How will you obtain a Dip/DipDirection data for a plain since it will always be 90° offset fron north? I used to use a Brunton Geo and it did give the data with the outher graduated circle, but this one is 90° moved !
Hi Ivan. The azimuth rings on both the 0-360 and Quad versions rotate a complete 360 degrees so you can configure them however you'd like with a few turns of a dime. Take care.
You go Girl!!!! This one of the best videos I've seen about the material Thank You
Nice explanation 👍
how to measure lineation
Is there a way to measure only the dip direction of the plane, like a clar compass?
Victor - yes, certainly. Rotate the azimuth ring 90 degrees with a dime to do measurements this way. Hope this helps!
