I love mine .It's a pocket knife . It is designed to deploy when it comes out of your pocket .You can control if it deploys or not . $12 can't beat it . I grind it to shape the way I like it . I sharpen the shit out of it . I have skinned squirrels , and a rabbit with mine . I peel potatoes, cut vegetables, steak whatever . I use it for finesse cuts .So far I haven't stabbed anyone with it . I hope I never do . But if I ever need to cut off an arm or a leg , or chop down a tree ill use my bowie or an axe .
In the low budget range you could do better. I have had knives like that and they really are scams. For 10 more dollars I can go to Blade HQ and get a KaBar folder, Opinell Folder, or a Ontario Rat that will come sharper last longer and be far more functional and utilitarian. I used to think these knives were good, but really in all honesty having moved from novelty knives from brands like TacForce and MTech to knives that focus more on getting you to buy them because they are quality rather than because they look cool, I've realized that these brands are pretty bad.
In Brasil, tac force is expensive. This model is arround 30 or 50, but a big boy stiletto or a small stiletto is 100 to 200. I like good spring assisted folding daggers that are 10cm or 9cm (bigger than this). These daggers are fast, easy to open in every way and is just good for stap and go for trash. But good knives here are backloocks (they aren't good for stabs) or linerlocks without springs. The first blade i buy was just like this and i manage to use one or two times for self defense.
they're just cheap, and work well enough to be able to convince ur grandma to let u buy it, and then later on if she said yes to that one, convince her to let u buy a better one (this is totally not me)
Yeah I buy knives like these occasionally just so they can sit around and if I get on the topic of knives and can just show it off and that it look kind of cool but I never carry them
I survived 6 months in the jungle with one of these. and it is still going strong today.6 years old.i love my tac force knifes .over 6 years use for 7,99 and some change you can not beat it. and it is fun to play with too. you just have to know how to take care of knifes and it will treat you good. the more you know the less you need. not long ago 440 A was a super steel and 3cr 13 is good to just sharpen every now and then. chines are making good knifes these days.
Every criticism you gave applies to any cheap knife (yeah the steel isn't high quality and blade play is expected). For ~10 bucks however this knife actually has a decent tip and deployment mechanism. I get that you don't like "dangerous looking" knifes but you made it sound in this review like a weapon-esque aesthetic is universally negative. Being caught with this in the wrong place is gonna land you in just as much trouble as being caught with a fancier looking benchmark spring assisted knife.
The criticisms I gave this knife apply to "poorly made" cheap knives. Not all. I have lots of positive reviews for certain budget knives on this channel. This particular knife is garbage, and the style is ridiculous. More of a toy than a tool.
I must be a mall ninja... if I had more money I might buy a benchmade but I don't have money so I bought a tac force spring assisted rainbow color "balisong" which isn't a balisong... me and my idiot self didn't look into the knife I was buying and bought it while looking for a balisong.
I mean tbh it really isn’t ment to be for tool cuz h don’t want a really nice folding knife for tool because there is a point where the blade will break but it isn’t ment to be a tool like a construction but it’s nice to be cheap so
They have regular knives to that are sharp right off the back sturdier than some 40 dollar knives and they’re usually cheaper that knife is one of their worst knives
I'm going to have to disagree. I've literally reviewed hundreds and hundreds of knives. At this price point, this brand is near the bottom of the barrel. Take a look at Civivi, CJRB, and Bestech for better build quality and some substantially better materials at the $40 mark.
Hello there. I understand this knife is very cheap, but i'm looking for a knife like this one, but actually well built (that opens the same way). Any suggestions?
How much are you wanting to spend? 2 that come to mind are the Hinderer Maximus (very well built but VERY expensive) and its lesser counterpart, the Kershaw Decimus (much less expensive, OK build quality)
J’ai acheté la version Böker Crusader un peu plus cher 32 frs Suisse je n’ai jamais regretté de l’avoir acheté c’est un excellent couteau en acier 440 et un design super.
im not crazy about fantasy styled knives like this but i have had quite a few tackys/mtechs thru the years and they arent that bad for under 10$. yes you do need to sharpen it after a good use but for someone who has only 10$ or less to spend they could do worse.. dont get me wrong, if you have 20$ buy a kershaw or crkt. but if you need something that cuts, you like the design, you only have 10$ and you know how to sharpen a knife, id say go for it LOL. also another opinion but... cheap gerbers are twice or three times as much $ as a tac force and i dont think theyre much better 😬 i only buy cheapo knives to use for nasty work like cardboard, tape, banding etc and save my benchmades, spydercos etc etc for nice carrys
Got this knife as a gift, keep it in my wife truck told her keep in there and leave it in the same place in case she ever needs to use it just stab them, break it off and drive away lol
Oh don't get me wrong I get what u are saying and that's why that knife stays in the truck and soul purpose is to stab someone if needed. Even though it was a gift I wouldn't get heart broken if it was left in some one trying to cause harm to me or mine. But to go along with your question yes all knives could be used as a weapon in some sort of way but not all knives can be used as a tool or shouldn't be at least. I got two main edc one for worker stuff (gerber icon) and one for the other stuff (fox karambit) lol
I'll only buy it for comparison and reviews mostly have it just for show not for any use basically use it for a throw away knife use it for basic stuff until it breaks and trash it I'll do that with any cheap garbage knife
I was just reading reviews on Amazon..lots of mention about the blade breaking and being "soft". I think the word "soft" was used in more posts than I can remember lolllll😅🤣
I definitely agree with you tacforce and all the zombie hunter knives are trash.. When i 1rst got into knives i had one of those cheapos and knew even not knowing about knives that they were trash.. I dont understand why the dislikes.. i can't afford the expensive knives but i do know whats good and whats not.. These knives is just for show and they are gimmicky
I saw this at a gas station and was gonna pick it up because it was cheap and looked for especially since I lost my good knife and instead chose a golden wildlife series folding knife
Well there are knives with fantasy elements that are made with extremely high quality... but they're expensive. Check out the Sharp By Design Arch Nemesis 👍
I was debating on getting this. I work overnights and I walk to and from work ( about half an hour ) and I'm trying to find a new pocket knife that's good for self defense but looks nice. As dumb as it is I like the asthetic of the knife but I probably won't get it
All I want is for someone to simply walk up and ask, "got anything you need thrown in a wood chipper?"... and the knife will henceforth belong to them.
Looks are secondary to performance. Also, yes that knife likely is made in China. The fact that I found three of the exact copies of that blade all with the same name under different sellers implies that it was made in a Chinese factory that ships out to several different sellers. Also, the fact that don't truly name a blade steel means it probably isn't very quality steel and has an uneven very poor heat treat or none at all. At that price point I also wouldn't expect a very sharp edge on a flat ground blade.
know people give alot of hate towards other people who like these things but honestly at the end of the day what a knife is is just a sharp piece of metal you use as a tool, makes no difference
The ONLY similarity between all knives (for the most part) is that they are made of metal. Literally everything else differs from maker to maker, model to model. There is ABSOLUTELY a difference at the end of the day. The knife in this video is not a tool. It's a poorly designed toy with a lot of issues.

Hahahaha just passing by when i saw this. Ew! I hate these nasty mall ninja "knives". We had some like this at like 14 and they were always pos lmao. Made me REALLY hate wobbly jiggly loose hardware. Im getting mad thinking about it.
Agreed I see them as tools. Unfortunately I live in the uk where everyone sees everything as a weapon :( That knife is nasty, feel sorry for anyone who payed $50
I got one as a gift from my mother in highschool. Even then I thought it was a little over the top. Lemme tell ya tho, goth chicks dig that shit 😂
Good point about the Goth chicks...
Haha, great comment! Nobody considered the "Goth chick appeal" factor! lol ;D
I think the crosses make that knife effective against vampires. I bet no one carrying such a knife has ever been attacked by the undead.
He had a good point if you like a knife that other people don't like ignore them.

Tbh I kinda like that knife. The red and silver one though, not that one
No judgement here! Buy what you like.
Hell i think all knifes are good if they can cut a 5 inch rope
In this knife's case, itll do that maybe 5 times before it's butter. Your money is better spent elsewhere.
Looks fine to me.. thats one gorgeous knife..
That's not a beautiful knife. If you want to see a beautiful knife look at Marfione Customs or a truly quality handmade Damascus blade.
Let him enjoy gas station knifes, we were all there at one point
you missed the entire point.., agree it looks good but it doesn't worth 40$.
Mall ninja...lmao

This knife looks like something that can be in a vampire movie. Folding knives can be a weapons, if I want that I would get a tactical knife.
I have that knife and I worked with a knife company to design that knife and that is a knockoff product
My aunt but it for me and I don't cut with it I ceep it for the looks

If your state/province allows it you should get an OTF, they’re very tactically appealing and nice quality in many cases.
what brand do you recommend? if someone does not want to spend hundreds of dollars.
Civivi, Sencut, CJRB, Kizer, Kubey, Miguron etc etc. I have many more. Check my "cheap knives I like" playlist
