@@kikidee6741 The GP in Korea don't give a fuck about K-pop groups in general. 2AM aren't the typical k-pop group and weren't as popular as their counterpart 2PM or any type of boygroup. Nowadays this generation is all based on having a huge fanbase which then leads onto the popularity.
Loool you say that these newbies don't lack quality...Yet every song is soooo generic and westernized that only one or two are standing out within the 3rd/4th gen. At least 1st & 2nd gen had so many artists with different sounds and earned their achievements based on song quality. Whilst now it's bulk buying, mass streaming/fan voting = records breaking/awards.

It's 2021 and i still feel broken whenever i hear this song.
Honestly this group is one of the most talented Kpop idol groups that we will ever come across. I think DBSK and Mamamoo also fall under that category. They have such powerful and emotional vocals that we rarely find among Kpop groups. It kind of makes me frustrated that sometimes being pretty can qualify you as a Kpop artist.

I don't get it why this group isnt more popular than 2pm or even the other boy groups. They all can sing, which you cant find in almost others boy group. Their voices are stunning and how they looks are gorgeous, what else we need? Their songs, maaaan, once you hear you wont stop.
+Yakobus James Their singing is really no joke. As a ballad group, they are the legend in those era. But there is also limitation for ballad group, people love dance song and appearance more than only on singing. I feel bad for them actually. I would say they are too good to be an idol group.
Well they broke up three of the members went to other companies as solo singers and actors only one stayed and I guess will be a solo artist

I'm never letting you go 2AM :( I'll miss you Seulong and Jinwoon Oppa!!! I Wish you all the best and success in your new companies. It's not going to feel the same anymore :( Still in disbelief tbh. It sucks that weren't used to their full potential and put to the back burner. They did have their lime-light but it was short; only producing ballads songs nothing else. Though I hope to see Seulong and Jinwoon oppa in more projects/movies in the future! I'm still going to be around to support them ^^ Fighting!

Jinwoon talks possible 2AM disbandment, if he keeps in touch with 2AM, and more
2AM's Jinwoon, who is now under MYSTIC, sat down with Daily Sports for a lengthy interview session. During this extended conversation with the media outlet, Jinwoon talked about everything from upcoming albums plans to a possible 2AM disbandment.
When the interviewer asked him whether the 2AM members talked of staying together at the same agency once their contracts were over, Jinwoon answered, "We did [talk about it]. But the four of our music preferences are so different that we naturally gravitated to different agencies. We never said it out loud but we were all probably thinking it. That there is no company that would fulfill all four of our musical preferences."
The interviewer commented how some groups tend to disband when they go their separate ways, but Jinwoon reassured that there isn't even a "0.1% instance" of the 2AM members discussing disbandment, adding, "Because we're a vocal group, as long as there is music, I think we can always release an album."
Jinwoon was also asked what he usually talks about with the other 2AM members when he meets up with them. The singer replied honestly, "We just drink and have a good time. Most of our conversations revolve around any girls that we're into these days. We don't really talk about serious things when we haven't seen one another in a long time. We just play and tell funny stories. I see Seulong so often that I'm about to get sick of his face, but I don't get to see Jo Kwon and Changmin that often because they're so busy."
On 2AM album plans, Jinwoon said, "Because there are no conflicts among the members, we discuss [releasing a new album] quite often. I wish that the four companies we're under would quickly pull out all the stops to get the ball rolling. 2AM can only release an album depending on how our agencies prep us for one. We don't have any specific plans right now so the idea is just sort of up in the air."
Jinwoon also hinted at his own album, saying, "It will come out soon. I'm not sure whether it will be a mini or a single album yet, but I want to think of a story to produce one. I did retro last time, but this time around, I want to showcase a modern style band music that isn't quite following the trends."

Well, that's difficult:
Jokwon: Still in JYPE. Does solo songs and kept the genre ballads mostly. Appears a lot to support the younger JYPNation kids :)
Changmin: opened a really popular cafe and keeps a pretty low profile. He left his last entertainment Big Hit (Yes, the BTS Big Hit) to start his own(?).
Jinwoon: Still trying to get a hang on acting...not working out too well. Just small or no roles for him :(
Seulong: acting a lot, not really doing any music anymore, but it works quite well for him :)

Actually the majority of Kpop are still ballad singers. :) Who are very popular in Korea. But they are not part of that Hallyu Wave like idol groups do. So a lot of international fans don't know these singers.

이 노래는 제가 기억하기에 무척이나 파격적인 노래의 제목이 신선한 충격으로 다가왔고, 슬픈 멜로디와 노래 제목와 같은 후렴구의 가사가 인상 깊어서 인기를 얻었던걸로 기억합니다. 거기다가 김소월의 진달래꽃 처럼 반어법을 이용해서 안타까움과 슬픔을 극대화 시켜서 국어 선생님들이 학생들한테 반어법이 무엇인지 설명하기 위해 무척이나 많이 사용되었고 저도 역시 그 설명을 들었습니다. 크....개인적으로 조권이 가인이랑 우결 찍을때 별명이 깝치고 나대서 '깝권' 인데, 이 영상에서 슬픈 얼굴과 미친 가창력을 가진 사람이였다는 것에 너무 충격을 먹었죠. 그래서 거기에서 매력 느끼고 나중에 좋아하게 됐죠. 임슬옹은 워낙에 아이유랑 호흡 맞추고 연기도 능숙해서 좋아하고 있었고 ㅋㅋㅋ
