In my eighth short report from the International Gauge 1 Meeting 2023 at the Technik Museum Speyer, I show two new adult toys from KM1 Modellbau on a scale of 1 to 32. After that, two variants of the Ardelt 57t steam crane, which is now about to be delivered, can be experienced in action with smoke and sound.
After I am repeatedly asked in comments what the models shown cost. The 74 series has an RRP of 2390 euros (or three variants 2515 euros). The Ardelt 57t steam crane has an RRP of 5999 euros.

Der Kran ist ein tolles Modell und auch Spielzeug für große Jungs...😊 Gibt's so eine Maschine eigentlich noch in Original? Als Metaller interessiert mich die Technik dahinter...🤔

Die vier Ardelt 57-Tonnen-Dampfkräne wurden alle 1978/79 ausgemustert, aber vielleicht gibt es irgendwo noch alte Videos von den Vorbildern - von einem gibt es auch Fotos von vor ein paar Jahren aus dem Technik Museum Sinsheim - ob er dort aber immer noch steht, weiß ich leider nicht.
