I was a classic car and motorcycle restoration engineer and part of my work was machining, none of that CNC stuff, proper machining 😉 with Colchesters and Bridgeports etc .
We used to remanufacture brand new out of production prewar engines from scratch and I had to machine what came back from the foundry into engine shaped bits.
I was trying to figure out what those engine blocks were coming out from the casting process near the end of the video, it's hard to see and even get a scale but I wondered if they were either the old BMW 2.0 straight six (as found in the old prewar 319,327 etc) or possibly if the scale is bigger, something like a Deutz 6 diesel?

Exactly what I just said to my dad when I sent it to him. He used to listen to it around all the usual Pink Floyd, Black Sabbath, Deep Purple etc. I did a computer science a level when I was 13, burnt out then did mechanical engineering. Machines & technology are so cool.

The ending is pretty abrupt, other than that it's a great track. I never thought I'd hear Blixa Bargeld in a collaboration like this but I'm digging the result. A very pronounced Kraftwerk/Neu! vibe going on here.

Wow, this is PSB gone heavy metal! Almost like Vangelis & AC/DC at one point! Fantastic work, sounds like it's mixed Kraftwerk's The Voice Of Energy! Weird, had Blixa on the mind after watching the Sky Arts Hansa Studios documentary the other week. Highly recommended anyone to watch that documentary. One criticism, this track not have died at the end. It should have reprised for another good five minutes. Would like to make my own edit like years ago with cassette tape cut up versions from tape to tape.

Amazing but just too short, the time went to quickly to dive into that mood of PSBHQ and Blixa, a mix of you, Einstürzende Neubauten and a bit of Kraftwerk. A symbiosis of British and German music - I hope we'll can hear more in future!?
(... I'm thinking espacially of "People will always need coal" which hits also German history hand in hand with the British one)

    Great Track!
Too bad that Blixa uses such poor grammar: »Formen den neuen Mensch« and »Lassen frei den neuen Mensch« instead of »[…] den neuen Mensch*en*«. Sure, there is freedom in poetry and art, but it still hurts a bit to a german listener … :-)
