There is an anime of Arknights showing the main story from the very beginning. No previous knowledge required and currently in 2nd season. That said, some of the crazier things and revelations in the setting happen in side stories: the Bestial Lords playing death games with mortal champions in mafia-governed Italy-like country, Feranmut or Titan dragon god family drama in Imperial China-like nation, vacations turned into revolutions in Latin America, hyper-evolving Sea monsters invading Atlantis and Bloodborne Spain, the Witch King saga in Magical Musical Germany, the uber-creepy demons or aliens coming from an Stargate in the Frozen North, etc. The next side story in Global is Lonetrail. Which will show the first successful attempt by the Arknights peoples in reaching space. Which for some reason is hidden in their world of Terra by a false sky. And obviously connects with Endfield, although judging by the technology levels, there are probably hundreds of years separating the two games. That said, the girl with pigtails at the end part of the 1st trailer is Angelina, a character in original Arknights. A normal former high school girl who abandoned her home and started working as a mail carrier all over the world after discovering her infection with Oripathy: a 100% fatal disease. Gave her cool gravity powers, but much shortened lifespan. How the heck did she got herself into another planet (Talos II), hundreds or thousands of years into the future? Well, your guess is as good as mine.

Still unsure for global since in an original ak game theres a space related event where cn already experienced and not yet in global, maybe we'll get the beta after that even arrive (copium)
they did not make a new company, gryph frontier is basically their global name , just like how IN CN Hoyoverse it's called MiHoyo , but outside of it they rebranded as Hoyoverse

This specific gameplay demo seems to be a "vertical slice" type, representing a fully-playable portion of a game that shows its developer's intended player experience, I hope we can get more separate combat and construction demos that show both in greater detail.
at 3:40 it looks like this is Angelina on her bloodline of combat costume with some differences. Fun fact on the bloodline of combat series of costume, these are costume lines that shows the operator(character) at the prime of their combat prowess be it the past, present or the future in this case her future self(since the one we got in game is barely started to learn her gravity manipulation abilities). We can also go Alternate universe one and go with the 'dimension traveler Angelina' ver that was datamined like 2 YEARS ago in the anniversary event in CN but we never got lol tbh based on her powers and her operator records she can go both ways due to her potential plus she's apparently Lowlights favorite lmao.
I think anyone interested in Endfield should definitely try arknights first. As you'll able to go through much deep into character mechanics and also most importantly archetypes of characters. If they implement the same as arknights which we believe they will then you should definitely go and study a little because arknights have tones I mean tons of types and archetypes. Also lore seems to be connected somewhat so you should start watching the anime maybe
I'm just glad Endfield isn't another typical ARPG from the looks of it like Genshin or Wuthering Waves. It looks like an Real Time Strategy/Death Stranding-like kind of game. Like a collect materials and expand.
It said in real time with strategic elements in 3D "literally a RTS game" with a xenoblade or FF game combat mechanics. I don't know if people like world building stuff 😅
8 month since official teaser reveals, did you have to expose yourself that fast that you didnt do any research, eh im just jabbing at you, theres gonna be a beta test on 10th on nov for CN, as for playing arknights, its a great game but not every1s cup of tea sadly, not every likes the visual novel style with no voice acting in the story, but the story is very good and worth the read, if not you can also enjoy the game from outside by seeing the trailers and osts/character themes, they are worth checking them out, you will find out why people meme "arknights is a music company that made a game to advertise their music"
Why would doctor be here, it's a different planet within the same universe. And as we players of Arknights have confirmed that it's either alternative timeline or future. In both scenarios, the character of Arknights can't be present in this timeline. Except one
Maybe it's the art style. The seemingly cel shaded but not really kind of look on the units and environment. Seems fine to me. They feel similar to Soulstice.
If you like Enfield when its released and like the lore then it would be a must to atleast know the basics of Arknights lore.

There was a beta/alpha announced for CN for PC only. They may open the testing for other regions later, but for now it's still in early stages.
