Chase is a good dude, I did not know he struggled early in life. I like him even more now.
You should look up to me then if you're out here looking for struggle babies
@@ChrisWilliams-kq9qq I do look up to you Chris
I was already a fan of Chase, but like Anthony said, this made him more relatable and likable for me.
Who knew, Chase just gained a lot of new fans
This interview made me like Chase even more. I will always root for this dude!!
Mad respect to you Chase
Boys, fantastic representation of the MMA community. Respect.
Hoop's story does matter. He may not want to be seen as a victim or whatever, but winning through struggle is an honorable story.
Got a lot of respect for Chase after this interview, He seems like a good dude, very grounded kid
That was amazing. I just became a Chase Hooper fan and I will root for him even more now. ❤
Didn't know Chase had such a tough upbringing. Very inspirational story and like Anthony said it makes sense now why he fights the way he fights!
Wow! I had no idea about Chase’s difficult upbringing. I’m sure people have been stereotyping him as just some privileged young white kid that had things handed to him. My respect meter for him blew up! 🤯
Best interview I've seen with Hooper. Best interview I've seen from Bisping & Smith. Great jobs all around. Way more of a fan of Hooper now and I was already.
He’s filling out, the striking is coming along, but the grappling is crazy good. Great story. Good luck Chase. Keep going!
A real and natural conversation which makes for some of the best sport coverage I’ve seen. You can really sense how proud Bisping feels on Hoopers behalf, and how Smith wants to help his marketability, but from a very noble and empathetic place. Loved this conversation.
Chase finally grew into his body but who knew his mindset was years ahead
Great interview, I too believe Chase should share his story, one can’t help but like him even more knowing what he went through.
Anthony should mentor Chase, you can see he was touched by his story
Chase dropped Borschev in the first, showing his power has improved. And his grappling is a force to be reckoned with. He has a great attitude and bright future 💪
Well done Chase! You are the freakin man, keep being you!
I admire Chase! He retained his youthful charm, honesty, and integrity despite enduring a brutal, tumulus background. He’s been through Hell and back without become jaded, bitter and hardened. Very impressive! He made a true fan out of me today. I wish him all the best.
Always liked Chase from the Contender series appearance, like him even more now, what a humble, honest, hardworking guy 👏👏👏
Hoooooooop!!! Good scrap kid , statement there
New Chase Hooper fan here. Go Chase !!!
Love how genuine Chase H is . Brother ... there are a BUNCH of us out here riding Solo. Keep the Faith.... your REAL Family, youll see soon enough.
One!
he is 20 years old i’m sure there is a lot of trauma still when taking about it but man that is a powerful story
Such a legend
Crazy story.. happy for the lad
Great interview guys!!!! Chase is one of the most likable guy around. We all hope he sticks to the bright side of life, not falling into dark negative sh*t. Thanks!
Hooper vs Paddy would be FIRE!
Damn Chase seriously is such an impressive guy! Recognizing not only his mothers illness's but his fathers subsequent co-dependency he did the only thing there is to do if you don't want to end up sick yourself, by detaching.
What a G 🫡 all best to him
Love HOOPS man. So glad he got it done, he deserved a 50k bonus imo.
Mike and Antony really giving the younger fighters a platform mint episode and top podcast!!!!
Now we are rooting for Chase a just a little more.
I'm twice his age and half the man Chase is. Seems like a good kid. Good for him. Hope he finds a lot of happiness in life. Good on ya kid
I knew Chase was cool but I didn't know he was this cool! I already liked the dude but I think I'm a legit fan now lol.
Definitely a Chase fan now! 🔥🔥🔥
Chase is the man
His story resonates with so many people if he told it more he would have so many more eyes on all of his fights
Damn I liked this kid from day one but now who wouldn't want him to win it all.
Chase is a great human and fighter
What a guy!
How can you not be a fan of that guy!! Count me in
Pat Miletich was quoted in Sam Sheridan's book A Fighter's Mind as follows: "There are some guys out there that are from normal families that are still animals and smash people, but usually it helps if you have a shitty life. If somebody's starving, then somebody else if getting his ass kicked."
Would love to see Chase drop down and face Sean O'Malley
Good luck to him 🤞
This kid is talented and has skills. What he misses is power. You could clearly see it in this last match (his opponent has a chin I know but still)
Wtf? He beat the sbsolute shit out of slava and dropped him as well. He definitely got some power now
@@ghagzor I am talking about finishing power. Dropping someone that will not be able to stand up again. Put someone to sleep
Such a nice chap
Cool guy! I'm a new fan!
Hooper the man
It’s actually insane this dude is only around a year or 2 older than me but is a fkn grown man 😂
he made a damn statement!!!
No idea chase came from this. What a decent kid.
Bisping is the best
Chase is a beast
My birthday is June 17th congrats chase
There so many kids like chase and myself.
Never give up
Man he’s got good Jiu Jitsu
Bisping is the goat
Anthony smith*
He kept his eye on the prize.
At drinking beer
@Alsmithize Still more belts than you
@@Mando-qb4ps and probably more beer
I like your content, but why do you have to clickbait and put false thumbnails? This is Roman Kopylov not Chase Hooper...
😂
Kopylovers unite! 💯🔥💪
To keep these viewers coming back I used to love all these guys back in the day I remember when Michael first got here everybody was like who's that guy with the weird accent I remember when Chael Sonnen was a nobody nobody had ever heard of him these guys are TH-camrs now LOL it's weird seeing these guys you used to watch post videos on TH-cam it's just weird it still feels weird
That’s Ben Askrens son from his high school gf silly
Great kid
His BJJ is very good for MMA
lionhearted telling chase having a girl is like having an abusive spouse in the house so get ready for that after chase shared his story of growing up I a trailer with an bipolar abusive mom and how she terrorized his father and him was the most awkward closure ever.
the entire closure is two grown men fanboying on a kid so hard while trying to be father figure big bro energy was too funny. fair enough though chase has a hell of a clarity and humility about himself that must be intimidating to people caught off guard in media that are used to dealing with egos' not spiritual composure like our homie chase rockin with
Chase hooper is gonna be the new left hook Larry
What a nice bloke! Chase I mean😂
I llke chase even more now ive heard that story
So Chase is just a neutral positive sean Strickland eh 😂♥️
Hope Chase will learn how to properly market himself cause he can definitely back it up in the cage but you don't want to be the guy they put on featured prelims all the time and nothing more than that.
Dont know why Chase doesnt tell his story, but for me i was always embarrassed to talk about my problems
Ben askrin did a good job raising him
Dude needs a decent matchup\win he's been fightin the bottom fighters for like half a decade ha
My dad was also the beta submissive type. To this day I feel shame of my father. I'm a fan of Hooper from here on out.
i thought case was a rich brat, boi I was i wrong hat of to you!
I thought he was a Beverley hills ninja type.. not trailer trash.. so what does that say about me. Looking forward to this journey. Bisping looks in a lot of pain with his neck.. that's the price these folks pay for our blood lust.. what does that say about us
Wow had no idea chase wasn't a trust fund rich kid, I felt like this was just a hobby for him or like Dana white signed him out of pity or like how cm punk was I thought hooper was just a freak show, who knew he ever struggled, I figured he lived an extremely wealthy, sheltered life, wow.
Bisping dude don’t interrupt Chase as he is telling a compelling story. Learn just to sit back and Zip it.
Chase gets better with every fight but his needs to bring his hands back to his face. Better strikers will pick him apart.
My son is due in aug. if it was gunna be a girl we were going to name her Ellie 😊 😂
Chase, fix those noodle arms. Learn how to ground and pound, that will level you up.
Tell that to anybody, Henry Sudo fought Peterson stopped it with two potato punches, no impact cheap TKO
Idk why but he gives me super bad vibes 😂
His voice is almost painful to listen at.
God bless everyone ❤
Vulnerability like chase is showing is dope 💯😊
