Based on Oliver’s method,I tried going through charts of various stocks/indices of the past day or two.(must say,After profiting from few days of trading based on it)
But what I now notice is,there are so many false breakouts with elephant bars where we’d end up losing money multiple times before getting to the real deal.How do we handle that?Or is it that we dont trade choppy periods?
And secondly,the stop loss saves us on false breakputs from bigger losses,but the placement mentioned is also preventing profits as true breakouts are turning around,triggering our stop losses and then turn back again for a bigger move.
What am I missing here?
P.S-This is my observation from just the past 2 days

Now simple I feel like they are professional but they seem to use alot of fundamental analysis. And some technical analysis I just asking in your opinion how can you trade say 2min charts using fundamental. Also can I trade just becoming a technical analysis master? Thank you

Really a great information from you, Oliver. Is it necessary that one have to take only with 2 min TF or one can trade in 3 min or 5 min TF. And if you change the TF to 3 or 5, should the SMA 20 & 200 be changed or will that be the same? Please advise. Awesome learning in this 2 and a half hours. Many gratitude to you.
