Diagnosed with PTS about a yr ago. Severe pain, starting in rhomboid area and armpit. As they subsided it moved to biceps, elbow and forearm. Ring and baby finger lost all strength. Therapy helped, but took 3 months for pain to subside. A lot of atrophy, very noticeable in hand and biceps. About a month ago it recurred! Took about 3 weeks to go through all the same symptoms, so an accelerated pace. It’s nearly gone now, but more atrophy in same areas that I’ve been building back. You are correct, severe pain and no position helps for more than a few minutes at a time. Very frustrating affliction.

I never went through the acute pain phase. I have symptoms of brachial neuritis and pts. My question is that is there any way that I can regain flexion and control of the forearm, bicep, and tricep of the effected arm? Will i also be able to gain normal function of my scapula and its normal movement? Currently my left scapula is winged and even with 3 years of training in the gym it still refuses to fit in place and overtime has caused me major muscular imbalances. If there are ways to go about the healing process please help me. I've searched the internet on this for the past 2 years and no real information has come about that tells me a finite way to fix this, whether that be surgery, a certain type of physical therapy of changes in my diet.
