Welcome back all to part 2 of my exploration around the Origins of Chaos & the Warp. (timestamps below) In part 2 of 3 we look into the initial stages of the War in Heaven and the Eldar War in Heaven. We are also exploring Eldar Mythology, and what it means to be Eldar. Much of the details in this and the first video will be fleshed out further in the final video. We will also conclude the War in Heaven in part 3 as it leads us into the time of Eldar Dominion and The Fall. I still apologise for my voice - I am working to heal and recover my vocal cords currently. I hope you enjoy!

An in depth look at each primarch's individual story, unique attributes, their chapter/legion and the chapter/legion's history, formation and unique attributes. Story behind aesthetics of each regarding their armour, name etc. Maybe even an episode on the sororitas ?

A thought to consider Luetin09. I was reading A Thousand Sons by Graham McNeill in the Horus Heresy Novels. There was one point of interest where the Primarch Magnus made his way to Terra across the Warp. Upon Reaching Terra he found a doorway but could not get it. Then a huge titanic power aided him. This unnamed power was eternal and most importantly BENEVOLENT. Magnus notes how the Warp is a place on contradictions and that there are powers in the warp that are malicious as well as beneficial, if one knows how to differentiate. This is coming from that book on Page 439. With what you have said in your video it suggest that good gods can come from the warp. That same section I mentioned also states that dreams are connected to the warp, at least for humans. This in turn suggests that the Eldar could indeed have "dreamed" their gods into existance, from the warp, and that these warp gods were beneficial, for the most part. What do you think?

By what you’ve said about the Aeldari gods, the Emperor is certainly an example of one : a potent psychic weapon against Chaos.
So we get a good example of why there are no “good,” gods : they have to be actively created, and Chaos exists in the lack of such activity.

    Dear Luetin
First of all, I love your content. It is highly entertaining and lifts the whole discussion to a new level. It is sometimes more like a philosophical debate than pure lore telling content.
But I think one thing gets out of sight here. Besides the fact that probably warp and all is a mirror of humanity and we are fighting ourselfs, standing to the emporer is rather a quoiston of objective arguments then a question of standing to humanity itself. I believe that the imperium has made its mistakes. Like any empire ever before the empirium is a faceless construct held together by an idea. The idea is that humanity needs a home. Someone who stands up for them. And the expression of that idea is the emporer himself. Representented by every imperial soldier, astartes or civilian. Even if humanity fights against itself and the emporer has his flaws and that humanity didn‘t managed to become that secular society it might have could become, humnity does - unless the eldar - fight back. For the emporer!

This is a great video. I had thought when I was a kiddo the Eldar deities were literally warp gods like Slaanesh, and then later as the Necron stuff came out thought of them more like the first batch of Eldar. I love how you present information in a way that allows for viewers to really think about things themselves and how their want Their Guys™ to be. Are they Old One Bio Weapons, are they the early imaginings of the Eldar, are they gods, are they metaphors? Does it matter, do the Eldar even know? Is there even a real answer? Maybe not but it's the journey of thinking and imagination that's the more interesting part than the destination of This Is The Canon Answer.
I think an interesting idea regarding Good Warp deities could also be that the Eldar Gods were the good ones, with aspects like Compassion, Justice and Protection, and that part of the reason why the universe is so grim dark now is that those deities and the concepts they represent were literally killed and devoured. That isn't based on anything specific, just a fun thing to think about as the warp is a reflection of psyche then people become influenced by those concepts and beings. Which just feeds the cycle as less people believe in those concepts of goodness, which makes the universe worse, which continues the cycle anew.
This video is a really fantastic breakdown of a lot of things (like the Falcons and Hawks) I've read probably about a dozen times as new books come out over the years, and connects the dots in ways that now seem obvious but when reading them as a kid I just completely missed.
I think your "connect the dots metaphor" regarding fan fiction is also really apt. If you connect all the dots the way they are numbered, we can place more dots in between them on the lines, and we can also place dots slightly off the lines where we would think they go, and that can result in a picture with more curves and accuracy to what we feel the picture should look like. When we start putting dots wherever we want with no regard for the current lines, it results in something that just doesn't match at all.
    A+ work, can't wait to watch a Part 3

ive always thought the stylistic similarities between khaine and khorne were worthy of investigation. sadly, theres nothing solid to suggest a connection. the only theory that fits into things for me is that khorne was born as a mirror of khaine. you could also consider that "barrier" that was erected to separate gods and mortals to be a reference to the changing nature of the warp and the difference between the warp as seen during the wars in heaven and the warp post-slaanesh. another idea is that they really were one in the same, but as the warp changed, so too did they.
again though, theres nothing in canon to give any real credit to this, its all just correlation.

As I understand it, Khaine's avatar may be a psychic manifestation of an unshackled Aeldari survival instinct to fight when the need is dire. This makes sense to me. Giving yourself over to fight or flight is powerful and dangerous for humans. For a species with enormous and barely constrained psychic power, it would be even more so.

I deem myself as an eldar, I live life with a intensity That feels almost alien to my close people. I feel love fully, I feel hate with whrath, and I can't escape of the closed loop of infinite pleasure and love, joy ; with the darkest side of despair, hate, and violence That my life is.
I do not wish this to anyone, as I venture myself into the great journey I find only That im missunderstood and alone; my dreams are more vivid that anyone I've had ever spoken too, proud? Ego? Dont be a fool. Im a lone old soul wondering what I've done to deserve this blessing That happends to be my hell.

Tzeentch is based off of an amalgamation of Nyarlathotep and Yog-Sothoth
      Khorne's a f-balrog. We all know it.

Ok the whole thing about the warp part was latterly a physics lesson about (and repeted roughly 5 times) paradoxes and loops , so I pressed on to watch this one, and litterly the information is so scattered i thought it was made on a dry erase board with finger paints. Will you love of god , just put it in choronological order WITH in reason. back tracking 2 milenia at a time is frustraiting to listen to when you go on about one event , then to fast forward , go 90% into another event , then back track it to the one before.

It seems like, to use your description of aspects of the warp being tethered to events in the Materium, certain points in time are tethered to the good in the Warp, and certain points of time (aka the 41st Millennium) are tethered to the evil in the Warp.

the whole idea of the warp with its "everything is happening at the same time and nothing is happening at all" and " there is no time" just does not work. Its neet and sounds cool but when we take it literally it wouldnt work. Because when there is no time there is nothing happening ... things wouldnt move forward or backwards. They wouldnt move at all. In fact time does not exist seperate from the material world but is an byproduct of the material world existing. I always thought of the Warp as something that. as the name suggests., warps time and space. Wich means time exists but just heavily warped and entangled. But Stuff still happens in a somewhat linear fassion.

I thought each god was actually both the positive and negative emotions surrounding a theme? so they're all both good and bad all rolled into one? and actually there is no concept of good and bad there anyway, and it's just our puny, human brains trying to make sense of it.
I really don't think they are evil at all, at least not intentionally. It's just how it ends up on our end.
Essentially though I always seen each god has having both pos and neg traits.

The issue with these threads about people debating the Warp gods as not being evil is this...
If they truly embodied anything other than evil, then why do we never, in ANY instance, have benevolent actions that represent aspects of their nature. If Nurgle was truly as neutral as people are trying to claim, then why are there no acts that would veer into benevolence or kindness that also adequately represent new life and growth, and instead the acts are strictly designed to be as baleful as possible. Y'all are trying to put a gray tinge to the black, and then arguing that "oh well it's open to interpretation" when cornered.

i have been struggling with this for a while, but in 41K there is no way for necrons to replenish their fallen troops right ? they can't reproduce ? if one of them dies (a damage beyond what the living metal can ever recover from), like their bodies are completely destroyed or their soul torn apart ... that necron is gone for good and they will not have the ability to replace him, right ?

Since the warp is untangled time and causality, all of the Mythologies are true.
That's the point. Each faction is correct in thier version of warp events, all while disbelieving the other, while knowing that the warp is every unreal and real time line at once.
Eldar have cognitive dissonance issues literally with unreality.
