Clint is one of the only few marksman that doesn't fall off in any stage of the game . He's strong from early to late game , early his 1skill is enough to poke and dominant the enemy while in late game his passive will start to take over and hits like a truck.
Clint and Granger are unique marksmen. They don't play like a usual marksman cuz they don't rely on auto attacks. They actually feel more like mages sometimes.
I feel like Clint and Granger should be MM/Assassin at this point. They focus more on burst damage and in the late game they go with a more hit and run playstyle which most assassins are known for.
As a Clint Main for almost 4 years, I highly enjoyed this guide. Also, I'm grateful that Clint got the recognition he truly deserve. He's not too complicated to use and very much a beginner friendly!
Been maining him since the very first version of his kit before the three to four revamps he got and when his first skill can still make enemies miss their auto attacks and his second skill can only slow, not immobilize heroes! Clint mains, rise up!!
As a newbie, I fully agree with you (from whatever glimpse I could catch from the 5 games I've played with him). His dynamic seems simple enough to understand, and conistently powerful enough throughout a match to let me bully my fellow gold laner at the beginning by poking them, then get a few kill streaks at the end of the game. Only inconvenient so far is that I have to always be hyperaware of the map and he doesn't seem as good as Miya or the couple other MMs I've played at pushing towers, but that's probably a skill or prep issue xD.
As Clint Main, you can use your second skill to poke the enemy mm when they regen with your passive. Forcing them to either hide in their turret or recall, giving you even more advantage. I would recommend having Grenade Management as I tend to overuse my grenades. You can also shoot your grenades into a bush. If there is a sound played as though it has hit something in the bush, it will mean somebody is there. This is good against Ambush Heros in Early Game. Edit: The year is 2024, Tank Karrie is scary af rn. Brody and Bruno have been nerfed. Even Claude was nerfed. I recommend a build with high physical penetration. Crit build Clint may not be as effective.
For the defense items, I usually go with Thunderbelt because it works well with his passive, and/or Bruteforce Breastplate for additional defense and movement speed for Clint.
aegis is a good choice in most cases. It'll help you in a pinch. But I'd suggest you not use it when Esmarelda is on the enemy side. if you activate it she'll take your shield and use it for her own to heal. While it is true that you can Shoot her to the moon despite the fact that she's healing with her shield. What actually is pretty scary is her teammates. If they're smart enough they'll gank and kill you. All she needs is to survive not battle you.
I would advise to use Endless Battle(which is a must) and Thunder Belt always as both of them is best for his passive, it also deals true damage so it does not matter if the opponent is using defensive items. Try to use items that works best with his passive like those two items and other items such as, Blade Of Haptaseas mostly in early game and hunter strike for movement. Remember that you don't need Blade Of Despair to deal high damage for Clint deals enough damage even without it. Also remember you can use Rose Gold Meteor instead of Wind Of Nature. But you would have to use your 2nd skill to trap and stay out of reach and for 2 second if enemy has Wind Of Nature. I prefer Rose Gold Meteor because it also fives magic defense and a shield which gives enough time to kill your enemy with Clint's high damage. But you should use Wind Of Nature if there is more heroes with phy dmg with Rose Gold Meteor would be best. There is many more items that suits Clint like crt items, but that is all I have to say. Also I'm no pro player just a good Clint user.
For me, Clint is literally my most favorite Marksman since he can burst enemy with the right combo, also got seven savages in a single game with him( cause the enemy keeps respawning and I kept killing them over and over again)
Hi Elgin, I'm a fan of the guides specially for the beta server updates you make. I wanna say that Clint can either use Electro Flash or Killing Spree depending on the opponent's lineup, if you see 2-3 beefy enemies on their side, go for Electro Flash because more than likely you wont be able to trigger your Killing Spree passive if you cant kill the enemies. You also want Electro Flash so that you can sustain better against other poke heavy marksmen like Beatrix, Melissa and Wanwan so that you can use the bonus movement speed to run away from them after poking with your passive and sustain from the bonus lifesteal you get every 10 seconds. One item that you did not mention is one of his best key items (take note, I said KEY item not CORE item) ThunderBelt - this item fixes multiple holes in Clint's character - his squishiness, his mana and cooldown needs + bonus pure damage that works well with his passive as it slows opponents down when hit, giving you a semi-reliable way to chase down enemy heroes. Also for his battle spell, it also depends on the opponents, if you see 2 or more deadly CC like Guin, Eudora, Selena, Aldous etc, you want to use Purify, because more often than not when in a game with skilled players they WILL land those disables and melt you down, having Tough Boots, Endless Battle and Thunderbelt will guarantee you turning the tables from the likes of Aldous and Selena. If the enemy team has more burst heroes than stun, you can opt to use Flicker or Sprint, Flicker offering a more instantaneous escape, while sprint provides you with an immunity to slowing effects and a lower cooldown than flicker on top of that, if you know the skill effects and range of heroes you can easily decide wether to choose one or the other.
As a Clint main I just want to share a tip too 😁 I've tried all of the possible build combinations and I found the best one but still it depends on the situation or enemy heroes. Boots, Endless Battle, Berserker's Fury, Malefic Roar, Thunderbelt and Immortality and change the boots to Windtalker in late game as it has 20% movement speed, damage and critical chance. These items really fit him for me, every skill you throw has true damage and life steal from Endless and slow+true damage from Thunderbelt plus critical from Berserker's and penetration from Malefic. Very effective even if you're facing to a squishy or tanky enemies. You'll be tanky but at the same time you have enough damage to burst down tanky enemies. Building a full damage item for me is very risky especially if your dealing with high mobility heroes so what's the purpose of having a huge damage if you can be deleted in a blink. Position yourself, Don't over extend, stay behind your tank as possible and pag babarilin mo sila hahahahand 😁💯🔫🔫 P.S. Soon may collector na sya may survey na eh 🔥
@@alvinverga1140 yes proven and tested in my experience, I only need 3 damage item endless battle, berserkers and malefic, I'd rather build thunderbelt than BOD, it has true damage, slow effect, 10% CD reduction and armor+hp
@@markjames7704 I also use thunderbelt. Our only diff is I use BOD instead of Immortality. I may try your build later as my only problem with Clint is his squishiness. Thanks!
@@alvinverga1140 Yeah sure, then if the immortally pops up I buy Guardian Helmet for HP regen plus higher HP that will benefits thunderbelt passive, higher hp = high true damage
Offtopic, but can you pls try martis jungle? I feel as tho he has so much more potential in the jungle bcz of his ult. But when he’s in the exp lane or roam, he doesn’t rly get to use it alot. Like most strong early game junglers that snowballs, he is a perfect candidate once he unlocks ult. Like a physical Karina, he can come in fights later once one of the enemies are low and finishes them off one by one with ult. And since ur always levels ahead of the enemies as the jungler, u can easily bully them alot atleast in early game. But once it reaches late game, u just have to be patient and let ur team do most of the work until one of the enemies are low again. I just rly wanna see u make a vid of trying him out in the jungle so it might boost his popularity :3 As for emblems, just use the assassin emblem with killing spree talent cuz it’ll be the only sustain he needs in fights and the extra mov spd easily stacks up with his ult. Build can be by ur preference :3
You really want him to make another martis video I see. Personally I'm not too fond of playing neither martis nor jungle so I'm actually curious as to the potential of a martis jungle.
More clint tip - you can use clint's first to blind check bushes as it will still lock on a target if its inside the range of the skill - clint is best known for burst so his best builds does not require any attack speed except for wind of nature - when in a fight against mobility heroes you can trick them to playing their dash skills first then trap them with your second to get away without worrying the enemy has a dash to immediately rush you - as every eudora does, clint will have a better chance at gapping the enemy gold lane if you ambush them in the bush where they would least expect it - clints passive is always a priority over his skills as if you build him very well with damage it can lead to even 2-5 shotting the enemy tank in late games
When i first started playing like July, i brought some heroes under the newbie's discount. Normally, Hanabi is the first hero I tried, then Karrie. They did carried me a bit in ranked even with some MVPs. Tried someone new and picked Clint for a test drive. After adjusting only a month and a half plus with various ups and downs, he carried me to Grandmaster 3, earned tons of MVPs ( even the defeated ones ), was the first person I managed to get to Master, the same person I brought my hard earned fragments for his skin, the same person appeared in various lanes other than gold, and the only person i spend tons of magic dust just to upgrade the marksman emblem for him. I tip my hat for this guy.
Here's a tip I don't see many people follow but I find it useful for ensuring u kill someone, don't use your ult charges immediately after u get it, save them until it reaches an optimum amount, there are many times when enemies were low and I use my ult( because my other skills or on CD), there were no charges, and enemies got away.
As a Clint main, he's amazing at split pushing. So if your team is pretty much busy in teamfighting the turtle in the mid game, splitpush as much as you can. Use your ult stacks to empower your auto attacks and for the auto reset. You can destroy towers faster that way. While split pushing. DO NOT use your second skill for auto resetting unless if you see all five in the opposite side of the map. Wait until someone comes and gank you and try to escape using your second skill instead. If you're ballsy, you can engage your enemy marksman by flickering in front of them, and immobilizing them with your 2nd skill then combo burst them. I wouldn't recommend it though, but I've been playing him since release before the revamps that I've gotten the hang of his kit really well, so that's pretty much second nature to me.
As a top 42 Clint main, All of what he said is right. Also do not forget that any of the upgrades inside the Marksman Emblem is ok with Clint. All of these have advantages for Clint. Also the Fighter emblem is best recommended for Based and Unfair damage. And for the items are. Magic Boots (For faster first and second skill) Endless Battle (For early game damage) Thunder Belt (Optional for enemy Free hit) Berserker Fury (Scaled Passive) Malefic Roar (Scaled Damages) Golden Staff (For faster basic attacks if you finish using all of the skills) Extra items: Twilight Armour (Damaged for damage) Wind of Nature (Defense advantage against physical heroes)
What I'd like to mention as well since the description of the decay ratio of his 1st skill is still isn't fixed, the second bullet at level 1 deals 30% of the 1st bullet's damage while the 3rd and 5th only deals a fixed 5% damage of the 1st bullet's damage even at level 6. And every time Clint's 1st skill gets upgraded, the second bullet's decay ratio gets increased by 5%. So it starts out as 30% at level 1, 35% at level 2, up to 55% at level 6.
When you're using killing spree, build endless battle first. When using weapon master build blade of despair first. I personally use killing spree when facing tanky heroes and weapon master for burst heroes. Clint is a really powerful marksman, utilize his passive. For builds, I don't usually go for berserkers fury and wind of nature. Just mind your positioning and watch out for heroes that can easily disable or burst you in a team fight. When facing strong magical opponent, thunderbelt /Athena's And also my 3 core item for Clint, endless battle, blade of despair and malefic. It depends on the situations, sometimes although you dominate your lane but your exp lane or mid lane feeding the enemies your build is interchangeable. As long as you can read and understand the item's passive you're good to go.
I started using clint a few weeks ago and i suggest to add movement speed to his emblem because I think he is quite slow without it My build is endless battle, berserkers fury, boots according to situation, scarlet phantom, malaefic roar, blade of despair If enemy has something like ling Or saber I suggest thunder belt as second item Clint is easy to use just make sure to utilize his skill 2 properly to trap melee or smaller ranged heroes like moskov
I use the same build but I usually have blade of heptaseas and hunter strike in place of berserker and malefic for the early game. Cause when BOH's passive Ambush is ready, and you use a skill to get Endless Battle's passive- the damage really hurts. Late game I usually swap them out though for better damage scaling.
If you want Movement speed I suggest blade of dispair after building Endless and the assassin emblem with its base movement speed I'll be fine. But if you worry about chasing the. I recommend using your Ult to slow your enemies down. As for ling, it's a gamble, but try to time his combos and of possible stay away from his radar especially fast hands Ling players. If all else fails, rely on second skill.
A good tip: Hide in the bush at the side of the gold lane. ( the lonely bush on top / below the golden crab ) There’s a reason. Although Clint does more dmg when you hit a single target, you want to get your second skill and also hit your target hard. From the side you are not dealing a lot of dmg to minions but also the opposing gold laner.
I've tested a Critical Clint he doesn't have that much power to melt down squishy heroes with 3 skill transitions in my experience and playing style, so I've tried this build: Defence boots, Endless Battle, BOD, the rest I either choose Thunderbelt ,Wind of nature, malefic Roar, wind of nature, Rose gold Mediour or other Defensive items(Immortality, Radiant or Athena). The rest is from good positioning and calm reflexes. With just the first three builds I can practically survive and dominate my lane, most of the time, while having more options for survival or power. Although if I Do go for the Thunderbelt route I'll have double the true damage and Slow effect when I use my ult. But that only happens if I feel the pressure from the other team or they start to stray with that 1% of hp.
Best build i ever used. 2 berserker furies, that new zilongs weapon, bod, malefic roar, bod. Crit damage upto 2500+ on every hit. Melts everything. Tanks too.
I have already mastered 2 out of the BBC squad (Brody, Clint) and I must say I personally liked Clint as he can survive the early game even though he is ganked often. I like to use him to counter Bea and other AS MMs as well. And I abuse his grenades to push towers even if there are no minions around.
I prefer starting battles by using 2nd skill to close in on the enemy, slowing them with thunderbelt passive, before unloading 1st skill and/or ult. Then, because I used 2nd skill first, its cooldown is also done by the time I need it whether for escaping or for pursuing unfinished enemies.
My personal build for him is: 1. Beserker's fury 2. Boots (I usually go for def boots) 3. Endless battle 4. Blade of Despair 5. Thunder belt (yes I use it on Clint, sometimes I swap it for Athena's shield or immortality) 6. Malefic roar The build works really well for every situation
Clint is a god. Bruno was actually once my ultimate hero when I started playing ML. Apart from he's very easy to use, he can go offlane because of his op 1st skill. Nonetheless, after getting know of Clint, he became my main and most played hero overall with almost 900 matches, 57.5% wr. At first, only few people were using him. Thus when I heard the news last year that he's dominating the most picked and banned MM hero in rg, he received a nerf making me to barely utilize him. But I continued playing him again this year. I actually got one of my two dream skins of him, the 'Badminton Champion'. And next month, I'm planning to purchase his starlight skin 'Rock and Roll'. I love the fact that Clint is a meta. Therefore, even if he receive a great amount of nerf in the future patches, I'll never stop using him. Unless the devs make huge adjustments of his skills like make an experiment. It's a no no.
@@azraeiazman Great! Are you a solo player? If you are, perhaps you must be careful of using Clint especially if you want to maintain higher wr because some teammates can't really bear.
what i love to build with Clint is EB, BoH, and BoD. i also place defend items and boots depends on the situation (Tough for resilience, Swift for solo lane clearing, Magic for more 2nd skill blink) i also use Weaknsss Finder talent, and i mostly go far in teamfights to maintain a safe range while dealing supportive amounts of damage
Clint burst build could go for two route, one with Crit while one is penetration. The one with Crit are build with windtalker, Berserker, and BOD, boots and other 2 are your calls as the penetration build i also only bundle it with only 3 main items. The one with crit build are fully build up your crit chance and hit constantly with crit attack, but this build damage only come out when you had all the main item but you still could go for a teamfight since windtalker and berserker could give you good damage scaling at mid game anyway. The penetration build are the one that i use almost all the time since how penetration dominating game after damage calculation had rework. Main items are hunter strike, Endless and BOD. The advantages of this build is your damage are insanely high from starting of game until the end of the games, and your build could go for components small item first then build the last item. For an example, you could build azure blade as first item since mana regen, cooldown and the passive judgement are perfectly fit the passive of Clint, afterwards go for fury hammer as second item because it provides penetration. Based on the situation, you also could do the vice versa like building fury hammer as first item if your laning opponent are losing his lane.
Before M3, I experiment this hero in classic and found that he can scale good damage in early and lead me to Mythic in 2 weeks of playing. I'm glad that it got used in M3. But after some nerfs, I found it useless again because of how bea, irithel, moskov, wanwan can dominate gold lanes now. Good old days that you can melt even tanks with only Endless and Thunderbelt as items on Clint.
Been using clint for quite a while now and i still forget to take advantage of his passive by shooting through lined up targets to hit more targets with it, this video is here to remind me of that
Ang clean ng edits mo sir. Nakakatuwa panoorin compared sa other ML channels. Kada tingin ko ng Elgin upload alam kong quality yung edits kaya pinapanood ko talaga. Keep it up idol!!
Buying thunder belt as the 3rd item is helpful Because you can slow your enemy with the passive of thunder belt and keep poking the enemy And also for keeping you alive
It's 2 years when he started saying " Stay safe and thank you for watching " and it's almost 1 year ago when he started the animation of mlbb which is everyone is waiting for
As a main Clint user this is my item build CD boots Endless battle Hunter strike Heptasis Blade of despair Malefic roar This build useful in high and dry emblem
While endless battle is one of the best items for Clint try to go for blade of despair as first item. And buy 2 mana necklace if you need mana. EB does help but whats use of having EB or Berserker if you total atk is too low. With BOD you can delete 50% hp of people mid game itseld
Clint is my top main marksman because of his basic-skill combo as well as I can outplay most enemies with both Berserker's Fury and 40% CDR build. I mostly became MVP Clint with either full DMG build or my fighter build like this: 1. Magic Shoes 2. Endless Battle 3. Thunder Belt (for both slow, durability, and damage with Endless Battle) 4. Berserker's Fury 5. Bloodlust Axe (I used this to outplay most enemies XD) 6. Wind of Nature or Athena's Shield (if there's magic DMG enemies)
As a past Clint main, you can combo someone by hiding in a bush then using your 2nd skill, then 1rst skill, then lasly your ult. And dont forget to use basic attack when using that combo also if you have inspire use it before the combo
I use endless battle, berserker's fury, and malefic roar for main damage for the whole game and for main defense is thunder belt, and queen's wing or something depends on the situation and my talent is Festival of Blood. Thunder belt works so good because it has a true damage for passive that can also slow plus it has good defense too and cd reduction and because of that he hurts and a little tanky be it mid or late game 👌
As Clint main, I always harras enemies (especially if I'm facing Aldous) whether I'm on exp or gold lane if we are having one-on-one match up in lane and I always last hit any objectives so that the enemies cannot gain much gold. Items: Endless Battle, Berserker's Fury, (Situational Item) War Axe/Malefic Roar/Sea Halberd, Dominance Ice, Rose Gold/Athena's Shield Guardian Angel/Blade of Despair For me good reliable allies: Khufra, Estes, Floryn
@@mariuscaesarcanoza4049 it's my situational item, especially when im facing w/ new meta karrie or when I'm in team fight, it's just optional too. Anyone has it's own play style
Yeah I guess its a dream build but it's kinda bugging seeing Clint with war axe tho no offence but all of the stats I'm gaining from it are only 1/3 it can't rival against bod more weaker than 2 legion swords plus its flat penetration not percentage so the level spike from heroes will make that item useless only for running away from chasers
@@mariuscaesarcanoza4049 I agree, it'll be useless if the user will run. I also recommend the full crit build. But it ain't fun if the enemy team has more solid tank or fighter like uranus, grock, gatot, and minisithar. I build BOD in late game if the game reaches like 20-30 mins to deal more damage. Maybe some of you might laugh why I don't build BOD in early game to deal damage, I just focus on core items Berserks and Endless, and one situational item, and a defense item. Dealing more damage is good but it'll be useless if you're facing meta heroes like Karrie, she is also a bit tanky, she has more attack speed than clint, and attack speed is good w/ life steal items. Now since she had that abilities I'll build sea halberd. But when im facing duel/team fight heroes like minisithar, i build war axe. But anyone can counter with different set of items, if the user has its own good play style, right?
I think you should save guides like this for later because the new emblem system is coming soon to the official, or make the guides include the new emblem system (should be final right now in advance server) so the guides don't obsolete immediately.
Clint is the first marksman I've ever played with besides Layla and Miya and he's the first Hero I've ever got a savage with it warms my heart knowing a hero that has a special place in my heart become so popular I dont want him to ever be nerfed but I know that day will come sooner or later
@@kaiba3612 yes. I'd consider these two items as the core items for clint. Then, you can build berserkers fury and blade of despair(or malefic roar). This will be enough damage for him. After that, build one defensive item as per needed like Athena's shield if the enemy has a burst mage because they would always prioritize you.
For battle spell i most likely to use sprint, since you can use your 2nd skill to go through some wall, and i think it is a better option to encounter chasing assasin. For laning, always use passive for plating or poke the enemy, while prioritize to last hit the minion with his skill. In the mid to late game, i recommend to save the 2nd skill and ult for teamfight, and as always for mm, positioning is key, try to poke the enemy behind wall or your tank.
I have some tips if you using Clint in solo q I always build him semitank 2 defense items since in solo your team may not be trustworthy so 2 defensive items will be good to help him sustain in team fights. For mm emblem you can use all 3 talents. Edit: if you using a semitank build with bod endless battle and malefic roar his damage is still good
I like using that defensive item that deals slow and damage based on hp. (Forgot the name but I know what it does XD I don't really memorise the names of the items.)
Yep it's situational for me for example if they have assassins like Hayabusa Natalia or saber that could instantly delete me I would buy dreadnaught for haya or saber blade armor for Natalia Athena shield if the assassin deals magic damage
if your team have bunch of squishy hero and lack cc, u might want to build thunderbelt instead. pretty useful to keep u and your team in proper positioning during the war
Also Clint's passive can be avoid My build: warrior boots, Endless, Hunter strike, thunder belt, brute force plate or athena, last item depends Malefic, Wind or Immortality. This build is focus on poking rather than burst and it has highest survivability.
As Malaysian No.6 Clint here's my build in this season Warrior Boots , Endless battle ,Blade of Despair, Berseker Fury, Scarlet Phantom and Immortality. Why there is not malefic roar ? Because True damage from Endless is enough to kill the Tanky Heroes. Plus this build is to kill the squishy Heroes like Mages , MM and Assassin s His natural counter is Natalia if you don't have flicker and aegis spell. TQ 🤗
One of the best mm, + his passive goes extremely well with thunderbelt and endless battle + malefic. Here you go a tank killing mm that doesn't need to build dhs. After you've build this 3 items, it's done you can deal dmg have high survivability and enemies making blade Armor or antique cuirass doesn't matter.
And since he realy on his basic attack you can also add clamity reaper which scales from a total 120% magic power to deal true damage unlike endless battle which scales from 60% of the total physical attack if you are planning to play mage clint.
I'm a clint main, Honestly blade of hepates is the first item u wanna buy in the late game switch it out for Hunters strike , it is a very strong early game item allowing one shot in lv5
Clint is one of the heroes which requires a good build to be broken, you're gonna have to keep on farming and trying to steal some kills to be able to destroy people easily early game, though this may be debatable due to Clint's crazy early game damage, he still has to keep on farming till his 6th item or his damage will fall off late-game compared to the enemy team's marksman. You can make attack speed cuild, or life-steal build Clint, but I'd rather burst build Clint due to his passive. He's hard to master that's for sure, he's not like any other marksmen heroes which deals ungodly damage every basic attack, but if you're fed enough mid-game, his damage can easily 3 tap people with 1st skill + basic + 3rd skill. I recommend building Clint with "Thunder Belt" since it provides HP, Mana Regen, 10% CDR, Physical Defense and a passive which easily synergizes his passive. Thunder Belt is good for Clint if you feel like you can get ambushed at any time.
get berserker fury , scarlet phantom , endless battle , bod , maelific roar and windtalker/hunterstrike / boh and your skills do damage as well a s basic attacks and yo lose nothing
If u're against atk speed mm during laning phase and it's 1v1, don't be scared and juzt go poke poke poke them! The passive can also be used to poke tower like Layla and Beatrix sniper
The only "one" marksman that i can use properly either in duo or solo rank ... His skillset is so good that you can easily handle your lane on your own and he has a great early game prowess. I frequently play tank and fighter in solo queue but whenever there's the chance my team won't pick mm i just simply auto-pick clint coz he's the only mm i know how to play properly😁😁
My clint is full damage Armor marksman emblem with phys atk and crit I think? Warrior boots Endless battle Blade of despair Malefic roar Idk why but I take hunter strike instead of boh or any other shiz Lastly berserker for BOOM dmg
1st skill first so that u can use it again after using ult & basic attack. 1st skill, basic attack, ult, BS, ult, BS, ult, BS, ult, BS, 1st skill, BS, ult, BS and for escaping or chasing 2nd skill then BS.
Clint is my favorite MM to play. I'm a mage main, so I'm super cool with a hero that's skill and combo based - I suck with basic attack based ones like Kerrie, Miya, Moskov, Lesley, etc.
I'm gonna be honest I didn't know his 1st skill was free fire I thought it needed to lock on to a target so that Bush checking tip was pretty useful thx Elgin
Good tutorial. I'd say you only missed to mention that Clint benefits a lot from CD reduction items since his ultimate has 5 Charges. The defensive item thunder belt is a solid item for Clint against physical dmg assassins and mobile heroes.
Buy azure blade as first item to get true damage and mana regeneration till you get endless battle. This way you don't face mana problems and damage also stays high
Build im using is Magic Boots, Bloodlust Axe, Endless Battle, Blade of Despair, Malefic Roar and Wind of Nature Now why Bloodlust Axe? His Skillsets Revolve around Spamming his skills to utilize his passive, with only having lifesteal he can only heal during his basic attacks, but with bloodlust he can continously heal when cycling between skills and basic attacks. The Cd reduction further helps with Clint's Skill Cycle. Its may be an unconventional build for clint but i believe this as a good item for clint to have
In reality. You only need these 3 items for offense. -Hunter's Knife -Endless Battle -Beserker's Fury. The rest are defensive items but, you'll need one of those to be "Thunder Belt." Clint is one of those Marksmans that deals consistent damage from early to late. You can build him like Granger to make him more tanky and less prone to bursts. This build usually does the trick for most scenarios.
My favorite thing about Clint is I can abuse thunderbelt and endless battle to have a flexi build. If the game calls for raw damage, I can go all in with damage items, investing in a breastplace or smthn. But when the game consists of bursty enemies, I can opt for a true damage shredding by going all in on HP giving items, keeping me tanky while still having a reliable damage output.
I still remember when everyone hated Clint not because of how op he is now but, because they didn't like his skills and they thought Clint sucked. I have loved Clint since the time he used to laugh throwing grenades. I showed most of my opponents how wrong they were and I still remember even moonton didn't care about him for a long time. Only after some youtubers showed how good Clint is he got recognized and changed their opinion, perspectives on him. I don't even know why am I telling all this but as I've said too much already, I feel like I was the only one who predicted Clint would be nerfcand yes they did nerf him. I hated moonton for it because not for months but after years of ignoring Clint but well they did changed his skills but still didn't buffed him or any other changes in damage for years they decide to nerf him. Just because people started using him and getting kills like crazy. Wtf am I saying and what for? All I wanted to say was, Clint is the best mm ever and will always be no matter how much nerf the do. CLINT forever! ❤
Also,i wanna add this fact that you can alsopoke ur enemies with clints ult not just the passive, plus adding clints ult plus passive is a deadly poker especially when added endless battle equipment.Hope i shared a good v Clint fun fact. :D
When im facing against Beatrix, this could be the counter pick, but it's hard to counter Beatrix using Clint if she uses her dual pistols...Bea's ultimate has long range with high damage and can easily dash near you surprisingly.
although killing spree is a good talent, I personally like using the MM emblem with the weapon masters talent and it hits HARD. also sprint is anothet good choice for battle spell.
I actually prefer using a scarlet phantom on Clint then all burst items. Season End Legend's Solo Queue normally gets you a ton of unorganized teams and tanks that like to wander off. The scarlet phantom allows you to fight solo against an assassin since your DPS is higher with normal attacks once you're fully built. I normally see an assassin, use 2nd to immobilize>Passive>1st>Passive>Normal Attack.....The ult + passive attack damage is weaker than about 3-4 normal attacks that you'd normally have already shot at the same amount of time. Ofc, in a good team just go full burst since you'll most likely be sniping from the back anyway.
Clint is one of the only few marksman that doesn't fall off in any stage of the game . He's strong from early to late game , early his 1skill is enough to poke and dominant the enemy while in late game his passive will start to take over and hits like a truck.
In the early game, using the first skill then basic does 1/3 of their hp for any mm

Agreed. My 4-year-old son loves Clint. We play against AI obviously but damn it does he go ham on those bots XD
Been maining him since the very first version of his kit before the three to four revamps he got and when his first skill can still make enemies miss their auto attacks and his second skill can only slow, not immobilize heroes!
Clint mains, rise up!!
Nice we're all here, clint main aswell
same bro, i'm proud that he gained his recognition

Enemies get slowed while being hit with your basic attacks if you have the Thunderbelt because of his passive.

I just use tough boots tbh and get wind of nature if the enemy team has high damage potential
Athena shield for magic defence
Definitely what I was looking for.
I needed this for ages. Thanks alot.
We need more like this with other heroes.

aegis is a good choice in most cases.
I use endless battle most of the time, but when should I use thunder belt? Or should I use it? At all
I use all the time..
I use wind of nature sometimes only when i meet good mm players or assassin like lance, fanny , beni, nata etc .

As a Clint main I just want to share a tip too 😁
I've tried all of the possible build combinations and I found the best one but still it depends on the situation or enemy heroes.
Position yourself, Don't over extend, stay behind your tank as possible and pag babarilin mo sila hahahahand 😁💯🔫🔫

I just rly wanna see u make a vid of trying him out in the jungle so it might boost his popularity :3
As for emblems, just use the assassin emblem with killing spree talent cuz it’ll be the only sustain he needs in fights and the extra mov spd easily stacks up with his ult.

More clint tip
- you can use clint's first to blind check bushes as it will still lock on a target if its inside the range of the skill
- clint is best known for burst so his best builds does not require any attack speed except for wind of nature
- when in a fight against mobility heroes you can trick them to playing their dash skills first then trap them with your second to get away without worrying the enemy has a dash to immediately rush you
- as every eudora does, clint will have a better chance at gapping the enemy gold lane if you ambush them in the bush where they would least expect it
- clints passive is always a priority over his skills as if you build him very well with damage it can lead to even 2-5 shotting the enemy tank in late games
So that's why enemy clint always hit me even when im in the bush
Clint is the oly MM I used in rank. He has a stronger early game compared to other basic attack dependent mms.

His first skill can also reveal invisible hero like Miya and Natalia. His first skill can also target Lesly's first skill
He overpowered some of the MMs in the meta like granger, and hanabi, also moskov to be exact. His 1st skill alone is terrifying in the early game.

I'm a Clint Main who needed a bit of Resharpening after a ML break. Thank you for this Elgin
Thanks for all the tips. Clint is my fav hero and hoping after watching this to keep moving my rank as the top user of him in our country

When facing strong magical opponent, thunderbelt /Athena's
And also my 3 core item for Clint, endless battle, blade of despair and malefic.
It depends on the situations, sometimes although you dominate your lane but your exp lane or mid lane feeding the enemies your build is interchangeable. As long as you can read and understand the item's passive you're good to go.
I started using clint a few weeks ago and i suggest to add movement speed to his emblem because I think he is quite slow without it
My build is endless battle, berserkers fury, boots according to situation, scarlet phantom, malaefic roar, blade of despair
If enemy has something like ling Or saber I suggest thunder belt as second item
Clint is easy to use just make sure to utilize his skill 2 properly to trap melee or smaller ranged heroes like moskov
Ling is Squishy even if it equips a defense item
Does thunder belt give enough defense to fight with ling or other assassins as you mentioned? Thanks
Thanks, Elgin for another Tutorial video, I Really appreciate your contribution... Helps us learn new heroes...
I always use the claws of Hass, so I can recover hp without having to base as often in the early game
I've tested a Critical Clint he doesn't have that much power to melt down squishy heroes with 3 skill transitions in my experience and playing style, so I've tried this build:
Defence boots, Endless Battle, BOD, the rest I either choose Thunderbelt ,Wind of nature, malefic Roar, wind of nature, Rose gold Mediour or other Defensive items(Immortality, Radiant or Athena).
Tanks too.
one shot kill on any mage and mm with zero defence item.
My personal build for him is:
1. Beserker's fury
2. Boots (I usually go for def boots)
3. Endless battle
4. Blade of Despair
5. Thunder belt (yes I use it on Clint, sometimes I swap it for Athena's shield or immortality)
6. Malefic roar
The build works really well for every situation
I actually have the same build, but in a different order. Good build :)
i get 2 crit and a situational item
900 matches with 57.5% wr is pretty good. Mine is 700 matches, 62.5% wr. 130 on local rank. Clint is op
@@azraeiazman Great! Are you a solo player? If you are, perhaps you must be careful of using Clint especially if you want to maintain higher wr because some teammates can't really bear.
what i love to build with Clint is EB, BoH, and BoD. i also place defend items and boots depends on the situation (Tough for resilience, Swift for solo lane clearing, Magic for more 2nd skill blink)
i also use Weaknsss Finder talent, and i mostly go far in teamfights to maintain a safe range while dealing supportive amounts of damage
I don't recommend building BoH, hunterstrike is a better alernative, both give pen and you lose out on a bit of damage but the speedboost helps a ton
does Clint's 2nd skill scales with magic items?
@@yoriichiT Yes it does. You can check this in the game.

4. Berserker's Fury
5. Bloodlust Axe (I used this to outplay most enemies XD)

Sacrificing which item? And how would the build go? Please provide the full build thank you! 🥲
Also Clint's passive can be avoid
My build: warrior boots, Endless, Hunter strike, thunder belt, brute force plate or athena, last item depends Malefic, Wind or Immortality. This build is focus on poking rather than burst and it has highest survivability.
A mm should only deal damage not chip the enemies hp while being hard to kill
As Malaysian No.6 Clint here's my build in this season
Warrior Boots , Endless battle ,Blade of Despair, Berseker Fury, Scarlet Phantom and Immortality.
Why there is not malefic roar ? Because True damage from Endless is enough to kill the Tanky Heroes.
Plus this build is to kill the squishy Heroes like Mages , MM and Assassin s
His natural counter is Natalia if you don't have flicker and aegis spell.
Funfact: Did you know clint 2nd skill also scales from magic items. Its scales up to wapping 150% of the total magic power.
And since he realy on his basic attack you can also add clamity reaper which scales from a total 120% magic power to deal true damage unlike endless battle which scales from 60% of the total physical attack if you are planning to play mage clint.
WTF
100% teammates trashtalk scaling
I'm a clint main, Honestly blade of hepates is the first item u wanna buy in the late game switch it out for Hunters strike , it is a very strong early game item allowing one shot in lv5
Clint is the only Marksman that i can use so this information really useful
@@delusionofillusion473 watch me die to a nearby camping eudora (troll face)
@@dam1070 you can get an athena shield , but odds are that she will still one shot you , so dont check bushes like that
As a Clint main this is a correct tips for newbies let your tank protect you and don't go solo while there is litteraly 5 enemies on you
One of my favorite hero.... Whom I never doubt in losing.... 🥰🥰🥰
If u're against atk speed mm during laning phase and it's 1v1, don't be scared and juzt go poke poke poke them! The passive can also be used to poke tower like Layla and Beatrix sniper
If i chase an enemy, i like to use 2-Sprint-1-3
(Skill 2, use sprint, skill 1, and ultimate skill 3.)
My clint is full damage
Armor marksman emblem with phys atk and crit I think?
Warrior boots
Endless battle
Blade of despair
Malefic roar
Idk why but I take hunter strike instead of boh or any other shiz
Lastly berserker for BOOM dmg
5:38 That Karina is a mood tho ngl, deserve
Tigreal Guide Sir Elgin this tank is one of my main and one of the easiest heroes
he's a terrifying hero paired with lifesteal items
Good tutorial. I'd say you only missed to mention that Clint benefits a lot from CD reduction items since his ultimate has 5 Charges. The defensive item thunder belt is a solid item for Clint against physical dmg assassins and mobile heroes.
When should I build it accordingly? And which item should I swap for thunder belt? thanks
Buy azure blade as first item to get true damage and mana regeneration till you get endless battle. This way you don't face mana problems and damage also stays high
Build im using is Magic Boots, Bloodlust Axe, Endless Battle, Blade of Despair, Malefic Roar and Wind of Nature
Now why Bloodlust Axe? His Skillsets Revolve around Spamming his skills to utilize his passive, with only having lifesteal he can only heal during his basic attacks, but with bloodlust he can continously heal when cycling between skills and basic attacks. The Cd reduction further helps with Clint's Skill Cycle. Its may be an unconventional build for clint but i believe this as a good item for clint to have
This video tells me that I should pick up my favorite Marksman again
Playing clint for weeks straight now, didn't know about the cd red on his second skill
It's 40% if it connects also build items that give you at the very least 20% CD
*The OG King of Marksman's🔥*
In reality.
You only need these 3 items for offense.
-Hunter's Knife
-Endless Battle
-Beserker's Fury.
The rest are defensive items but, you'll need one of those to be "Thunder Belt."
Clint is one of those Marksmans that deals consistent damage from early to late. You can build him like Granger to make him more tanky and less prone to bursts.
This build usually does the trick for most scenarios.
If theres front liner just use full dmg so more dmg
@@dr0wn8888 why do that, when you can reposition?
@@negativeplayer4446 just tip for you guys who play clint like playing hylos
@@dr0wn8888 what? Hylos?
What?
@@negativeplayer4446 my recent match just straight up miya front liner and most op meta layla tank

amazing video💯💯💯 nice game idol💪💪👍👍 Support from Malaysia🌠🌠🌠
Thank you kuya Elgin kaya kona mag combo sa clint mag rarank up nako❤
Also,i wanna add this fact that you can alsopoke ur enemies with clints ult not just the passive, plus adding clints ult plus passive is a deadly poker especially when added endless battle equipment.Hope i shared a good v
Clint fun fact. :D
Clint really benefit from Thunder Belt and i suggest you build it or athena shield
Super fast clint guide
I bought clint yesterday and Elgin made a video on how to use him.
When im facing against Beatrix, this could be the counter pick, but it's hard to counter Beatrix using Clint if she uses her dual pistols...Bea's ultimate has long range with high damage and can easily dash near you surprisingly.
almost everyone use Renner thinking they're pro at aiming those
although killing spree is a good talent, I personally like using the MM emblem with the weapon masters talent and it hits HARD. also sprint is anothet good choice for battle spell.
Same bro
after WW being ban every match, Clint is the guy who saves the day
and its very fan to use him
Yes my favorite Marksman hope that moonton won't nerf/adjust him again
