41 years and you still here my lord, rescuing me each and everyday
I doubt i was born yet when this was released. Growing up my siblings would play these songs in the car using audio cassettes and i played them on my Sony walkman. Now am an adult and technology has changed but "He still comes to my Rescue" even in 2019.
I think I was in 3 or 4th grade when I first heard it. I'm 39 now and still touches me the same way.

Four of us guys from our church choir formed a Barbershop Quartet in the mid-80s. We did mostly church events and some community groups. We started off just doing some old time gospel numbers. Then, as we got more gigs outside of church activities, we decided to keep doing some of the gospel tunes but we also added some more contemporary songs that were fun to do and didn't have any offensive lyrics. Beach Boys, and other songs like that with great harmonies in them. But I had been listening to several Christian acappella groups even before we formed our quartet...mostly Glad, Acappella, and AVB (Acappella Vocal Band...not the same as Acappella). So one day I introduced the other guys to some of the songs from these 3 groups. We didn't do too many of them...a half dozen or so. But this was one of the first ones we decided to learn (along with Glad's "And Can It Be"...which you can find on TH-cam as well). It was a lot of fun to perform these songs that most people had never heard before.
