Nobody has used them for at least 10 years - 5 pin locks aren't used much anywhere in the world. They were surpassed by the Ruko 600, and later the Ruko 1200. The Ruko 500 was EXTREMELY vulnerable to bumping.
@@eidodk They're fun to pick though, so I don't see how is it relevant that they're not used anymore. Besides the 600 and 1200 can be picked just the same. You would also probably be very surprised how many 5pin schlages are the default lock in US
I got a couple of these. One with gins and the other with barrels. Thought of turning 1 into a CL. Nice job using the 2 gut wrenches, I always expect to impale myself with it, a flathead screwdriver, but I would recommend the c clip pliers if you don't have a pair. 🦾🤘👍
Yes I learned the 2 gut wrenches screwdriver the hard way :D .. honestly if you don't have the pliers it's the best thing for those thicc assa / ruko cclips. also spreads them only in 1 axis so you can bend the cclip back with normal pliers easily.
I love the old Ruko 500s especially the sleeved ones, nice picking too.
Thanks for sharing this cool lock😎✌️
Great and detailed video, great explanations👍
Thanks for sharing and last but not least, nicely picked too 👌
