I had a Daylong Touring by Russel on my old K100 RT, but it didn't fit me well. They really know how to make seats that you can sit on all day long without any complaint, but they need to be a custom fit for the rider. I believe they didn't get the thing right for me because of the inseam measurement. As I recall, when I ordered the seat over the phone, there was some communication about the inseam measurement that wasn't clear to me. It was like a major league hitter with the best batting average striking out. It can happen. However I was so impressed with it that I plan on getting another one, maybe showing up in person with the bike for a good custom fit. Quality was excellent. I am one that never found motorcycle seats to be comfortable enough. I consider a good seat to be one of the most important parts of a motorcycle. If you have a seat that really is comfortable for you, why change? But if anyone is not happy with their seat, I say, try Russel Daylong.
Ehm, there is also a lock on the left or the right bottom of the case. You have to open that too. Then you have to wiggle the pannier a little to the back and twist it a little. Hard to explain... Hope you managed it!
I think it was a bit much for the seat. Hard to find a comfortable motorcycle seat these days in my opinion. I've had a few different ones and was not happy with them. Looking forward to getting a Russel Daylong Touring saddle, from CA, USA.
BMWK75Rider Good video. Be sure to do your spline lubes. I put 150,000 on a K100 without doing any, but I bet it was nearly destroyed. I recently bought a K1100 and am studying up on how to do it all myself. I'm sure I can do them all on a weekend. No need to destroy these good bikes.
Subscribed! Thx for good videos. I own a '93 K75S. The panniers look great. I like the contrasting color.
Saddle bags are what we call them in Texas. Great video.

Ah yes, of course! Saddle bags! Didn't think about that yet. Thanks! :-)
I like the video and sound of the K75...but...please drop the conversation

Good luck with that! The seat was a bit steep indeed, but well, I'm still happy with it ;-)

Hi I have just got a K75 RT, how on earth do you take the panniers off?
