Here is the scenario I am having trouble with: I have 2 WAN connections 2nd one used for failover. PING is allowed on both WAN 1 ans WAN 2 I can PING WAN 1 from internet I am not able to PING WAN 2. Also i only want to allow PING to WAN interfaces from specific public IP Address range. How can I accomplish this?
Hi sir, In this lecture you have configured simple policy in fw and in policy config you have mentioned services as ALL(which allows all tcp udp..etc) . but if BGP routing is configured and what if I want to allow only https service in policy . should I enable both tcp port 179(Bgp) , 443(https)?
hi thanks for the video, i just want to know is this policy is one way , like from internal n/w to Internet ?. but how the traffic is blocked from internet to internal network ?
DMZ is the zone, where usually servers are hosted which have access from internet as well. Usually they have less restrictions from internal and but more as compre to outside/untrust zone
Sir last me aapne dmz ko internet allow k liy first wali policy me source me daal diya but usme incoming interface to pc ka hai to kaise work krega i am confused plz batay isko

Yes, you have to select bgp(179)& https(443)
Only these will be working remaining all will not be.
@@freshdeveloper thank you

Request initiated from internal to internet will get reply.
But if internet user initiates request it will be blocked.
i hope it clears.
hello, what is the use of DMZ role ? are you making communication between lan to DMZ network ?
DMZ is the zone, where usually servers are hosted which have access from internet as well.
Usually they have less restrictions from internal and but more as compre to outside/untrust zone
