I think beating the timer should give +1 crest. And each level above the initial m+ level gives another crest. Like M3 gives +1 crest over m2. This way pushing a little bit harder is rewarded. Instead in season 3 I avoided doing 20s for portals until I was overgeared because spamming 18s just made more sense.
again. the issue is with players on the lower end. players who regularly only play keys around 0-5 will never be able to reasonably complete their gear, while people who play higher keys blast nonstop anyways and shouldn't need the extra crests(even though its annoying if you don't) what you really want is to reward players on the lower end and lower the rewards for higher end players (regarding crests), but that also just feels shitty to get less for more work and also leads to degenerate gamplay choice (namely spamming as low as possible keys nonstop) crests in my opinion are just a trashy way and currency. either way. the reward has to be difficulty agnostic. you just get x amount of crests - no matter the level and no matter the sucess or speed

I hate waking up 3 hours after a patch and being infinitely behind Huge L on the upgrade reduction announcement, not the idea but the execution. It takes months to be fully done with even drakes crests unless you are doing 10 runs a day. Because you only loot them when done with aspects, if you are the kind of player doing 10 runs a day it barely matters to you. For people who are having a clearly defined alt character but want to play it a little from the start this does nothing
