound with spirited driving without the loss of comfort on long trips.

      Matt Bowen That 4” catback is long gone; way too loud with Catless downpipes.

    So I read through the comments and seen you did not tune the truck. So you think I’d be good with installing the catted down pipe and not tuning? Just asking for your opinion, thank you in advance

      A little less turbo whistle, less rasp, less smell, but performance should be the same. If I had the coin, I would’ve bought the catted version.

    So I’m in the market of buying a new f150. The truck that has everything(even price) that I’m looking at is a 2.7. I really wanted a 3.5. But can’t seem to find the specs I’m looking for in that motor. So. Now that I’m looking in to the 2.7. Was this a full delete as in everything or just the cat? I’m looking in to doing a catless downpipe with a straight back pipe nothing else. No res no muffler. Just a straight 3 inch pipe. Is that what you did ? I’m sorry about the paragraph. Just wanted to know thanks! And it sounds pretty awesome to me

    • @bullhead360
      @bullhead360  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Get rich or Vlog trying this is just the Catless downpipes with stock exhaust. Spd has stopped making the Catless downpipes. The problem with these trucks is the wastegates are open most of them time, so it’ll sound like a straight piped v6 (ass) unless you like that sound. Cold start is very loud on these trucks.

      I know, anything over 4-4500 rpm it starts to get raspy. It’s actually grown on me. To combat the rasp I would recommend SPD’s catted downpipes.
