Fun fact: I promised myself that I’d find a jumping spider this spring to care for and observe. One literally walked down the wall in front one me and presented itself while I was working at my desk earlier. 🥰
I will say I've watched a lot of tarantula TH-camrs I won't mention them, however I very much appreciate how gentle you are when you rehome any of your creatures. I like how soft and careful you are with them, I wish I seen that quality more in others. Thank you so much!
That is a watermelon pepperomia! They are adorable!! But trust me you wanted this one instead of a fittonia (nerve plant) as they can be tempermental!temperamental!! Cute set ups! 💚 Edit: sorry if there's been a ton of people saying what kind of plant it is lol 🤦♀️
2:39 thats a type of peperomia! Not sure what variety it is off the top of my head, but it is definitely a peperomia and has slightly different care needs than nerve plants 🥰💓 love the vid per usual girl, its sooo precious🌷 theres nothing sweeter than planties, mini tarantula enclosures, and baby little T’s 🥺💝🔆
These 360 enclosures are really growing on me, like they have enough space but look compact, pretty but simple, and you made them into nice planted ones 🖤🖤 amazing ✨
wow that newly molted sling was BEAUTIFUL. my first T is gonna be an adult because I'm too green to trust myself to raise up a baby, but it really is tempting sometimes, they're so lovely.
Kat!! I pulled up one of your videos about a year ago to get over my arachnophobia. You got me head over heels into tarantulas, I've since started keeping a few house spiders (including a black widow!) and I finally got two tarantula slings at the start of this year!! One of them molted today and I caught progress shots on camera!!! Thank you for swaying me over to arachnids, they are incredibly charming animals and it has been an absolute blast! 🕷🧡
Decided to watch this today while eating a quick breakfast in the kitchen, happened to look up, and found a Jumping Spider looking down at me with one leg raised like they were saying hi! 🥺💙💙 TK brings all the spoods to the yard it seems! 😌💙
I was holding my breath during the freshly molted tarantula's rehousing 😅. Every spider I deal with I have this paranoid idea that they're gonna just randomly bolt somewhere and that would terrify me with a newly molted tarantula lol. But the new enclosures look so nice, they're gonna love them.
I love those styrofoam packing thingies the 360 enclosures come in...I may have immediately put one on my head as a hat while I was breaking down the boxes afterwards.
Davus pentalorus.... So pretty and I love saying that name!!! What a nice addition to a Friday night, I always love watching your videos... Thank you, Kat!!
The look ur wee fur baby gave you when you chucked the first box 🤣🤣🤣 those enclosures are stunning and i alwlove ur videos as always sweetheart huggles from Scotland uk 🤗🏴🤗
I love your videos, and all of your amazing Tarantulas and other pets. I have a Brachypelma hamorii sling, and love her to bits. she's so cuuute and I can't wait to do things like this for her when she's larger. By the way, I couldn't even hear your filter in the video. So I don't think you need to worry about it. BUT we all appriciate you making your best effort to giving us the best content you can. Thank Kat. If you read this, I hope you have a lovely day. :D
Two things: 1) Minus the glasses, tattoos, and septum piercing you bear a striking resemblance to my sister. Kind of neat. 2) I am currently jobless and you have me wanting a tarantula enough that I'm looking at how much it would cost to buy a G pulchra sling and a Tarantula Cribs enclosure for it. I'm also not a terribly patient person, and impulse buyer when I really want something.
I LOVE these setups! I will think about this when it’s time to rehouse my G PULCHRA sling 😀 that’s right. Finally. These are great Kat. Makes me wanna get a flat rock now, how cute!!!!
I am not a huge fan of arachnids. I can handle spiders (more on screen than in person) better than I used to, and I’m getting better with scorpions (still really don’t like them). Stumbled across your channel a couple weeks ago and have binged old videos. Tarantulas and jumping spiders a lot cuter than other spiders. I see jumping spiders a lot here in FL. One took up residence in my driver’s side mirror for a day or two.
I need Tarantula cribs in Canada, every time I watch a video i'm jealous ;o; that little flatrock was adorable, usually I'm a bit hesitant with scorpions and the idea of keeping them, but I think a flatrock looks adorable!
Would these enclosures be good for jumpers? Trying to find something for mine. She was in a jar for a little while but I wanted to do better and have her in an old cheese all container, but.. she can't stick to the walls
Some people say keep plants and flowers away from spiders because they could have pesticides. Ive wanted to put live plants in my enclosures. Any advice on this?
If the Tarantula Cribs enclosures were cheaper and were able to come to Canada for cheaper or at all, I would buy them for my tarantulas. Too bad. Also, that flat rock fits well in that enclosure.
This video is super cool, I'm ordering my first arachnid soon (probably today) it's not a tarantula but a vinegaroon:) Edit: I also have jumping spiders but I've never ordered an animal before
Curious about why you were nervous about it getting on you! I know you handle spiders, no worries.... I'm guessing cuz of how zoomie the D. pentaloris are?
What if u put a cube of meat in there with one of those spiders-would it eat it ? Once I caught a mud turtle when I was a kid. I kept it for a year before releasing it back into the lake, but man...did it like raw hamburger !
I was looking for already set up enclosures for jumpers and I was shocked the ones I kinda liked were $200. I'm excited to do my own I'm just having a hard time deciding exactly what style I want
They can deff be pricy. But to be honest, the spider won't care if they're in a home made storage container with ventilation, an old popcorn container or a nice glass or acrylic enclosure. So if you don't want to or can't spend the money on it, no need husbandry wise :) good luck
I Live In Trinidad And Last 2months ago I promised myself that ima get A Tarantula From Africa and it happened but my mom sprayed it Down and Killed :( R.i.p 😭😭😭😓😔
Fun fact: I promised myself that I’d find a jumping spider this spring to care for and observe. One literally walked down the wall in front one me and presented itself while I was working at my desk earlier. 🥰
Oooo congrats!
💕💕🤭too cool
Make sure to research what species it is if you plan on keeping it as some species of jumping spider do not do well in captivity it seems. Good luck!
@@ataka2142 that’s very true. It’s unfortunate
Same thing happened to me last spring and I still have my little girl! Just had a fly two days ago
I will say I've watched a lot of tarantula TH-camrs I won't mention them, however I very much appreciate how gentle you are when you rehome any of your creatures. I like how soft and careful you are with them, I wish I seen that quality more in others. Thank you so much!
2:30 Peperomia 'Dragon Skin'! I love bioactive enclosures!!!!!

Edit: sorry if there's been a ton of people saying what kind of plant it is lol 🤦♀️
I mourn my dear fittonia Khaleesi everyday! She was SO TEMPERAMENTAL! I moved her to a bigger home and she never recovered. 😢

Thank you for the ID! I’ll look it up
@tarantula kat I think it is a Piccolo Banda and they can be very finicky. Treat like a succulent...they will rot quickly if they remain wet to long!
These 360 enclosures are really growing on me, like they have enough space but look compact, pretty but simple, and you made them into nice planted ones 🖤🖤 amazing ✨
I really like them ^^
wow that newly molted sling was BEAUTIFUL. my first T is gonna be an adult because I'm too green to trust myself to raise up a baby, but it really is tempting sometimes, they're so lovely.
Don't sell yourself short! They are really easy to take care of😁
That first plant is a beautiful peperomia, caperata I believe 🥰

I was going to go to the pub tonight, glad I never now, great video kat.
Yay! We get to see your B. albiceps! 🥰

I'm really happy to see, that you're using springtails. These macro-buggers are such a benefit for terraristicos
I love that first enclosure, going to watch the rest of the video now 😁
All of the enclosures are fabulous Kat 😍🤩
Long time lurker here... I love how much your husbandry changed and grew when I first saw your channel. I'm always learning something new too 😁
I love these! The plant is actually some kind of peperomia :)
I love those styrofoam packing thingies the 360 enclosures come in...I may have immediately put one on my head as a hat while I was breaking down the boxes afterwards.
I always forget that scorpions start out so teeny tiny and they’re so freaking cute and it makes me want one!
I believe that is is Peperomia Piccolo Banda, and they are super finicky....they will rot really easily if over watered. Treat it like a succulent!
My juvie albiceps just molted too haha! Also those enclosure are so cool, I love how you can see just everything
Davus pentalorus.... So pretty and I love saying that name!!!
What a nice addition to a Friday night, I always love watching your videos... Thank you, Kat!!
Tarantula Kat has inspired me to get my first Tarantula 🥰🕷
you did a great job on all the enclosures! i love the little scorpions upgrade! you really spoiled him
The look ur wee fur baby gave you when you chucked the first box 🤣🤣🤣 those enclosures are stunning and i alwlove ur videos as always sweetheart huggles from Scotland uk 🤗🏴🤗
Hmmm im deff a fan in these 360 enclosures!
yessss love your rehousing videos so much!!!!
I'd love to see your Caribena Versicolor!! I have a 1/2" sling. It's a beautiful blue. Hopefully it's a female.
love the new enclosures the 360 ones seem great , n the lil scorpion was so cute great vid Kat ..
jus done my first rehousing vid of my cutie tarantulas 😁💙

The rare moment of a tarantula excited for a move.
Would you ever do a feeding video with tarantulas of this size?
The plant is a peperomia! Easy to propagate and do great in humid terrariums!
Just got my first jumping spider because of you! 🥰🕷🖤

Enclosure builds are my favorite :0)

Your B Albiceps is so cute. Sundial, my B Albiceps sling unfortunately passed away a few days ago.😥
I’m pretty sure that’s a watermelon peperomia bc the leafs are watermelon shaped ,and striped. Great vid lovely job on those enclosures!
I am not a huge fan of arachnids. I can handle spiders (more on screen than in person) better than I used to, and I’m getting better with scorpions (still really don’t like them). These 360s are soooo cool
Loving the music you used in this video in addition to the video content (obviously)! Who is the music done by??
Totaly awsome thank you tarantula kat!!!!!!
I recently made a bioactive enclosure for my Crested gecko
Awww so cute 🥰
Omg I looove these tiny enclosures. I need to upgrade my pumpkin patch soon so This gives me some ideas. :)
I need Tarantula cribs in Canada, every time I watch a video i'm jealous ;o;
that little flatrock was adorable, usually I'm a bit hesitant with scorpions and the idea of keeping them, but I think a flatrock looks adorable!
They will ship to Canada but I’m not sure how much it costs. You could deff contact them to get a rate. Flat rocks are awesome! Thank you!
I looked at them when I got my jumping spiders. Shipping was quite the chunk of money to get them to Canada :(
The plant with those round leaves is called Peperomia.
Awesome spiders great video

What are the very little cups in the old enclosures?

Awesomeness video, as usual! LOVE this channel! 💞🕷💞🕷
The terrainbuilder in me is like: 🤓
thanks I’m trying 😅
Heya Kat, where can I find that water sprayer you use?
What's the stackability like on these? I'm convinced I want some for my slings now. Lol.
Was thinking about getting a tarantula crib but unsure if they ship to Australia
Great video
Love your videos
How often do you clean their terrariums?
This video is super cool, I'm ordering my first arachnid soon (probably today) it's not a tarantula but a vinegaroon:)
Edit: I also have jumping spiders but I've never ordered an animal before
good luck :)
Terrified of spiders, but LOVE your videos! 💕🕷
Curious about why you were nervous about it getting on you! I know you handle spiders, no worries.... I'm guessing cuz of how zoomie the D. pentaloris are?
damn. u just hypnotized me into subbing..
What if u put a cube of meat in there with one of those spiders-would it eat it ? Once I caught a mud turtle when I was a kid. I kept it for a year before releasing it back into the lake, but man...did it like raw hamburger !
I love ur vids and this isn't 2u just in general I feel like it would be a sad life not being able to explore and being stuck in a small container. 😔
What does spring tails do in tarantula enclosures?
They help pick up any remains of prey so they don’t mold
@@tarantulakat Oh cool! thanks for telling me! :D
That plant looks like it might be a watermelon peperomia, I might be wrong though, but it is definitely a peperomia.
I was looking for already set up enclosures for jumpers and I was shocked the ones I kinda liked were $200. I'm excited to do my own I'm just having a hard time deciding exactly what style I want

11 comment awesome video today kat you are the best and the greatest keep it up you always inspire me everyday happy Friday 💪👍💯💯👍👍💪💪👍💯💯👍👍💪💪
Does anyone know which species is the tarantula with red chest and red stripes
Davus Pentaloris!
Hi
I know its off topic but do you still have Mary Jane. Possibly can you do an update video.
💕💕💕💕
How are you doing?
I moved mine the other day and it’s tiny and was kicking hairs at me so mean
My little tarantulas are still too small to do anything like this
for a girl who loves spiders she seems to be afraid of touching them haha
Am I the only one here that is terrified of spiders?
😱😱😱😨
I Live In Trinidad And Last 2months ago I promised myself that ima get A Tarantula From Africa and it happened but my mom sprayed it Down and Killed :(
