Definitely been a silent viewer over the last 4 years but something about the foo fighters set here was just eye opening, the vulnerability and raw emotion you guys show is so real and moving. A really real representation for men everywhere, don’t change and never stop doing this.

That everlong moment at 19:50 brought a tear to my eye!
Just got to the Foos. Man.. That got me a bit.. My buddy was with Taylor literally the night/day before he passed away. He's done the sound for The Pretenders for years. They did a show with the Foos. Taylor was proudly telling my buddy about how, he was the one who convinced Chrissie Hynde, to get rid of the perspex sound shields from infront of the drums. 'You've got someone like that behind the kit, don't hide em away, you've gotta unleash the f'ing beast!!'. We were so shocked by the news. Devastating. It's a small story, but, to me, it speaks to who Taylor was. Just a genuinely lovely bloke who absolutely adored drums, music and rock and roll. ❤️🙏
Rock im Park was my first festival I've visited almost 20 years ago as a teenager. We had no clue how to prepare a festival trip, carried way too much beer and not enough food during a crazy long train trip through half of the country that started after we finished school on Friday. The line-up was crazy: slayer, motley crue, iron maiden, slipknot, chemical brothers, billy idol, marilyn manson, sonic youth, in flames, lamb of god, weezer, maroon 5 (??!!), incubus, r.e.m., green day, papa roach, john legend (?!) and many more. For breakfast we had sangria with cereals. Memories :)
After watching you guys for 6 years, I've never seen Rob so emotionaly happy, good on ya mate

What a video. To see so much raw emotion & to see a group of friends have the time of their lives is incredible. The work you all put in to go to festival after festival is crazy. Everlong is one of those song that will always bring me to tears. it´s like no matter how hard you try to be rough and mature, all masks drop of and emotions just flow....glad you guys had such a amazing time here in germany. Please come back in the future, i love the connection people from all around the world can accomplish just by listening to the music they love.

Bumped into Danny outside the “house of horror” at download this weekend and I grabbed him to say hello and he was so so sound, stood and chatted for a good bit and asked how I was finding the festival so far, considering how many people must grab you bunch at festivals everyday it was so nice, thanks for the content everyone!

I was at the Milton Keynes gig in 2011 and it was an amazing night. Was also at the Tribute concert which was ridiculously emotional and I know seeing them again for the first time on tour will be emotional too.

I was there and I felt the exact same way about the foo fighters. man it was the most emotional gig I've ever been to. I will never forget this.
This was a great watch. Brought back some great memories from when i did Rock am Ring in 2011. Drove all the way from Sussex too which was ridiculous! Such a good festival and such nice people.

It was awesome meeting you guys at the fest right before KOL. You are SO lovely in person! Totally agree that watching the Foo's was such a highlight. It was so emotional being there for the start of this new Foo's era without Taylor. Having read Dave's book, my guesses about the "Aurora" tribute for Taylor and Dave's daughter coming out were right and had me crying in the crowd! Hopefully, we'll run into each other again, maybe at Glasto or Tomorrowland if you're there too this year. 😊More chats are needed!

I am loving this. Some of my best YT festival channel mates are going to the Ring, a Fest i have been going to since 2008. Prepare for lots of hill walking as the racing track is layed down on hills and such and good luck walking up and down towards yer tents. But Oh my god what a festival!! One of them biggest on the mainland, enjoy your time there SanPelli crew. It is one of the best in Europe.
