Merry Christmas Dave & Doc from Kentucky. Dave, I may be absolutely crazy but I found a pretty nice 8N Ford with the side mounted distributor just up the road from where I live. This 8N has the Sherman Hi-Lo transmission add on. The deal was even sweeter with the Woods RM306 finish mower thrown into the deal. The tractor has really decent tires and some other features that I haven’t seen on an 8N like the storage cutout located on the right fender with the actual box being in the area between the right tire and fender. The guy that I purchased the tractor from thought that the tractor was a 1952 8N which I think he was wrong because the tractor doesn’t have the tachometer like the 1952 8N’s usually had on them. Maybe I could send you a email sometime to let you know what I gave for the tractor and mower. The guy that I purchased the tractor from drove it to my place, So there wasn’t any transport costs involved. My only concern is that I wish that the oil pressure was higher. The guy that I purchased the tractor from said that the engine never made any bad noises or knocking sounds - We Will See, Regarding That.
Good job guys be safe out your buddy from Nebraska merry Christmas to
