Hey I just found this chanell and your covers are really good. The chanell description says that you are okay with using the songs if you ask first and are credited. So if it's ok with you I would like to use several of them for background music in one of my videos. I would link them all in the description. Let me know if this is ok with you and keep up the great work! ^-^
I tend to hum the note that I am listening for. While tuning a note block, I stop clicking once the pitch matches what I'm humming. So yes, I make my covers by ear, listening for and dissecting one layer at a time
@@NoteBlockMatt Just a suggestion, maybe you could be more efficient if you had a keyboard to check the notes alongside the noteblock music Also playing by the ear is impressive
I actually used to do that! (pictured here: th-cam.com/video/s-J6yiiisS8/w-d-xo.htmlsi=ecEhA9sWypNO5g6B&t=144 ) While it was more in-tune than my humming, it took more time
How about tutorial on drums? I know redstone enough to make it automatically switches between drumming and not drumming: like going to different parts of the song, but I don't know how to make a drum cover 😢
I haven't included the percussion/drum layer in my tutorials in order to keep things simple, but basically, you'll want to use stone, sand, and glass blocks beneath note blocks. Stone = bass drum, sand = snare drum, and glass = hi-hat/click (I personally prefer to use a high-tuned snare as my hi-hat). Keep the snare tuned low to use as a backbeat.
I got an suggestion for a note block song/cover. Pirates of the carabirian theme song. I completely spelled that wrong 😂😂 but i hope you get what i mean.
I like the idea of ITMG to play note blocks with hands and this will be the most difficult thing to play... But the tutorial is gorgeous thanks to your team for that! And do you know any datapacks or addons for more octaves?
Feel free to leave any suggestions for me to improve future tutorials. I want them to be easy for anyone to understand and follow along
@@NoteBlockMatt Can you give us world download please ??
Have you ever considered making a Note Block 101 to show all of the tips and tricks for newcomers?
Yes, I have. Something like that would take tons of time and planning, but it's on my list of things to do eventually.
@@NoteBlockMatt GIMME YOUR SECRETS

Yes, you can. Thank you for asking first
Thx for the tuto❤
Hey matt to create these covers do you use some instrument to check the notes before going into minecraft? Do you actually create everything by ear?

@@NoteBlockMatt So you just practiced converting musics to noteblock for so long that you dont even need a keyboard? Insane
