I have bad memories of Blizzard Bluff. Some of it is from the Relic Races, but most of it is from the game crashing whenever I try to load it... if it even makes it to the title screen! I have dubbed this condition "Blizzard Bluff Syndrome".

I've been playing CTR, CNK, AND CTTR... And I have always played in the hardest difficulty... Its been about 9 years I have played those games so I am already ready (I'm not even joking I have a ps2 slim and played since I was 4 years old, I guess you can call me a real og)
I remember as a toddler, I'd play this with my mom on my Playstation 1. I think this was the first game I ever put in by myself. My mom enjoyed it and so did I and this track was my all time favorite! Her favorite racer was Tiny and I loved Coco.
The reason game journalists are bad at games is largely down to the amount of games they have to play for reviews/content. Because they have so many games that players expect reviews for they only have time to play through the minimum they need to form a review. As a result, they never really get good at a game while we gamers have comparatively more time to dedicate to mastering a game. It's a similar reason to why most game developers aren't good at the games they make as they're too busy making, iterating and perfecting their games to master playing them. Unless they're in the QA team, then they're gods among men.
The Low Gravity jumps? Yeah I guess im not crazy either.... cause I feel like they are much shorter.... or perhaps the depth of the stage isnt the same so it makes us think that it's smaller.... idk

I don't think, the whole trophies list has been revealed and include trophies unlocked by using the legal shorcuts of CTR maps, stating also the level name in which you obtain them, and both "Hot Air Skyway" and Oxide Station" are not present, meaning they fixed those 2 levels "illegal" shortcuts.
Oxide Station definitely looks more interesting in Nitro-Fueled :D It's a great track in the original, but it lacks a lot of detail, and Beenox have fixed it ;) I love it.

For those that are wondering this game feels nothing like the original. If you played it and have mastered it with all the unintentional shorcuts you will not be able to play this without MASSIVE readjustment. The physics shit the bed as soon as you pick up enough speed.

Strangely enough, the track couldnt be played in 2P Mode, but indeed existed on game's disc and was 100% fully functional. Why they didnt made it unlockable.... is beyond me.... especially in the "Crash Cup" part..... Why on earth did they made last track a Slide Coliseum after Hot Air Skyway and not Oxide Station? It bugs me to this day...
I am certain it has to do with Split screen. When you do split screen, the game renders everything x times (depending on how many screens there will be) Oxide station is a complex track, so it will slow down the game with many screens.

Hi friends 1 question please, all Im seeing is "Single race" on these new CTR refueled videos The original game had "Cups" that consisted of 4 races(Kumpa Cup, Nitro Cup, etc) and after each race you would see the updated standings. Are we going to be able to play online cups with our friends, with standings and podiums?? ...If they dropped the ball here, if all we can play is dumb single races online then it would be the dumbest thing ever.
Nitros Oxide had to be a complete stats character, not just a acceleration character like N. Gine and Coco. If I am not wrong, it was just like that on the original game.
He's an acceleration character in Nitro-Fueled, just like he was in Crash Nitro Kart. Beenox also said that they couldn't let any characters have perfect stats, since it wouldn't be balanced for online play.

If it's any consolation, the space jump is a little better in single player, if only because of the unique sound design while you're alone in space.
