This is a very good show. I originally watched the first episode, and I just didn't like it, but I kept reading reviews talking about how good it was, so I decided to watch a second episode, by the end of the second episode, it got me interested, and the next episode is a trip, after that, I went on to finish the series. I really enjoyed it. The M and F leads, are suppose to have a huge age gap, but in reality, they are only 2 years apart. She does a really good job playing much younger than she is, and him older. If you like love stories, then this one is very unexpected, and very unique. The ML isn't interested in women, or men for that matter. He has no desire for a relationship. Keep this in mind while watching the show. The FL chases after him from the first episode, and he does everything he can to put her off. They both do such a good job with their roles, and it's quite funny, I don't remember anything being sad, and there is a happy ending. So if your looking for a good show to watch, that's different than most, this is the one for you. Title is: Go Go Squid!

The 2 of them keep getting thrown together, and it's all really well done. I like their love story, it's very different, and very funny!
I find the novel better than the drama. Just because the FL Is a cute girl and the type that is anime style cute. She'll wear skirts in the winter. I don't think yang zi suits this style. They made yang zi seem cute but to me it's not. Even with all the pink I just don't think she is. I don't like the bag she carries as well. It's too big. Doesn't look cute. She's also always wearing a jumper. So it makes her look big. The novel is just way better in my opinion. But i do like the OST of the drama.

That was a cute drama....I have not seen the sequel because I don't think it is as good, even if the cast is great. Aside from FL wardrobe ( which is borderline criminal), they managed to make the most predictable story very entertaining .
I personally like the novel better. When the drama came out I watched it all. Even several times. But I've already read the novel before it came out so I already know the plot. Yang zi is okay. But to me personally the 2 leads don't suit the image of the characters. Tong nian is a cute, anime style.l, loli type of girl. I think with long hair. And wears skirts. Yang zi is always wearing a jumper and it makes her look bigger. And she's always wearing a big school bag that is not cute. According to the character, a small bag would've made more sense. As it is cute and fashionable. And Han shengyan is suppose to have long hair. Not really long but like the manga hair type. But overall the drama is ok. But I still prefer the novel. I hope you guys check it out if you like the drama. Won't be disappointed.

I personally like the novel better. When the drama came out I watched it all. Even several times. But I've already read the novel before it came out so I already know the plot. Yang zi is okay.
